  1. Game on, pussy.
  2.
  3. Servants that aren’t possible
  4. Genji: Kanon confirms his death, and Kanon is red text dead, meaning no lies are possible
  5. Kanon: Red death. If he turns out to be one of the culprits then go fuck yourself Bern
  6.
  7. Servant deaths
  8. Genji: ^
  9. Shannon: Confirmed by George and Nanjo
  10. Gohda/Kumasawa: Confirmed by Nanjo and Jessica
  11.
  12. Theory: Either George, Maria, or Battler is one of the culprits, along with a servant who could lock the doors
  13. >Lie about another's death
  14. >"dead" person commits Jessica's murder
  15. >One of the three could lie before their first murder
  16.
  17. George:confirms Shannon, Nanjo, Jessica
  18. Shannon could lock doors. Possibility.
  19.
  20. Battler: confirms Krauss/Natsuhi,
  21. CONFIRMS GEORGE COULDN'T KILL SHANNON
  22.
  23. Maria: confirms 6 died instantly (including Genji) and Jessica
  24. George can't kill an adult. Who could he kill then?
  25. Only possibility is Jessica or Shannon but both are impossible unless Maria is lying. but George confirms she can't kill anyone (unless also lying)
  26.
  27. Possible: George, Maria, Shannon. Both lie that they cannot kill people(or adults specifically)?
  28. Nanjo confirms Shannon’s death. Can’t be possible.
  29.
  30.
  31. George and Jessica confirm Nanjo’s death…and the three of them confirmed the earlier servant deaths.
  32. Could the 3 be lying about one of the deaths?
  33. remember George is impossible, due to the rules. Could only use Jessica, Nanjo, and Gohda/Kumasawa.
  34. Since Nanjo/Jessica confirm Gohda/Kumasawa, this is still possible
  35. NOTICE: KUMASAWA/GOHDA’S KEYS WERE NEVER DESTROYED, POSSIBLE TO CONSTRUCT NANJO’S LOCKED ROOM WITH EITHER OF THEM AS THE CULPRIT
  36.
  37. Theory: Jessica, Nanjo, and Gohda are the culprit
  38. 1. Gohda lies about the lock(?), Nanjo could lie about confirming the dead bodies (this adds nothing.) One of the 3 had to kill all 6 people.
  39. 2. Gohda can lie about the lock (?). Nanjo could lie about the bodies (useless), Jessica can lie that it was a locked room. Since servants were together, Gohda lying about the lock makes more sense. Jessica/Nanjo also “confirm” the seals. Unknown what is gained by lying about this.
  40. 4. Jessica confirms George can’t murder Shannon (this makes it harder on her?).
  41. 5/6. Nanjo and Jessica lie about Gohda/Kumasawa dying instantly. Jessica can lie about the 4 of them not being able to “kill” Gohda/Kumasawa
  42. 7. George confirms Nanjo was an instant death. Since George can’t be a culprit, theory broken
  43. …big problem now. If George can’t be a culprit, then Gohda/Kumasawa are dead, which makes Nanjo’s death a perfect locked room.
  44.
  45. Other note: Only servants can use keys, kumasawa/gohda keys are the only ones intact, unless someone lied about destroying one.
  46. Genji key: Natsuhi
  47. Shannon key: Gohda
  48. Kanon: N/A
  49. No reason for Gohda to lie about destroying a key when he can use his own…
  50. Genji returns to problem 1: confirmed by definitely dead Kanon
  51.
  52. What if George and Maria are added to Jessica/Nanjo/Gohda?
  53. …this is getting fucking ridiculous. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too complex to be right.
  54. Theory: Ge/M/J/N/Go
  55. Who could kill who?
  56. 1: Assume George does this
  57. 2: Assume Jessica does this, since servants were being watched
  58. 4: Nanjo?
  59. 5/6: Gohda kills Kumasawa, pretends to be dead.
  60. ….not possible Since 7 and 8 is faked, then Maria can’t kill anyone. Theory broken. Though this DOES mean I’ve found a way for the number of culprits to be limited. Yay. But could Maria kill Kanon?
