Touhou Fighter Alpha: Chapter 1: battle with a ghost

As Dan woke up, he saw it was dark in the night. 'Huh?' Dan was confused in some levels. He had no idea where he is. Is it somewhere around Gouken's dojo? Dan wanted to be sure where he is, so he took a walk to the unknown forest. 'I don't know where I am, but I'll try to find something or someone for some help' As Dan has been walking about for sometime, he felt someone was stalking him. He took time and saw what looks like a little girl, licking her lips. Dan sat down and made contact with the little girl. 'Hey there, are you lost or some-' As Dan was trying to ask her, she was suddenly making a big chomp near his face, making Dan yelp in fear. 'Ahhhh!'

'You look tasty human' She said as she try to tackle Dan. He held off her to keep from getting his face bit off. "Wait a minute. I've heard about this before. There was a world where they may appear as little girls, but are demons on the inside. Could I be in? No, it's only a legend" Dan was having thoughts.

Dan karate flipped this demon from behind. The little demon went off and charged with a insane laughter, but as she got closer, Dan smiled to where she got to the distance where he wanted her to be. He had his hand charged and suddenly, 'Shin Ku! Gadouken!' Dan shot his large gadou at the demon, pushing her back to a nearby tree, knocking her down.

Dan ran off before she could get up again. 'Okey. No doubt about it, I'm in Gensokyo. I've read stories about this world. If this is where I fell to, then I should of been to the other side of the border, but why am I not there? I'll have to find the shrine maiden and ask her I'm stuck here and see if she can bring me home' Dan had those thoughts. Dan continued at the unknown forest, walking is all he can do, since he doesn't know, or where he is.

Suddenly he saw a mini blast coming this way. 'Whaooo!!' Dan dodged it. Dan looked up and saw a little snow hair girls in some sort of green school girls uniform, carrying a small ghost and a bubble gum hair woman, wearing a kimono. Those were Youmu Konpaku and Yuyuko Saigyuouji As they closed in on Dan, he gave them grumpy look. 'Hey, were you girls trying to shoot me?!' Dan yelled at them. 'We thought you were some youkai or something. But now we see you're human, so what are you doing here anyway?' Youmu quoted. 'I don't know. All I know is that I'm not from Gensokyo. I'm trying to find my way to the Hakurei Shrine-'

Dan got cut off as this dead hair girl raised her at him. 'Wait..hold up, if you're not from Gensokyo, how do you know about this world, let alone the Hakurei Shrine?' Yuyuko asked. Dan signed as he lowered his head, then raised his head back up. 'I read a book about this world. My master used to tell me stories about this world. I didn't believe him at first, until I woke up here and suddenly I was attack by a youkai' Dan explained. The two were surprised that he knew about Gensokyo from his world. 'Okey outsider, I'll help you on you're journey' the snow white hair said with a hint of promise.

Dan smiled and walked up to them. 'When I get back, I can't wait to tell Sakuya about where I fell from. She'll be happy that I didn't disappear like Ryu and the other guys that-' Dan was interrupted as he found a sword near his face, making Dan jump in fear. 'You know Ryu, the king of darkness!?' Youmu yelled. Dan was was gasping as the samurai sword was almost close to him. 'Whao whao! King of darkness? What do you want to know about R-' Dan was interrupted again as Youmu swing her sword like a slice, while Dan dodged. Dan watched as the nearby tree was split in half. 'Tell me his weakness! We can put can end to this demon! His day of bringing fear to Gensokyo will be no more!' Youmu stated. But Dan brought his tough guy act on as he confronted Youmu and raised his fist. 'I don't know anything about his weakness! You can't just swing a sword at someone, just to get the answers out of someone' Dan replied to her.

