Appearance: Ossian is a large Oread, standing in at 6 foot 8. He has earthy greyish green skin with curling tattoos of vines around his arms that gather on the back of his hand to swirls. He has colorful bright blue crystals sprouting from his shoulders that resemble rock candy.

Ossian was born on a small island tribe of Oread. This Island is named Pelburn and holds a tribal society who makes their home in a crater nearby a dormant Volcano. He grew up as a relatively happy child, with two brothers and two sisters. His parents worked as a miner and a gardener, providing for the town and raising their children. Ossian took after his mother's side and always had an affinity for nature. He would always watch and talk to the animals in the surrounding woods. As he got older, his affinity for nature became more intense and he had even begun to gain some traits of nature, such as claws of various animals he has seen, or vines from the trees. He had begun training with the warriors of the tribe to use these in battle if he needed to, and even started helping take care of invading monsters or hunting. He had become relatively popular in the town, never making many enemies and making many friends. One of his friends, Jylven, was a popular member of the tribe as well, and they naturally became fast friends. Jylven was another natural as well, although his specialty laid in nature magic rather than more physical aspects. Around the time of them coming to adulthood, the village chief was struck dead by old age after leading the tribe for nearly 2 centuries. Of course, a new chief was needed, so it was to be decided that all prospects for Chief would throw their hat in the ring, and leave on an adventure to see the world and gain knowledge and power. Then, they would return in a few years time to compete against eachother to become the next chief. Meanwhile, the town Shaman was to take over and hold down the fort. Ossian decided to try to become chief, but Jylven wanted to as well. Rather than hold ill will towards eachother, they made a sort of rivalry out of it, promising that one of them would become chief.