  61. Gohda/Kumasawa is a bust for now. That only leaves Shannon as possible servant in this
  62. George/Maria/Nanjo/Shannon then, so this way George/Maria can kill freely.
  63. 1: George kills them all.
  64. 2: Maria kills both
  65. 4: faked. Could Nanjo have killed Kanon? I have no clue how to count him….
  66. Gohda destroys Shannon’s key at this point. Rest of the locked rooms are impossible.
  67.
  68. THE CHAD BATTLER’S ADVICE: Search for who has 0% chance of being the culprit. If found, then all of their purple statements are just red truth.
  69. Cool. Kanon is definitely 0%, so these statements are true:
  70. • Genji is dead
  71. • Krauss/Natsuhi are sprawled out on the floor
  72. • All servants have alibis for the second twilight
  73. Krauss/Natushi are also 0%, because their rooms get sealed forever afterwards, can’t escape and kill. Though their purple statements add almost nothing aside from confirming first twilight is a locked room.
  74.
  75. Shannon/Gohda/Kumasawa HAS to be an accomplice. This cannot be refuted. The master key is NEEDED to complete the locked room murders.
  76. Gohda is more likely. Has enough statements to be sus. If he’s lying, then that breaks locked rooms for first/second twilight.
  77.
  78. Let’s get some facts straight about group size, from what I see:
  79. • 1 man is impossible. Need a key if Ushiromiya (impossible) and all servants die at some point. Unless they had an accomplice to fake their autopsy, being culprit is impossible
  80. • 2 man also seems impossible, because every body was checked by at least 2 people, so having only the accomplice lie isn’t enough
  81. • Following this, minimum amount of people for a group is 3.
  82.
  83. 1: Shannon says each child confirmed the death of the parent, Kanon says him and Nanjo confirmed genji. Nanjo states no one would reach the wrong conclusion. Maria says all died instantly
  84. 2: Battler confirms that Nanjo confirmed they’re both dead. Nanjo confirms too
  85. 4: George and Nanjo confirm her death (George’s wording is strange though. Not necessarily saying she died, but that George believes she died.)
  86. 5/6: Jessica and Nanjo confirm they’re dead
  87. 7: Jessica/George confirm he’s dead
  88. 8: George/Maria confirm she’s dead
  89. Nanjo’s a goddamn brick wall, can’t get shit if he’s not lying
  90. Is it possible someone lied about a locked room?
  91. 1: Gohda says door is locked. Krauss confirms doors and windows are locked.
  92. 2: Gohda says door is locked. Jessica confirms door and windows are locked.
  93. 4: N/A
  94. 5/6: George confirms guesthouse is completely locked. This is different from the servant room specifically being locked. Might just be looking too deep…
  95. 7: Maria confirms room was locked perfectly.
  96. 8: N/A
  97.
  98. I haven’t attempted to use Battler at all as a culprit. How would that go?
  99. >”There is something sus in dining hall”
  100. This goes nowhere
  101. >”Nanjo didn’t check their pulse …”
  102. Nanjo proceeds to confirm this himself. Impossible.
  103. >Didn’t seal the dining hall
  104. Reread 2nd twilight, Bern states in red that Culprit of the first twilight has killed six people, Context was whether or not one of the original 6 was alive, so this kills that. Not sealing dining hall does nothing
  105. >George could have killed Shannon
  106. Jessica states this is impossible. Unless they’re both culprits, this does nothing.
  107. >We do have an alibi
  108. Having an alibi would help. Lying about this does nothing.
  109. >No master keys exist except on the two people that are dead
  110. Genji is 100% dead, so only possibility is Gohda lying about destroying the key. Battler/Shannon/Gohda? This fails instantly because Nanjo confirms her death
  111. >Nanjo did leave guest house
  112. Would make George’s confirm irrelevant. Killed outside, brought in and locked. Interesting…
  113. >We could have killed Jessica
  114. A culprit saying this won’t help
  115.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. Assume George’s weird phrasing is a legitimate trick. This means Shannon’s death was only confirmed by Nanjo. Now we’re getting somewhere.
