Noah is bad at gifts

Alexithymiaa: -Noah was wandering around the mall with the money Tae had given him in his wallet, glancing from one store to the next in search of something cool to buy her since this was very clearly a test. He'd been here for over an hour already and hadnt found anything he deemed worthy and was now overall feeling pretty defeated.-
Covet: Tae was sitting in one of those massage chairs, feeding it dollar bills from her tip money over the last couple of days, sipping on an Orange Julius with a bag that had a box of the carmel pecan cinnamon rolls for them for breakfast tomorrow. She was messaging Noah, keeping tabs on what he was doing as to apply a little less pressure to the situation. -text: So find anything yet? I've got about thirty more minutes worth of singles for the chair, before I have to go break another twenty. -
Alexithymiaa: -Feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, he pulled it out in frustration to see another text from Tae, letting out an exasperated sigh. -text- NO. Ive been wandering around in circles forever. This is hard. -Noah
Covet: Tae smirked kind of feeling bad for him then bit her straw as she texted back. -Text: Well do you know what things I like?-
Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes, ignoring her text and shoving the phone back down into his pocket. He started off in the direction he'd come, intent on finding the massage chairs in the middle of the mall. As he finally approached, he let out a whine. "You like me, but you already have me so what else am I supposed to get?"-
Covet: "It's not that complicated." She said with a laugh. " You're honestly over thinking it. I'm a girl... a basic asian girl... who likes costumes, dressing up and Japanese things. But still a basic girl, what do basic girls of instagram like?" She asked him as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the rolly balls on her neck.
Alexithymiaa: -He rolled his eyes, frustrated with this little game and just wanting to get it overwith at this point. "Taking pictures of their keto diets and pumpkin spice lattes?"-
Covet: "Fuck Keto diets." She said looking at him. "Do you see what I'm drinking and what we're having for breakfast?" She said pointing to the box, "But totally on the pumpkin spice lattes. Bathbombs and good smelly things are always good, any jewlery really... Don't even think about make up we've got that covered."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm just saying, that's what my feed is flooded with. And ugg boots because you cant have a basic bitch without a pair of overpriced ugg boots." He dropped down into the massage chair next to her, leaning his head into his hands. "You want me to buy you jewelry?"-
Covet: "Wow.. you follow REALLY Basic crunchy granola girls." She said scrunching up her nose, "You should look up some Japanese Insta models... Lots of cute outfits, just saying." She said to him. "Yeah but not like.. super fancy expensive over the top jewlery. I'm more of a random, cute, fun , probably cheap jewlery. Or sexy jewlery... like.. leather choker... that sort of thing."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, kind of." He smirked with a bit of guilt, knowing that any 'hot' girls he saw on insta he just sort of followed. "So like plastic costume jewelry. The beaded crap and stuff?"-
Covet: "There are way hotter girls than those follow hungry bitches." She said to him. "Seriously... you need to broaden your insta options." Tae looked at him tilting her head, "Sorta... Basically? Like the shit they'd sell at Forever 21 or Hot topic."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not against broadening my insta options. This is just what I happen to see. It's not my fault." He shrugged, trying to think of things. An idea popped into his head, tilting it to the side as his mind wandered.-
Covet: Tae looked over at him and raised an eyebrow at him, "Did you pop a blood vessel up there?" She asked as she slid a bill into his machine while refilling her own.
Alexithymiaa: "What? No. I was just thinking about something I thought you might like. Maybe. I don't know, it's a longshot and I don't even know if I'd be able to find it here. I'm probably better off going online. Everything is easier to find online." He leaned back into the massage chair, making himself comfortable as it started up.-
Covet: "Oh? Well I'm excited to see what you come up with now." She told him reaching out with her hand for his to hold.
Alexithymiaa: -He stuck his hand out to hold onto hers as well, wiggling himself into the rolling balls of the chair. "No pressure or anything, right? This is actually pretty nice."-
Covet: "Yeah it isn't a good hands on deep tissue massage, but it definitley works in a pinch." She said to him, as she laced his finger through his, "Aww, our first couples massage, and we aren't even naked... dammit."
Alexithymiaa: "Kind of seems like a let down if you ask me." He snickered, tipping his head back and closing his eyes. "In my opinion, massages should be naked."-
Covet: "Well it was kind of spur of the moment... so we can't really just strip down in the mall and expect everyone to be okay with that." She said with a laugh. "But we could totally book a massage."
Alexithymiaa: "I mean... we could..." He started, not actually serious about that. "Or at least I bet I could without garnering as much attention as you. Booking an actual massage sounds expensive though."-
Covet: "The local shops aren't that bad, I think it's like thirty bucks for thirty minutes? YOu wouldn't want much more than that." She said to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh I thought it was like. two hundred bucks or something." He said with a shrug. "Why wouldnt you want much more than that?"-
Covet: "Only if you go to those fancy medical esque spas. You can go to a cheap parlor, there's one at like every strip mall." She said to him. "Well Deep tissue massages can be kind of painful for the first couple of days even for thirty minutes. So maybe just regular massages?"
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know, I've never had like a professional massage before. Of any kind." When his chair stopped rolling he just sat there, feeling awkward because his body had adjusted to the motions.-
Covet: "My mom and I went like twice when I was still in highschool" She told him looking at him, " That's why I've been keeping it going, it feels so weird to stop."
Alexithymiaa: "Going to have to stop eventually." He sat up, pulling his hand back from her and stretching his arms out before he stood up. "I've had like.... massages from chicks before, but nothing that was professional."-
Covet: "Oh, I don't think I've ever had someone give me a casual at home massage." She said looking at him, then bent over to get the cinnamon rolls, " Yeah I know. I'll fall asleep here if I keep this going."
Alexithymiaa: "Really?" He asked her, clearly surprised. "I guess we're just going to have to change that. Naked. See? Massages are meant to be naked."-
Covet: "I'm not about to complain if you're going to give me a naked massage, especially because I know it will end in sex." She said as she started to head for the doors.
Alexithymiaa: "And then everyone wins. Realistically this is how it should be all the time. Naked massages that end in sex. I can't believe this isnt a thing for you." Twisting the knife, Noah.-
Covet: " Yeah... well. My interests were never really considered in my last relationship. So.. there's that." She said with a shrug, "But you're going to make up for it, and make it all better, like an awesome boyfriend." Tae said smiling, grabbing his hand again.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. I am an awesome boyfriend. I'm good at this. Im like the best there ever was." And there it goes. "C'mon, I need to show you how good I am." He said as he dragged her out toward the car.-
