  46. *sigh* Hoopa Express transport does it again, but no complaints. After Jax figures out where we are he sees some Grunts at the top of the stairs. The Grunts are with that unknown fellow from the beach, he tells them to deal with us by using the Light of Ruin (!) Jax sends Staraptor up to stop them but is dealt a serious blow :/ and the blast has destroyed the staircase too. But an entrance into the ruins has been created now, Jax says we should go in and find another way to the top. He didn't bring any other Pokémon so he'll stay out here to heal yours. If we find Staraptor we'll let him know.
  47.

  49.
  50. That Abra near the entrance is our way back to Dehara City. Head all the way east to pick up Zygarde cells #51 and decipher another tablet message:
  51.
  52. SWITCH BELOW
  53. THEN AVOIDING
  54. THE DUSCLOPS
  55. IS THE KEY.
  56.
  57. Huh, alright. Head all the way west (use the Dowsing Machine to find a hidden Dusk Ball in the upper left corner) and follow the path to an ancient switch you should flip. Go north from the entrance then northwest to flip switch #2. Come back down, go east then south to a Max Repel. Go northeast, follow the path to switch #3. Return to the main corridor, go west then smash the rocks blocking access to a north passage...it leads to TM31 Brick Break. Back to the west passage, follow it to a ladder. Get ready because as soon as we reach the next floor...
  58.
  59. -B2F-
  60.
  61. ...we're stopped by a guardian in the form of a Claydol!

  67. Claydol - The Clay Doll Pokémon
  68. Level: 46
  69. Type: Ground/Psychic
  70. Ability: Levitate
  71. Moves Known: Body Press, Stored Power, Cosmic Power, Power Split
  72. Item Held: Leftovers
  73.
  74. After we defeat it, Claydol goes on to create a exit for us. There's a hidden Full Heal here. Follow Claydol out onto the slope and circle round to the south side for another entrance where we see Claydol again. A cutscene comes up:
  75.
  76. That unknown Grunt and his subordinates are now aware of us making our way up there, but he's not worried. He sends them to stall us.
  77.
  78. -B2F-
  79.
  80. There's a Dusk Stone in the upper left corner and a sliding tile puzzle of Hoopa ready to be solved. After getting that puzzle done continue into the next room and climb the ladder.
  81.
  82. -B1F-
  83.
  84. We see Claydol making its way out. That item almost hidden by the south wall is Odd Incense. Once outside head up to pick up Zygarde cells #50 then southeast to see Claydol at the next entrance. The 2 Grunts have noticed Claydol and they try to stop it when Claydol appears by them, but the Grunts fail. When we reach the entrance we see Staraptor on the right and soon Jax joins us, he heals Staraptor and tells us that we're one floor away from facing the Shadows. If you need to heal you'll find him on the western slope. Inside the next area we're instructed to defeat the Guardians of the Portals in order to move forward. That's a Spell Tag in the corner. There won't be a chance to heal in between the Portal battles, so prep up one more time if you need to and then let's get to work!

  111. Phew, back to back battles against the Legendary Beasts? Damn, but that was fun :) the portal closes and you can step on the square tile to move up. The 2 Grunts are still out here and still hurting from their tangle with Claydol, but just before we can enter the chamber ahead they spring up to stop us.
  112.
  113. Shadow Grunt
  114. - Lv39 Cofagrigus [Ghost]
  115. - Lv38 Sableye [Dark/Ghost]
  116. Prize: P1664
  117.
  118. Grunt B also wants to fight but Jax shows up in time to keep the Grunts busy while we go on ahead. He'll still heal your team if you need that. In the chamber there's a hidden Nugget and in the corridor below the ladder there's a hidden Zinc. Then we reach the lowest area and two other Grunts grab and bring us forward so we can watch the big show:
  119.
  120. Ivory tells Zeph to proceed with the unbinding. Zeph asks where Marlon is but Ivory doesn't know. Zeph notes that Marlon has been acting a bit odd lately, but anyway all the work that the Shadows have been doing is about to pay off and Zeph is certain that their past error will be undone. He lets out the Legendary Birds and brings out the Prison Stone, the seal can now be undone. He ends up with the Prison Bottle which should unleash the dark force...but nothing happens despite the Bottle being open. And just in time, here comes the former mysterious Grunt now in a new outfit - meet Aklove! He applauds Zeph for going through the unbinding process all proper but the problem is Zeph doesn't have the specific Pokémon which that dark power belonged to. Zeph tries to get rid of him by sending Houndoom but Aklove has Hoopa on his side and Houndoom goes away via portal. This makes Zeph assume that Aklove is the one who kept rescuing us but Aklove confirms that only Hoopa did all that rescuing because we are its true Trainer (!) Aklove just wants to get rid of us and then become Hoopa's new Trainer. Zeph yields and lets Aklove finish the unbinding. Zeph apologises to Ivory for failing to bring some people back, but he hasn't given up and believes there is another way to do it. In an instant Unbound Hoopa is here! We then find out that Aklove is a descendant of the Kalosian King from the Great War and he isn't planning to teaming up with Zeph because he's got his own goal of making up for what the King failed to do: win the war and bring the Ultimate Weapon over from Kalos to ruin Borrius. What about Zeph, what has been his goal all along? He reveals that he wanted his son back. Aklove's loyal Grunts bring us to him and he tells Zeph that he has spoken with Fey, she will allow Aklove to take over her branch of the Shadows as long as he gives her a sample of Hoopa for research. Hostile take over of Zeph's organisation and now is Aklove's chance to get rid of us. Hoopa then summons a Legendary opponent for us, here we go!