  120. Battler/Shannon/Gohda/Nanjo
  121. Battler kills six, Nanjo kills Krauss/Natsuhi, Godha kills Kumasawa, Shannon kills Jessica.
  122. 1: Gohda Doesn’t lie about the locked room, since it’s not necessary. Other stuff confirmed by culprits has no advantage for lying.
  123. 2: Gohda doesn’t lie again. Also, no culprits are playing dead yet, so sealing changes nothing.
  124. 4: Assume George’s wordplay is a trick. Nanjo lies about Shannon being dead. Gohda lies about destroying Shannon’s key
  125. 5/6: Jessica confirms Gohda’s death. Theory broken.
  126. …shit. Now even if Nanjo lies about Shannon, she has no key. Next locked rooms are impossible.
  127. Don’t bother adding Jessica to the group. Ends up with not enough people to kill. The fact that this has happened twice tells me our limit is 4 people. This is either a 3man or a 4man. Probably THE most important piece of info I have so far. Could probably just brute force it at this rate.
  128.
  129. Theory: George/Maria/Jessica/Nanjo/Gohda
  130. I know it’s a 5man, but I think this might actually work if Maria kills Kanon.
  131. Battler says they couldn’t kill Jessica, but if Jessica’s faking then…
  132. Let’s try this again.
  133. 1: killed by George. Bern confirms all are dead, locked sealed by Gohda
  134. 2: Killed by Jessica. Gohda lies about locked door since he couldn’t actually lock it due to being watched, Jessica lies about locked windows.
  135. 4: Nanjo kills Shannon, Maria kills Kanon. Wasn’t George so Jessica lying means nothing.
  136. 5/6: Gohda kills Kumasawa. Both Jessica and Nanjo lie about their deaths. George’s locked room comment is a lie. Gohda keeps his key since they don’t destroy it
  137. 7: Jessica and George lie about Nanjo’s death. Locked room because Gohda’s still alive.
  138. 8: George/Maria lie about Jessica’s death. Battler’s comment means nothing since faked. George and Maria lie about not being able to kill one another.
  139. It fucking works? IT FUCKING WO-
  140. and then I reread the stories to absolutely make sure and learned that Gohda/Kumasawa's keys are destroyed. GODAMMIT.
  141.
  142. This isn’t in purple, and narration does not lie. Meaning Gohda/Kumasawa’s keys are destroyed permanently.
  143. Gr8, half of this work is a goddamn waste since it’s all Gohda/Kumasawa theories because I didn’t check this…
  144. This either means:
  145. • Shannon/Gohda absolutely play a part in this, this way she has her key and it isn’t destroyed. But that means Nanjo lied, and Jessica/George would need to lie about his corpse for him to be the culprit.
  146. • Locked rooms are a lie.
  147.
  148. Replace Gohda with Shannon, the other 4 lie about the further locked rooms?
  149.
  150. Theory: George/Maria/Jessica/Nanjo/Shannon
  151. 1: George kills. Door locked by Shannon.
  152. 2: Jessica kills. Locked door from the inside and lied about the windows being locked. Therefore Shannon’s alibi fits without needing to lock the door
  153. 4: George/Nanjo lie about Shannon’s death. Kanon killed by Maria. Key gets destroyed.
  154. 5/6: Shannon kills Gohda/Kumasawa, so murder still possible without blood getting on them. George lies about the guesthouse being locked up.
  155. 7: George/Jessica lie about Nanjo’s death. Maria lies about the locked room.
  156. 8:Jessica fakes death, lied by George/Maria. George/Maria lie about eachother’s ability to kill.
  157. Theory broken: Nanjo has no one to kill. Unless Nanjo and Jessica kill a separate person on the second twilight. There is no rule against this, as far as I can see.
  158. I might actually present this, then. Assuming the above, everything actually fits. While they both died instantly, there was a struggle, so it’s not like both of them were caught unaware. One of them kills Natsuhi, Krauss fights back and loses.
  159. Here goes…
  160. Nope. Also, failing to identify just plays the hint cutscene. Good to know.
  161. From this, I can assume each twilight is performed by a single person, then. Otherwise, this should fit…
  162. Also I should REALLY give up on trying a 5man.
  163.
  164. Only locked room after Gohda/Kumasawa’s keys are destroyed is Nanjo’s. Could this room specifically be the only lie?
