  1. The last boss last phase RNG works with one state value that ranges from 0 to 99. It is initially set with the last two digits of your x position. To make a decision, it picks the corresponding one and advances the value by one.
  2. After a timeout, it decides the next move based on RNG and if it reached the second attack phase (<40% health). Other two things can influence it: the initial target, where it goes out of the shell, on a Stomp, is chosen with the RNG but if it is too close to you (130 pixels) it tries again. Also, on Smash, whenever it hits a wall it checks if it should just flip its gravity or follow you, flipping gravity advances the RNG state by one while following you advances it by two. I added the first Smash pick just in case, since it just advances RNG by 1, always.
  3. Fixed RNG advances: each attack uses a different amount: Stomp uses 3 plus the amount of failed target acquisitions, Strafe uses 4, Smash uses 1 plus one or two for each smash it performs, and Sleep uses 1. The transitions from Stomp or Strafe to Stomp or Smash use an extra 1, and if you're in the second attack phase and Stomp or Smash don't go to Sleep that's another 1.
  4. And finally, if the last Stomp was 4 attacks ago, the current attack is overriden to be Stomp. But if this affects you, your run is probably not being very good anyway...
  5. The Stomp targets, by the way, are arranged in a rectangle like so:

  10. Also, backgrounds are green for Stomp, red for Smash, yellow for Sleep, cyan/magenta for Strafe (depending on attack phase). Timeouts are 6, 6, 6.2 and 5.2, respectively but you can skip Sleep to get to Stomp by being below the boss (no RNG advance from Sleep).