  128. Type: Fire/Flying
  129. Ability: Pressure
  130. Moves Known: Sacred Fire, Brave Bird, Earthquake, Recover
  131. Item Held: Sacred Ash
  132.
  133. That's not enough for Aklove, he has Hoopa summon Ho-Oh's counterpart!

  141. Type: Psychic/Flying
  142. Ability: Pressure/Multiscale
  143. Moves Known: Air Slash, Toxic, Earthquake, Roost
  144.
  145. The two Legendary Pokémon aren't enough to stop us so Aklove decides to seal us inside a Cube, compliments of Fey who has modified it so that organic matter can exist in it (!) Zeph can't believe this, because he invented the Cube. We can't flee or try to attack Aklove, he reveals that he knows where Mom is and if we try anything, well...so into the Cube Space we are sent!

  150.
  151. Whoa...look at this place. I remember seeing a clip of this some time last year and I wondered what was up with that. In the previous version we would've been killed and sent to the Judgement Zone instead. So what's worse, being dead or being sealed away indefinitely...? No access to our Pokémon or anything except Saving, our Trainer Card and Settings. Head north and find a platform occupied by Marlon and our Dad Aros! What the...and he's good buddies with Marlon too! Unreal. All those items flying around aren't for display, Aros tells us to watch out as one flies past us - they are items from other Trainers. Makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that Aros says he's been trapped here for 16 years! He figures out that we've met Hoopa, whom he tried to protect by tossing away its Poké Ball but that didn't work out. Marlon tries to explain to him why the Shadow Warrior project has continued to go on all this time and in the end it's all Fey's fault, she's also the reason why Aros is here too. She's the one that Aros confronted at the end of that cutscene on the bridge, Fey had set her eyes on Hoopa and wanted it but Aros sent it away...so Fey sealed him here. All along people thought Aros was dead, but it's not like this is any better because we are just data here with no idea what has happened to our real bodies. Suddenly something weird happens to us, Aro explains that it happens when the Cube is about to start the sorting process and we'll end up in another sector. Marlon asks him if there really isn't a way out of here, Aros would've left this place if there was a way...then he notices our Cube is a Cube V3 and Marlon confirms that he also has one. Aros thinks he could get us out of here, we give him our Cubes so that he can try to open them here and perhaps that could make them force us out. Marlon promises Aros that he'll put an end to the Shadow Warrior project. Until someone on the outside can release him, Aros can't leave with us. He tasks us with helping Marlon, adding that the Shadow Warriors are sensitive to light so we must expose them to it in order for their souls to be put to rest. We must save Hoopa too.
  152.
  153. Out of Cube Space we go and we appear near that other entrance to Cinder Volcano, which was previously blocked by a Grunt. Check that your team and everything is okay then head into Cinder Volcano so we can help Marlon.