  165. …hang on, then George/Maria/Jessica/Nanjo/Gohda could still work. Only failed last time because I assumed Nanjo’s room had to be locked, but Maria could just lie about that
  166. Actually, Nanjo could’ve just locked it from the inside if he was faking his death. Fuck.
  167. Nope. Doesn’t work. Swapping Gohda with Kumasawa also doesn’t work.
  168. Fuck it, 2nd hint.
  169. THE CHAD BATTLER’S ADVICE: People could be playing dead, look for someone you can confirm is 100% dead to deem them not culprits and rely on their truth. Look for someone who’s definitely dead with something more reliable than purple statements
  170. I did this with the first hint: red truth. Kanon, Krauss, and Natsuhi are confirmed. Only thing I got off of Krauss/Natsuhi is confirmation that Twilight 1 is a locked room and Genji’s key is destroyed.
  171.
  172. George/Maria/Nanjo/Shannon
  173. Looking back, I forgot that George/Maria can lie about the last two locked rooms, so that fixes the earlier problem.
  174. 1: George kills them all.
  175. 2: Shannon can’t lock the door. Theory broken.
  176. How the fuck did I miss this?
  177. Also: all windows have steel bars on them. This means locking them is useless. It is impossible to enter/exit from them. I somehow missed this earlier.
  178. Third time’s the charm
  179. THE CHAD BATTLER’S ADVICE: Narration doesn’t lie. If narration says in white that someone is dead, they’re dead.
  180. Cool now we’re getting somewhere again. Let’s check this then.
  181. 1: Culprit isn’t hiding inside dining hall, Everyone lacks an alibi. Assumed that culprit locked the door and left.
  182. 2: Only says “lying sprawled on the floor” for deaths. All servants have alibis.
  183. 4: the master keys no longer have anything to do with this
  184. 5/6: all doors/windows sealed. Gohda/Kumasawa’s keys destroyed.
  185. 7: DOCTOR NANJO WAS THE ONE WHO WAS KILLED, IN THE ENTRANCE HALL OF THE GUEST HOUSE
  186. 8: NARRATION DESCRIBES JESSICA HAS “A GRUESOME CORPSE” (Ignore this for now, I fear a trick here)
  187. LIST HAS BEEN SHORTENED HARD. CHECKING NANJO’S TRUTHS:
  188. • No one examining a body on first twilight will reach a wrong conclusion
  189. • The six, Krauss, Natsuhi, Shannon, Gohda, Kumasawa are all dead
  190. • The mansion has been sealed
  191.
  192. In turn, this means all of their truths are also accurate, since they’re dead. This means that:
  193. • Dining hall is a locked room, and no one was hiding inside it.
  194. • Genji’s key was destroyed,
  195. • Deaths on first twilight were confirmed by their children
  196. • Shannon unlocked the door to Natsuhi’s room
  197. • All of the servants were together the whole time before 2nd twilight
  198. • Dining hall and Natsuhi’s room were locked.
  199. • Gohda unlocked the dining hall with a master key
  200. • No one has an alibi for the fourth twilight
  201. • Shannon’s key is destroyed
  202. • Kumasawa arrived after Gohda, and the six were lying in the room covered with blood
  203. • Only possible corpse that’s fake is Jessica’s, since Nanjo confirmed everyone else + he can’t be a culprit
  204. This means the only possible culprits are Jessica, Battler, George, Maria.
  205. ..but this means Gohda was truthful about the doors being locked. But all the possible servants are dead. ?????
  206. This means the only possible culprits are Jessica, Battler, George, Maria, ….and maybe Kanon? Would be the only way first/second twilight are locked rooms. Is there some trick with the way the red truth was spoken?
  207. What if: they didn’t die instantly, and one of the victims locked the room for some reason
  208. On first Twilight, Maria is the only one to confirm this. If lying, that makes it possible.
  209. Nanjo confirms Krauss/Natsuhi died instantly on second twilight. Not possible. Shannon confirms all servants were together before 2nd twilight, so not even Kanon could lock the room. Narration also specifies that “everyone headed to Krauss and Natsuhi’s rooms”, meaning culprit couldn’t have been hiding in the room. Even if Genji was somehow alive, his key is already destroyed. The room cannot be locked…
  210. Since I know we need 3 people minimum, I could probably just brute force it at this point. I want to actually try before I do that though.
