3. Back in October 2013 (7 months ago at the time of writing this) I was pretty much new to Lua. Lua was my first programming language ever (except for minor PHP and some JS, but that's pretty much it). I wanted to create a "simplified version" of this addon, but I just kept scratching my head because I didn't know how to. I requested help on the forums asking if someone could guide me. Luckily, MrPresident was so nice to provide a fully fuctional code. I later managed to improve that code myself to become more useful, with a tip from Megiddo about ULib's "NameChanged" hook.
4. It worked perfectly.
5. More people requested to use it, and then suddenly Storm suggested to create this into an "official addon". It was a great idea, and I wanted to make it happen, but I will still too much of a noob to actually manage to do it. I tried, but failed, and eventually just moved the project folder deep into one of my backup harddrives.

7. Fast forward to May 1st 2014.
8. I had a day off because of public holiday here in Norway and decided to dig around in my old files. I'm one of those people that keep a backup of pretty much everything. And that's when I found the project files. I took a peek at the code, and all I could think was "this is just a giant pile of spaghetti". The code was awful, and didn't even work (unless you count errors as "working"). I had completely forgotten about this, but since I had a whole weekend in my disposal, I decided to give it a try again.
9. I had learned a lot more when it comes to programming (not just Lua, but the general aspect of it), but I hadn't properly done any Lua in a while so I was a bit rusty. I went back to the old thread to get a kickstart.
10. After a few days of scratching my head again, browsing the Garry's Mod developer wiki and a lot of sugar intake I managed to put together a piece of code that works. I even implemented a feature that Storm had an issue with, but Megiddo had the solution for.

12. And here we are, a few days later with an easier-to-use version of the "Name Checker/Kick".
13. Sorry for the wall of text, but I had to get that off my heart.
14. Let's move on, shall we?
