Short story: The bitters
    The old and bitter couple lay dead on the ground covered in a white sheet. Rain poured over them soaking their lifeless bodies. They were never very nice to anyone in the building, or anyone at all for that matter, and a small part of us was happy they were gone. Small, and only for a moment.
Sadness filled us all as the sheets blows off to reveal the two holding hands. Thinking of the old angry couple, they were always holding hands or caught up win some kind of embrace. We all knew in that moment that they only loved one thing, each other. So much so that they had no love left for the rest of the world.
