  1. hahahaha okay okay okay let's break this down
  2.
  3. so it's about to you, not the mistreatment of animals as you tried to make your point earlier, but rather the (in your eyes) unnecessary death of them. well, in that case, let's pretend we lived in a utopia where no one cooked cows and ate them. what about the natural predator of the majestic cow, the carnivorous wolf. or the fox. or basically any carnivorous animal. those cows are going to be hunted anyway; they are going to die. why shouldn't we take advantage of that and use their delicious meat to feed ourselves?
  4.
  5. also you don't need marinate or seasonings on chicken. like i'm actually discussing this conversation with one of my closest friends just for his input and he had to say on the subject--
  6.
  7. "I am going to take points off for the fact that plain cooked chicken is repulsive, and eating half a pound of it for 10 meals straight? NO ONE would do that. If you want to make the argument that humans are not robots and wont' eat the same thing constantly, then you have to abide by it to.
  8.
  9. fuck you girl that's my dinner
  10. you can use me as a point if you want
  11. i eat that + mashed potatoes + like corn or beans.
  12. that's my dinner."
  13.
  14. his rather crass behavior aside, he is living proof that you're basically entirely wrong on that point. sorry. rice and beans doesn't stand up as a meal compared to chicken + mash + corn/beans. of course i haven't factored in the price/nutritional value of mash or corn but even if you just reduced to chicken + beans it's still vastly superior to beans + rice.
  15.
  16. i haven't been to macaroni grill in forever but i love that place. i get like a penne alfredo? no meats or anything i love simple pastas. alfredo sauce is the best. and heh you wouldn't generally get steaks at places that aren't explicitly steakhouses because they're not top-tier and i eat only the finest (okay not really but i mean if i'm going to a macaroni grill i'm gonna get a pasta). also again look at your center cut filet. that's an 8 oz pure beef steak i'm going to assume for $20? any more and that's hilariously overcharging. again, easily two meals if you wanted to split it up, effectively cutting the price by half, since the daily intake is something like 4-5 ozs of protein, which, a filet steak is basically pure protein. Soo $1 more than you, effectively. But nowhere near the excessive amount of money you imply that you save.
  17.
  18. Cows can basically eat anything you do realize. they have like eight stomachs or something ridiculous that can process anything they put in their systems. so no, i don't eat the food fit for human consumption, i eat the guy who can use his stomachs to process the food! i don't even eat stomachs, i eat his thighs and flanks and other meaty bits. And come on cows aren't THAT big. I'd over-estimate and say one single cow takes up the space necessary to grow six crops. a nice 2x3 area. one cow definitely feeds more people than six of any crop do.
  19.
  20. well yeah i mean i meant world hunger in this country i can't really think of a better way to emphasize widespread famine. but i maintain it'd be challenging, if not impossible, especially because humans have been omnivorous since the start of time. even if people changed overnight, what happens to all the cows? chickens? all the livestock we had, do we just let them go fend for themselves in the wild? that would have such a hilariously bad environmental effect i can't even visualize it.
  21.
  22. and remember was the wrong word. i guess i meant like remember when you learned about it. basically yeah the economy crashed badly and people killed themselves and there was widespread panic and it was bad. when people say money makes the world go round they aren't kidding. economy is so unimaginably important.