  211.
  212. Let’s see if we can do something retarded with Kanon, since I can’t think of anything else. “treated” is the key word in his red truth. Bern doesn’t outright state that Kanon is dead, just that he is treated as being dead, meaning the game acts as if he’s dead. The thing is, the tale “treats” all the other victims as dead too, even if they could be faked. This means it’s possible that Kanon’s death is also faked.
  213. Alibi for the second night: Shannon specifically says that “all servants were together the whole time”, but this doesn’t mean they stayed at the same place the whole time. It’s possible that Kanon could still lock the door to Natsuhi’s room, as long as everyone else is there. Then things could fit if it goes like this: Culprit kills Krauss/Natsuhi, culprit calls Kanon to come and lock the door. Culprit closes the door and leaves. Kanon gives reason X to the servants to make them believe he needs to go lock the door to their room, and Kanon locks the door.
  214. This means first twilight can be lied about by Maria, and second twilight can still be a locked room by Kanon.
  215. We need George/Maria/Kanon at minimum, then. This way George/Maria confirm that the both of them can kill, and Maria can lie for instant death
  216. I’ll also add Jessica, because I already see a problem forming: Jessica confirms the cousins and Nanjo couldn’t have killed Gohda/Kumasawa, and also confirms the cousins couldn’t have killed Nanjo. If she’s lying then this works.
  217. Theory: George/Maria/Kanon/Jessica
  218. 1: Done by any of them, locked by above theory. Maria lies about them dying instantly.
  219. 2: Done by George/Maria/Jessica. Locked by above theory.
  220. 4: Kanon wins the duel
  221. 5/6: Done by any of them. Jessica lies that the cousins can’t kill them (Or George lies about the area being locked and Kanon snuck in? The fact that there’s a completely different idea is worrying.)
  222. 7: Done by any of them. Maria lies about the locked room, Jessica lies about the cousins not being able to kill Nanjo. George lies too
  223. 8: George/Maria lie about Jessica being dead, and lie about themselves being unable to kill.
  224. Result: Nope.
  225. Assume that Jessica is also confirmed dead by narration. What truths are also real, then?
  226. • 2nd twilight is a locked room
  227. • Natushi’s room is sealed
  228. • Everyone was outside to look for Kanon/Shannon
  229. • George couldn’t have murdered Shannon
  230. • Cousins and Nanjo can’t kill on the 5/6/7 twilights
  231. Well this means none of the possible culprits could perform the 5/6/7 twilights unless Kanon’s alive.
  232. This also makes it way too easy to bruteforce, as if it wasn’t simple enough.
  233. Idea: Kanon/George/Battler. Kanon will kill most of them, George can then kill Jessica fitting the “only kills kids” rule, and Battler can lie that it was impossible for them to kill Jessica.
  234. Theory: Kanon/George/Battler
  235. 1: done by Kanon, also locks the door
  236. 2: done by Battler, see locked by above theory
  237. 4: Done by Kanon.
  238. 5/6: Done by Kanon. George lies that the guesthouse was completely locked up. Battler lies that no master keys exist anymore aside from Gohda/Kumasawa’s.
  239. 7: Done by Kanon. George lies that Nanjo couldn’t be killed inside the guesthouse.
  240. 8: Maria ALSO confirms that the three of them couldn’t have killed her. George has no one to kill. Theory Broken.
  241. So then the only possibility is
  242. George/Maria/Battler/Kanon: Nope.
  243. Actually, this breaks my earlier rule of 3 people minimum. Since the only possible fake is Jessica, that’s the only area that we need to confirm if they’re fake. Assuming that Jessica is dead due to narrator, that removes that too. Let’s see if any of them work with Kanon, since we still need the doors to be locked. Not going to bother logically working these because they’re small.
