I hate that it's come to this.  My time spent here has been some of the best in my life, not only because I got to write in a format I enjoyed so much, but because I got meet new people and make friends.  It's been so exciting to see my writing become so much better than when I started, and it's a journey that I've been very glad I could take with others.  However, lately, things have been going south.

Lies and insults have become increasingly more common, despite the forum rules.  And sometimes, it feels like many of the mods are unwilling to do anything about it, or just don't care.  And recently, with a certain event, it's become intolerable for me to handle.  It's not fair for me to name names or point fingers, but those who've hurt me via insults and lies and rudeness probably know who they are.  And if they don't, I guess that just gives me more reason to leave.

I've had the time of my life writing with you guys here, but the negative is now outweighing the positive for me.  I told myself that if I ever stopped having fun here, than it's not worth it for me to stay.  That's what I joined for, to have fun in my spare time writing fun adventures.  While it's become so much more than that to me, the main problem is that I am no longer finding myself enjoying writing here, due to the rising problems within the forum.  I've loved writing here more than just about anything I've done with my life.  Heck, it's probably inspired me for what I want to do as a career.  But I'm not afraid to say I think this place is a sinking ship.  I'm getting out while I still can.  I can't put up with this anymore.  So say whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me anymore.

As for my characters, I would like for only me to decide their fates, and I would appreciate it if no one would pick up my OCs for themselves.  I obviously can't say that no one can't pick up the canons I used, since that would be unfair.  So I'll list a brief summary of what ends I've decided for them, here:

-Spencer eventually falls prey to the averse effects of his Lyrium addiction, and distances himself even further from people.  He attempts to find a cure on his own, and soon disappears entirely, never to be heard from again.

-Damien eventually comes to believe that all the excitement of adventuring is not to his tastes, and settles down in an apartment in Twilight Town.  He is rarely even seen outside, much less talking to others.

-Zero, after Cetea T'Zumo creates a schism in the Interference Order of Assassins, and Azumi Ian becomes missing in action, takes over as the head of the organization.  He still works hard to promote peace and order and to eliminate evil in the worlds, but without allies like Azumi, and with only the Dumb AI copy of what he might have considered his friend, Kira, remaining, he is lonelier than ever, and rarely even interacts with people outside of the Assassins.

-Naomi eventually returns to her home world, feeling she's learned everything about Bending she can out in the worlds.  She works to restore her family fortune with the money she was able to get when she was adventuring.

-Terry McGinnis continues working as Batman out in the worlds, with assistance from the elderly Bruce Wayne.  He even manages to meet the younger Wayne and train with him, working together with him on many missions.  He returns to his home often to talk to his friends in person, and eventually reveals to his girlfriend, Dana Tan, his alternate identity.

-After many of the members of The Collective either die or go their own ways, the Scarecrow strikes out on his own.  Eventually, he concocts a plan to absorb even more of the Yellow Fear Energy.  This absorption transforms him into the raging Scarebeast, but he is eventually defeated by other heroes.  His Qwardian Power Ring is destroyed, and he is taken back to his own world in Gotham and back into Arkham.  There, he plots his revenge for the entire city.

That's about it from me.  I'd like to thank you all very much for the good times, even if I'm leaving because of the bad.  I had so much fun here, but I feel that I no longer want to be here.  I won't stop role-playing, and I'll take my characters elsewhere, but I don't think I'll be coming back to TI:L.  I can't say thanks enough for the fun, though.