  194. We arrive just in time to see Marlon confronting Crater Town Gym Leader Véga, Marlon can't believe he isn't with the Shadows anymore and Véga can't believe Marlon's alive. Marlon demands to know where he put the Shadow Warriors and is told that they've been moved. Véga got a fine offer from Fey so he's part of her crew now. He won't let Marlon destroy the Shadow Warriors, not now when Aklove has his own organisation up and running - The Light of Ruin. Just before Véga and that Grunt from 1F can team up against Marlon we show up to even the odds. A tag team match with Marlon as our partner? Pay-per-view main event right there :)

  230. Véga orders the other Grunts to return to their new base, they are done here. As the Grunts leave, Marlon and Véga continue their battle elsewhere and that lets us continue exploring. On the right are Zygarde cells #17 and a hidden Red Shard. That entrance on the right leads to a chamber where we find a Heat Rock. The left side chamber has TM76 Stealth Rock and the remains of a Shadow Warrior, remove the cloak and lay it to rest. Back to the main area and head south, use the Dowsing Machine on the way to locate a hidden Max Revive. In the southwest corner is a Lava Cookie.
  231.
  232. -B2F-
  233.
  234. We see Marlon threatening to throw Véga into lava if he doesn't tell him where those Shadow Warriors are. Véga instead reminds Marlon about what happened here: the monster that the Grunts had to face last time we were here is in the lava resting...but what if someone were to wake it up and control it? He takes out the Red Orb, which he got from Aklove, and summons Groudon in its Primal Form! Véga then makes his escape after ordering Groudon to cause a tremor here, threatening to bury us alive, and so we're left to deal with a very upset Legendary! A wall of rocks falls between us and Marlon, he's the one who must face Groudon using our Pokémon. Really? :/ I don't know about this...in the previous version we did the battling, why was that changed to this?? As Marlon we can use Items like normal but can't choose which moves to use, just be aware of that.

  245. Moves Known: Lava Plume, Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Ancient Power
  246. Item Held: Red Orb
  247.
  248. Groudon returns to slumbering under the lava. Marlon sends out Krookodile to break down the rock wall and gives back our Pokémon. He is grateful for the help but he prefers to work alone on the next task. He has to get to Zeph and then find the Light of Ruin's new base. If we were to go to the Shadow Base in Frozen Heights, Zeph wouldn't agree to us working together so Marlon urges us to stay away. But the main Mission update says:
  249.
  250. Location: Shadow Base
  251. - Return to the Shadows' base in Frozen Heights and find Zeph!
  252.
  253. Can't be helped. Use the Dowsing Machine on the west side of the room to locate a hidden Occa Berry, a hidden Dire Hit and pick up a Star Piece from the upper left corner. On the east side there's an Elixir and a hidden Ultra Ball by that small rock in the upper right. Nothing else we can do here for now so exit and, well, head back home :)
  254.
  255. You can stop by Prof. Log's Lab for some new dialogue now that the dark force has been unleashed. Gotta find Jax and save Borrius. Shouldn't be a problem, I think. Get on the ice and slide to the upper left corner, back to where it all began eh?

  261.
  262. Follow the corridor east (nothing we can do in the area where we were held captive until we have that Clearance Level 2 Key Card), you'll find Marlon's uniform. Put it on, we really don't have a choice :P neat threads though. Move up and enter that small room on the left to get a Hyper Potion. Speak to the Scientist and learn that a red-haired fellow forced his way in here. Axelrod? On the left side of the room is a Level 1 Key Card. Then head for the elevator up top and select B1F.
  263.
  264. -B1F-
  265.
  266. After opening the door check that plant on the left for a hidden Pearl. Enter the room on the right, there's hidden Calcium and the Level 2 Key Card is on the table. Go back to the 1F area where we started this game, open the door and pick up that Metagrossite/Tyranitarite/Garchompite. Return to B1F and reach the east end of the corridor, there's a hidden Dusk Ball by them boxes. In the northwest room is a Reaper Cloth. The western room has Zygarde cells #52. We'll need the Level 3 Key Card to access that southwest room. But the south room only needs the Level 1 Key Card, go in to pick up Protein just under the left side table and another Dusk Ball from the upper left area. The Grunt at the right side table will ask for a battle, sure why not. You can fight him as many times as you like.

  286. - Interesting to see that each Pokémon that's in battle gets a Sp. Attack boost. How is she doing that?
  287.
  288. She'll heal your team afterwards. On the south side is the lab where Hoopa sent us, the same lab where Shadow Warriors are created :| thanks science. There's an Up-Grade in the bottom left corner, Zygarde cells #53 in the upper left and the Level 3 Key Card on the opposite side. Exit the lab and head up to try out the new Key Card. TM41 Torment acquired. Back to B1F's southwest room to pick up some shades then off to the very bottom.
  289.
  290. -B3F-
  291.
  292. As we go west we'll see the red-haired person unlock the door and proceed. Moments later we find out that person is Marlon (!) Wow, where's our Rival for this major reveal? Follow after Marlon and catch the conversation in progress: Zeph is telling Marlon that the Grunts have been ordered by Fey to join the Light of Ruin, so it's a surprise that any Grunts and Scientists were allowed to remain. But Marlon understands how bad the situation is now, and as he goes on we enter the room to surprise the two of them. As expected Zeph isn't too thrilled to see us, thinking that we're a spy sent by Aklove who LOOKS like us. That's going too far, Boss!