  244. Battler/Kanon: nope
  245. George/Kanon: nope
  246. No point in testing Maria due to George’s truth. But with George and Kanon?
  247. George/Maria/Kanon: nope
  248. Also no point in testing Battler/Maria/Kanon due to George’s truth.
  249. Pretty sure these are all possible combinations of the four, aside from just Maria/George/Battler, but then I can’t figure out how the first/second twilights were done. Jessica can’t be dead, then.
  250. To take that another way, Jessica must be one of the culprits. Her death is faked, meaning narration’s “gruesome corpse” is referring to a fake corpse that looks like Jessica. (Not like it’s been denied that people could confuse the bodies with a double.) Otherwise one of the above should’ve worked. What does this mean?
  251. • 2nd twilight might not be a locked room (although Gohda’s proof goes against this, since even if Jessica lies about the windows, you can’t exit out them anyways)
  252. • Natsuhi’s room isn’t sealed (doesn’t matter, confirmed by Nanjo they’re dead.)
  253. • George could kill Shannon
  254. • Cousins could kill Nanjo/Gohda/Kumasawa
  255.
  256. George killing Shannon is an idea fits the “kid” thing (although tbh is my definition of that wrong? So far I’ve just been going with “anyone that isn’t an adult” but Shannon is 19 I’m pretty sure, that should make her adult?) Let’s go with that, and add Kanon for locked rooms again.
  257. Theory: George/Jessica/Kanon
  258. 1: Done by Kanon. Locked by Kanon.
  259. 2: Done by Jessica. Locked by Kanon.
  260. 4: Done by George. Jessica lies that George couldn’t have done it.
  261. 5/6: Done by Jessica/Kanon. George lies that guest house was completely locked.
  262. Stopping here because I just remembered Maria confirms Jessica’s death.
  263. This is a problem. I’ve already confirmed Jessica has to be one of the culprits, and Maria can’t kill because of George’s truth. We also need Kanon for locked rooms, but I already tried that 4man and it didn’t work.
  264. Get rid of Kanon then, and fuck it, assume there exists a method X by which the 2nd twilight could be a locked room.
  265. George/Maria/Jessica: Nope
  266. Ok, I’m legitimately running out of options with the only 4 that are possible. Bruteforcing.
  267. Battler/Jessica/George: Nope
  268. Battler/Maria/Jessica: nope
  269. Four cousins: Nope
  270. Battler/Maria/George: Nope
  271. I’ve fucked up hard somewhere. Pretty sure that’s all the possible combinations, and none of them work.
  272. Nanjo’s truths can’t be wrong. Everyone is dead except for the four cousins, and since that doesn’t work, Kanon’s alive. Go fuck yourself, Bern.
  273. I’ll take this moment to note that Genji’s death isn’t specified by Nanjo, but Kanon. If Kanon’s a culprit, Genji could still be alive but keyless. I have no clue if this helps at all. Makes it harder for me to check who it is, at least.
  274. Let’s check Nanjo’s confirmed list again:
  275. • No one will mistake a body, so all of twilight 1 is dead (Shannon’s dead too so not lying that kids confirmed their parents)
  276. • Krauss/Natsuhi dead
  277. • Shannon dead
  278. • Gohda/Kumasawa dead
  279. Assuming there’s no wordplay on twilight 8, Jessica’s dead too.
  280. George, Maria, Battler, Kanon.
  281. There HAS to be something here, or else twilights 5/6/7 are literally impossible.
  282. If none of the bodies are fake, then that breaks my previous idea of 3 people minimum, and possibly even two people minimum if Kanon killed everyone solo. How then? I thought up one possibility earlier, but it’s such a retarded stretch I’ll be amazed if this is true.
  283. Theory: Kanon
  284. 1: Killed everyone, locked the door himself
  285. 2: Kanon calls Krauss/Natsuhi in their room and somehow convinces them to lock the door and kill eachother. Absolutely retarded, but it works. No one states whether or not something suspicious was found in their room, it’s possible the weapon they used was hidden somewhere. This also still fits with Shannon saying all the servants were together. He wouldn’t need to leave the room simply to make a call
  286. 4: kills Shannon. Story “treats” Kanon as having been killed, but is actually alive along with his key.
  287. 5/6: Battler: No master keys exist except the two on the people that lie here. Impossible for Kanon to enter the guesthouse. Theory broken.