Yuyuko stood back and only watch to see a fight waiting. 'Oh goody, a fight. Go Youmu, go!' Yuyuko cheered.
Dan and Youmu got to their stances, they started off as they race while being faced to faced. As they stopped here, Youmu started off swing her sword at Dan, but he got quick to dodging her strikes. Dan went in for a counter has he gave her a punch to her face, pushing her to the ground. Dan shake his hand from getting his fist hurt. 'Ow.ow.ow.ow.ow' as Dan was done healing his hand, he focus back to the fight when suddenly, Youmu came in and slashed at Dan's chest. 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!' Dan screamed in pain as Youmu continued to cut at his flesh with blood gushed out.

Dan would of been running for his life, but inside of his spirit was burning for the first time. As Youmu was waiting for her next swing, until Dan Suddenly used his hand and balled his fist and used it to block the striking sword. Because of the block, Youmu's body started to feel her shaking uncontrollably. Yuyuko's jaw dropped to see a human with that kind of ability to stop a weapon with just their fist. As Youmu stopped shaking, she turned Dan and got back to position to continue the fight. Dan gave her a cocky grin with a tear in his eye from using his fist to stop the blade.

Youmu then pulled out a spell card. Her aura glowed when she pulled the card out. Dan cocked his head in confusion what she pulled out what he thought was a playing card for.

Ghost Sword "Fasting of the Young Gaki"

As the spell was active, she had two swords out and started spinning to a tornado and started shooting purple blade shots at Dan. Dan started running from the shots. Dan screamed in panic to running for his life. Yuyuko laughed at the scared human like a child watching a clown. They also did not know that Dan didn't just read the book of Genoskyo about it's history, he also learned about the battles they do. Dan also knew about danmakus and their powers and movements. He learned some formed of strategy after reading about them. Dan tried acting scared so he can throw them off guard.

As Dan jumped to a nearby tree. This gave Dan a chance to run back to her, as he grazes at the danmakus. As Dan was getting closer, Dan has a slightly charged gadouken ready. 'Gadouken!' At the right distance, he shot it at Youmu, breaking her spell. As Youmu landed her feet, she wielded herself back up. 'I don't have time for this! I'm just gonna end this here now!' In her position she charged her aura when a sudden burst. "Human Sign: Slash of the Present"

Yuyuko started clapping her hands like a child waiting for entertainment. 'Ohh oh oh! The big finish!' Yuyuko cheered. As Youmu used her ability, she started moving faster than the eye can see. She was moving so fast, Dan can't keep up with the her movements. Dan closed his eyes and took a deep breath. This confused Yuyuko for what Dan was doing at a time like this. She thought that he gave up fighting. But Dan was meditating, concentrating with his strong mind.

As waited, Youmu want for the ultimate strike. As she went in to do so, in a quick flash, she looked back to see Dan is still fine. No bruises, no wounds. He's still fine. 'What is this?! Why is he still standing? Why is this human still unharm?' The half ghost spirit was surprised at him. Dan turned around with his cocky grin and turned to her and showed her he has her kitanas in his hands. 'Looking for these?' Dan joked. Youmu saw that she was unarmed. She took a step back from him, baffled in ways she has never been before. No opponent she faced has ever disarmed her before. 'No way! That's impossible!' Youmu yelled.

Dan then planted the swords to the ground and walked straight to her. 'Something tells me you know nothing about what we humans from the outside world are capable of' Dan stated as he got close to her. 'Wait! Don't come any closer!' Youmu begged. Yuyuko looked unamused from her servant Youmu. 'What? You fought for centuries, but can't fight without your swords?' Yuyuko said disappointed. Youmu has fought for many years and even trained in one point, but she has never without her swords. She has never fought or trained in hand to hand combat.

As she tried to run, she was to late as Dan grabbed her. 'Here's something that will teach you a lesson' Dan quoted as he dropped and suddenly gave her a punch to her abdomen and then, 'Hissho!' as Dan started beating her in all places of her body until he finished with a Koryuken. 'Buraiken!' After that she fell and hit the ground, knocked out.

Dan turned to meet with the princess of the netherworld. Dan cracked his fingers while Yuyuko got her fan ready to face each other for battle.