  315. Zeph can't believe that it's really us, and Marlon has to remind him that we're not the enemy here. He then adds that going forward he will be in charge of what remains of the Shadows. Zeph is fine with that and tells him that the scientists are working on locating the LoR's new base and once they find it that's when an attack can be done on it. Aklove is away with Fey as she studies Hoopa, so attacking the new base as soon as possible while Aklove is absent must be done. Marlon wants to bring us along on this mission, at first Zeph isn't too sure about that, but Marlon tells him about how we were both trapped in the Cube, meeting our father Aros and the promise made to him. This is shocking news to Zeph but he trusts in Aros' skills and believes that he'll find his way out of the Cube somehow. Marlon then tells us what the purpose of the Shadows is *cue that flashback sequence music*:
  316.
  317. ...19 years ago...
  318.
  319. Marlon and Ivory travelled from Hoenn to visit Zeph just after his son died. It is revealed that Marlon and Ivory also had a son who passed away, they tried to bring him back to life but failed. Ivory gave birth to twins about a year ago and they were being taken care of by Prof. Log. Well, well. Zeph tells them that another friend of his (Aros) also lives in Frozen Heights, a friend who helped him form the Shadows. Shocking. Marlon is aware of Axelrod's search for his parents and regrets leaving him and Melony behind. Zeph continues the story, saying he made Ivory and Marlon an offer. They were skeptical about it at first but they eventually agreed to it. The three of them couldn't do very much on their own so later on they joined up with the Science Society (to form Cube Corp.) and that made the research proceed a lot quicker. Zeph was the CEO but he stepped down and Fey, the leader of the Science Society, took over. Zeph wanted to focus more on his revival plan, so after stepping down he formed the Shadow branch under Cube Corp. to work on that plan. In the next scene we see them conduct the first trial in the creation of a human-Pokémon hybrid a.k.a Shadow Warrior! Zeph is almost blasted with fire by the creature but Marlon steps in to control it with the help of a control gauntlet that Zeph has. A rough start but Zeph believes that they are in the right direction. Over the years more Shadow Warriors were created but Zeph, Marlon and Ivory could not revive their children using Shadow Warriors. So they decided to try another plan which involved bringing the Ultimate Weapon to Borrius and use it instead. From there they went on to research Hoopa and the dark force...and the rest is history.
  320.
  321. Zeph apologises to us, he hadn't known that we're Aros' son otherwise he wouldn't have reacted the way he did when we arrived here. A Scientist comes into the office to report that the remnants of Hoopa's portal energy have been found in Vivill Town, possibly that's the new LoR base. It's time to move, before he leaves Marlon requests that we don't tell Axelrod about him, at least not yet. He also lets us keep the uniform. In order to reach Vivill town we will need to head northeast from Dehara City and Surf is required. After Zeph and Marlon exit, use the Dowsing Machine to find a Houndoomite in this room and then leave the base.
  322.
  323. By the way, back in Dresco Town there is that old man who lives with the "Save 100 times" Mission guy. He told us about Aros and was hoping someone would let him know what happened to him. Go back and talk to the old man again now that we know, he'll reward us with a Fairy Gem. Now we can finally challenge Gym #5, get ready.

  327.
  328. Leader: Galavan - The Brains Behind the War Machine
  329.
  330. I saw a few comments from people about this Gym in the previous version, mainly concerning the puzzle haha so maybe we might need to roll up our sleeves for this one. The Gym Guide tells us that Electric and Steel-types are used here, that's not a bad combo. The floor is magnetised, which will keep any Electric or Steel-types in the air so Ground-type moves won't be of much help. The puzzle involves electric barriers which need to be lowered in order for us to reach Galavan. Fair enough. Go to the east side and stand on the left switch. In the next area go southwest then north to another switch which takes us to a Magnet. Back to the previous area and move up to meet Ezra.