  288. The fuck am I missing? Only 3man/2man combos I haven’t tried involve Maria because George’s truth breaks that! It can’t be 1man because that’s only possible for Kanon, but that doesn’t work either! But I’m pretty sure I’ve tried all possible 2mans! WHAT AM I MISSING? GENJI?!
  289. Fuck it, I’m trying Genji. That’s the only possibility for why nothing works. I know Nanjo said none of the bodies can be mistaken, but can that be applied to the culprit lying about it?
  290. Battler/Kanon/Genji, this way Battler can lie about the keys so Kanon can break in.
  291. Theory: Battler/Kanon/Genji
  292. 1: Done by Battler. Kanon locks the door. Lies about Genji’s death.
  293. 2: The culprit of the twilight has definitely killed six people. Confirmed in red. Theory broken. I still wonder if this means killed 5 on first twilight, then same culprit kills a 6th. The context behind this red makes me doubt that though. Just in case I’m still going through with it. I assume Genji’s out of the dining hall before it’s sealed.
  294. 4: Done by Battler. He’s now killed 6 people. Kanon leaves
  295. 5/6: Done by Kanon, Battler lies about the keys.
  296. 7: Done by Kanon, locks up and leaves
  297. 8: Done by Kanon.
  298. Does it work?: Nope
  299. FUCK
  300. WHAT AM I MISSING?
  301. If the red truth isn’t playing around and everyone is dead on first twilight, then Genji’s not an option. But I’ve already tried everything else?!
  302. For shits and giggles I’m gonna try George solo. “Everyone is a kid in the eyes of Kinzo” or some bullshit. Nope.
  303. Don’t make me use another hint when Bern already wished that I would try without them….
  304. I reread eighth twilight to confirm the “gruesome corpse” line and found out that I can’t fucking read. One of the lines is George, Battler and Maria couldn’t have killed Jessica which not only confirms Jessica’s death by name, but also makes it so the 3 couldn’t have killed her, something I somehow missed. WELL THEN WHO THE FUCK DID?
  305.
  306. KANON IS THE ONLY OTHER OPTION GODAMMIT GO FUCK YOURSELF BERN
  307. But I’m 90% sure I’ve exhausted all possible options. Checking again what I’ve done so far involving him and the 3 others:
  308. Kanon/George/Battler
  309. George/Maria/Battler/Kanon
  310. Battler/Kanon
  311. George/Kanon
  312. George/Maria/Kanon
  313. Kanon
  314. Battler/Kanon/Genji
  315. Christ, I’m gonna have to bruteforce
  316. Genji/Kanon/George/Maria nope
  317. Maria/Kanon: nope
  318. Battler: Nope
  319. Maria/battler/kanon
  320. Genji/Kanon: nope
  321. Genji/Kanon/George/Battler: Nope
  322. All 5: Nope
  323. Genji/Kanon/George Nope
  324. Genji/Kanon/Maria nope
  325. Genji/Kanon/Maria/Battler nope
  326. George/Maria/Kanon: nope
  327. FUCK
  328. Ok, treat Kanon as dead then. That just leaves Battler/George/Maria. How the fuck then?
  329. Did I somehow misclick when checking a previous theory?
  330. Going back to twilight 1, Shannon confirms that the children confirmed their parent’s deaths. This should be true because Shannon’s dead. But is this a loophole because it’s not outright stating that the parents are dead? This leads to a bigger problem, then. None of those 5 have any purple truth restricting them, but then that makes things far too open. Which parents could it be? What if it’s just the mother? Do I just assume the culprit’s the whole family?
  331. Cool, let’s try Battler and his family then.
  332.
  333. AAAAAAAAAAAAND HOLY SHIT IT WORKS
  334. I STILL HAVE NO CLUE HOW
  335. BUT IT WORKS
  336. YES
  337. 3 HINTS
  338. FUCKTON OF TRIES
  339. AND 10 HOURS OF TRYING THIS ACCORDING TO INGAME TIME
  340. BUT I DID IT
  341. GGEZ PUSSYCAT
  342. YOUR PUZZLE IS NO GODDAMN GOOD
