  8. He's a bit of a prick, but fairly useful in combat. Most people don't expect the ornamental looking weapon to start shooting lasers at their eyes and then carve them up. Occasionally a bit hard to get him off his ass to actually do something instead of just sitting around reading in his Soul Room. Most of his techniques revolve around building momentum up and disrupting enemy sight lines to prevent them from intercepting his strikes.
  9.
  10. Meister
  11. Captain Roberts
  12. Free Suff (free)
  13. Enchanter (300)
  14. Demon Airship Replica (100)
  15. Animal Familiar (0) Parrot
  16. Big old mountain of a man. Has his ship crewed by golems and will frequently go hunt down someone on Shinigami's list by harassing them with "boarding parties" of golems before dealing with them himself. His Demon Weapon Partner occasionally gets annoyed when the Meister insists the boat gets second billing. Was the apprentice of a dread pirate for awhile, until they had a run in with a particularly nasty witch who massacred almost all of them, which was the impetus for him joining the Academy.
  17.
  18. Roberts' Demon Weapon
  19. Buttercup
  20. Loads of Free Stuff (free)
  21. Weapon Form: Cannon (free)
  22. Metal Manipulation Ability (400) Used mostly for creating new and interesting payloads to shoot
  23. Soul Resonance Finisher (100)
  24. Don't Wanna Walk (0) A sort of leather sling for ease of carrying. Still a huge cannon in her weapon form though so it's usually better for her to walk
  25. An old friend of Captain Roberts from back before he got involved in the whole piracy thing. They met up by coincidence in the academy and have since hit it off. Admittedly her weapon form is a bit unwieldy, meaning they frequently have to temporarily turn her back and move that way instead of trying to lug around a few hundred pounds of steel.
  26.
  27. Witch Companion
  28. Theme: Octopus
  29. Spells: A strange array of tricks. Mild short range telekinesis, clouds of illusion creating ink, and reshaping her own body to fit in gaps, dodge attacks, or just look like someone else. A build more focused on deception and trickery than combat prowess. On the plus side most of her stuff isn't destructive, so the Sway of Magic lacks much hold on her.
  30.
  31. A bit of an outcast among witches for what was perceived as a "weak" magic. She ended up trying to hide in the normal world only to be harried by Meisters. At least until Captain Roberts found her. Buttercup was nowhere near the 99 souls required for being a Death Scythe, but Roberts had heard there was a witch in the area and tracked her down. What he wasn't expecting to find was a scared girl a bit younger than him who wasn't even able to do much more than run from a fight. So he ended up taking her aboard his ship as a "prisoner" to make sure nobody else came after her and she had somewhere to rest in peace. Doors to her quarters aren't even locked or anything, and she has had the occasional trip out into whatever town they're in this week under an assumed name and face.