  404. So the unidentified man we've been seeing in the PokéCenters is this guy, who would've thunk it? Initially I thought maybe he's the Champion, since he had some knowledge about the previous Gym Leaders and in most games we meet the region's Champion at some point on our journey. In the previous version this would be a Single Battle, not anymore. It's a Double Battle for that Badge #5 and then we can finally Surf!

From the bottom right corner of that unfrozen patch of floor, slide down to the southeast to pick up TM69 Rock Polish. Return to that unfrozen floor and slide onto the ice from the upper left, then down and all the way to the northwest side. Don't smash the rock yet if you want that item directly above you (PP Up) and that's an Elixir on the left. After those items make your way back to the unfrozen floor and slide off from the south, once you reach the rock, don't smash it, slide to the right then down, right, up, left and now you can get the hidden Big Pearl. We'd have to fall from 1F to reach that TM ball so don't worry about it for now. Exit Icicle Cave.

Carry on east to pick up Zygarde cells #37 and then south to that sad Clown who gives us TM18 Rain Dance. For a moment I thought he's just some dodgy fellow watching Nicole xD maybe if this was Pokémon Clover that would've been the case :) let's go back to the stranded Hiker and hear his story: he got to this island by digging through a hidden tunnel but his Graveler learned a new move and forgot Dig in the process. Happens all the time xD be ready because once we go into the tunnel there's no going back until we reach the other end. But first, we gotta prove to him that we're good to go down there. This is for Mission 34 Island Survivor. Please note that the regular Trainer document is missing information about Finn so I'll leave his Levels blank.

  961. Damn it's dark here, Flash won't help :/ Finn tells us that there's a ladder around here somewhere. Terrific, who knows how long we'll be here. On the bright side at least our character isn't claustrophobic. Behind us is Chansey the healer and respawn point. Move a few steps south until you can head left. Continue west until you see a northward path, follow it all the way to a rock you must smash to reach the Aggronite above it. Return to the corridor going south from Chansey and carry on along it all the way to a rock that's got a hidden Luminous Moss. Just before we reached that rock there was a northward path we passed, move along that path until you can go west. We get to an intersection where there's a sudden quake and we're attacked by a wild Diglett. After defeating it go south all the way until another quake stops us, this time a wild Golem appears. It gets an Aura stat boost. Continue on the path to reach Zygarde cells #38. Back track to the northward turn that we just passed before getting to the cells, go along it until you are at a junction. The south way leads to a breakable rock and a Max Repel. Go north and then east all the way to our next battle - a Dugtrio stops us. All its stats get a boost. That's the last wild attack, continue along this path all the way to the exit ladder. In the next chamber Finn has Graveler use Rock Smash to make an opening and we are finally out. Guess what the reward for this is? Yup, TM28 Dig! Finn had it all along xD. Damn it Finn. Mission 34 completed. The opening leads to the KBT Expressway, we are next to the Ghost Gem Family member.
  962.
  963. /TEHL TOWN\
  964. - On the right side near the KBT Expressway entrance: Nugget.
  965.
  966. /ROUTE 10\
  967. - Southeast side: Zygarde cells #35. Head west to climb a set of stairs and cross a bridge to pick up a Green Shard. South from there is a Black Belt who'll give us a Lv2 Macho Brace. He can upgrade it if you give him Everstones (e.g. Lv3 for 3 Everstones and so on). Carry on west to an island where you'll find a Dawn Stone and southwest from the island is a hidden Max Elixir.
  968.
  969. /ROUTE 9\
  970. - In the area after the Underground Passage house, surf across the pond and check the bottom left corner for TM77 Flame Charge, hidden by the treetop.
  971. - On the island in the middle of the lake: TM30 Shadow Ball and Zygarde cells #32.
  972.
  973. /FROST MOUNTAIN\
  974. - 1F southeast side: There's an Aggron here, if you get close to it Aggron will blow you away with a big roar. Very random, but make a note of this for later on. Climb the stairs and continue to the upper southeast area for a King's Rock.
  975.
  976. /FALLSHORE CITY\
  977. - Surf east from the KBT Expressway entrance, there's a hidden Fast Ball here. Surf to the west side, stay on the cliff all the way to the end where you'll find a hidden Shed Shell.
  978. - Behind the building southwest from the KBT Expressway entrance: Silk Scarf.
  979. - East side of the beach: head up the hill, you'll find a Steelixite in the northeast area.
  980.
  981. /ROUTE 11\
  982. - Now you can reach this route's Raid Den, just to the right from the Cliff Cave entrance. There's a hidden Iapapa Berry next to the route signboard just outside Epidimy Town.

