Yu Na was  born in Busan into a family that consisted of her mother, her father and her two older brothers. During her time at school,, she was seen as 'popular', despite having not-so-great grades. Although she tried hard with her studies (most of the time), she was not a bright person no matter how much she wanted to be.  When both her brothers moved out, she was left alone most of the time, especially when her parents were busy at work.  She started to become more interested in music, specifically rapping. Between studying for her mid terms and helping her parents out at the restaurant, Yu Na spent her free time working on her rap. Whenever the opportunity came up, she decided to test her luck and apply for entertainment agencies.
