  1. New Player FAQ
  2. 1)Play through the tutorial stages to get some gems (skip them if you already know how to play Yu-Gi-Oh, you still get the rewards)
  3. 2)Buy The 3 750 gem bundles (Ash Blossom, Lightning Storm and Solemn Judgment)
  4. 3)Do some research about the deck you wish to play the most
  5. 4)Craft a high rarity card of that archetype if you haven't pulled one already, as it unlocks its archetypal Secret Pack
  6. 5)Pull that pack until you're 1-2 cards away from completing the core, then craft the cards you're missing
  7. 6)Dismantle other cards you've pulled to craft staples (ask the thread if you don't know if you should dismantle a certain card) and complete your deck
  8. 7)Just play the game already

  10. Easy Decks for new players?
  11. Eldlich
  12. The archetype is centered on the monster "Eldlich the Golden Lord", who is supported by the "Eldlixir" and "Golden Land" Spell/Trap archetypes. The deck's playstyle is control-focused, with a game plan based on summoning "Eldlich" as quickly as possible (either through his own effect or the "Eldlixir" cards), controlling the field using "Golden Land" cards, and using the GY effects of these cards to recover card advantage and out-grind the opponent.
  13. "Eldlich the Golden Lord", the deck's central Main Deck monster, has a non-destruction removal effect and a GY self-recovery effect, both of which have a cost of sending 1 Spell/Trap to the GY.
  14. The "Eldlixir" cards are Spell/Trap cards that can Special Summon Zombie monsters directly from the hand, Deck, and/or GY, but must summon "Eldlich" if he isn't on the field.
  15. "Golden Land" cards are power Spell/Traps with disruptive or destructive effects, including 3 Trap Monsters, whose effects require "Eldlich" to be on the field to take full effect.
  16. Central to the deck's function are the GY effects of the "Eldlixir" cards and the "Golden Land" trap monsters: they can banish themselves from the GY to set a card from the opposite archetype onto the field. They therefore provide a continuous source of advantage over several turns, supplying the costs for "Eldlich" to revive itself and giving the deck an extremely impressive grind game.
  17.
  18. Crusadia
  19. The archetype focuses around Link summoning up to their boss monster Crusadia Equimax and buffing it up to OTK the opponent.
  20. The archetype's Main Deck members consists of 5 archetypal members, and one related "World Legacy" monster with an effect that supports the archetype, "World Legacy - "World Crown"". Each of the 6 monsters all share a Special Summoning effect that lets them (hard once per turn) Special Summon themselves to a zone that a Link Monster points to, in Defense Position.
  21. The archetype's Extra Deck members consists of 5 Link Monsters, all of which are LIGHT. Save for "Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax", the other 4 "Crusadia" Link Monsters all share 2 Continuous Effects that lets them gain ATK equal to the original ATK of all monsters they point to, and prevents those monsters from attacking.
  22. Generally, the deck aims to perform an easy OTK by summoning "Crusadia Equimax", having it point to both "Leonis" and "Maximus", and use the effects of "Leonis" and "Maximus" on it, giving it 4800 ATK and the ability to deal double piercing battle damage against enemy monsters, allowing an OTK if it attacks anything with 800 or lower ATK/DEF. The archetype's Special Summoning abilities allows an easy Link climb into "Regulex" and "Equimax", and "Draco" and "Magius" can assist in gathering "Leonis" and "Maximus" by recovering them and searching them. Additionally, "Regulex" can search the archetype's Field Spell, "Crusadia Revival", to give "Equimax" more stat boosts for more OTK consistency.
  23.
  24. Mekk-Knight
  25. The "Mekk-Knight" archetype's playstyle focuses on Special Summoning high Level monsters while there are two or more cards in the same column, in order to swarm the field and generate hand advantage. In addition to depending on column setups for the Summoning effect of the Main Deck monsters, most of the Effect Monsters and much of their Spell/Trap support are based on being in the same column as an opponent's card (or the opposite, with "Morning Star" and "Spectrum Supreme"). The archetype is played in a control-beatdown playstyle, focusing on strategic disruptions, resource accumulation, and high-ATK monsters to close the game quickly over a few turns.
  26.
  27. The seven key Main Deck "Mekk-Knight" Effect Monsters share the following effect:
  28. >If 2 or more cards are in the same column, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in that column. You can only Special Summon "..." once per turn this way.