  986.
  987. /THUNDERCAP MT.\
  988. - 1F southwest area: TM24 Thunderbolt.
  989. - 2F southeast area: Max Ether. Past that is a ladder in the corner, it takes us to that section of 3F which has the tablet. We'll find an Electirizer in the bottom right corner. In the northeast area is the other puzzle we needed to solve. Down below I've numbered the boulders so that you know which ones I'll be referring to in the solution:
  990.
  991. (12) (05)
  992. (11)(10) (04)
  993. (09) (03)
  994. (07)(08) (02)
  995. (06) (01)XX
  996.
  997. XX represents our starting point. Push 03 to the left, 04 up, 02 down then 03 down. 09 to the left, 08 down, 10 up. Now you can move 07 to the left and smash the rocks so that 11 is free for the pressure plate. After that go back south then southwest and jump down the ledge to tackle the remaining puzzle on the west side. Nothing much to it, just smash the rocks and push the boulder to the plate. The electric barrier in the northwest disappears and we can go on to collect a Manectite. There's also that ladder which we pass on the way to getting the Manectite, use it and on 4F surf east and go all the way until you have to go north. Use the Dowsing Machine to find a hidden Nugget in that corridor. Turn right then head south to meet a guy who saw a mysterious yellow Pokémon on a ledge around here. He needs a special machine to help him dig through that wall and reach the ledge. We can make a note of this guy, we'll be back to help him once we get that ADM. Go all the way north, we'll end up in an area where we meet Milo, a boy in a Pika-costume. He got lost so we must take him with us to the exit. This is Mission 75 The Wayward Kid.

Exit the mountain and go back to Dehara. We have the Great Desert to prepare for now and who knows what surprises are in store for us there.
  1071.
1072. Just before we enter the eastern Gate we're stopped by Axelrod. This guy misses all the action and wasn't even there for the biggest reveal so far, damn. He made it to the Ruins of Void but it was too late. Arthur arrives, he's looking for Jax and we tell him about what happened at the Ruins. Arthur suspects that the Light of Ruin may have taken Jax with them to Vivill Town, and after hearing all this Axelrod decides that he'll head there too. This whole dark force business started with him, so send your angry Tweets to @KB3 xD. According to that Ruin Maniac by the entrance there is quite the treasure in the burial chamber but nobody has succeeded in fully exploring the tomb. Hmm, the challenge would be worth accepting if there wasn't a trio of Ruin Maniacs inside keeping us from checking the place out. One of the Maniacs is occupied with the tile puzzle which unlocks the door to the rest of the tomb so just make a note of this place for later. There's a hidden Relic Copper here.

1429. The guard outside the warehouse is a LoR Grunt who isn't exactly worried about two Trainers showing up. He speaks with his superior via his communicator to let her know that we have arrived, but because we didn't come with an army, there's no need for backup to be sent. Then there's a brief scene showing a large ship arriving and with the help of several bombs the ship makes its way through the eastern side of town! What the... Ohh, so THAT'S the backup. We see a group of LoR Grunts on stand by inside, they're ready to fight the intruders...until they see the intruders are Shadow Warriors! In no time the Grunts are sent running. Back outside Axelrod sends out his Starter to knock out the Grunt so we can enter the warehouse.

On the left side are stairs leading to the now flooded Research Lab, this is where we find a warp panel under the boulder in the southwest corner that sends us to B5F. Marlon and Zeph are there, unable to progress into the Command Centre because of a door which requires a 6-letter password. The Scientist trying to unlock the door has figured out one of the letters, but we have to find the other 5 first. Zeph is certain that one of Aklove's people knows the password. Marlon tells us to watch out for the Shadow Warriors, they'll attack us on the spot. But you guys brought them here! Return to B1F and use the bottom left warp panel.

1510. He gives us password letter K and reveals that one of the Admins is a woman. Ignore that upper left warp panel, it leads to the Break Room and a warp panel connected to the upper right panel on B1F (the one Axe used). Go for the bottom right warp panel, it takes us to a tiny B1F room which has a hidden PP Up and a warp panel that sends us to the southeast room on B3F. That Grunt from outside is here and so is another Shadow Warrior. We save the Grunt from certain death and he has a change of heart towards us, enough for him to tell us password letter V. That item on the right is a Sachet. Back to B1F for the bottom right panel.

1531. Use the panel on the far right to reach a room with a hidden Gardevoirite. Back to B1F and then the door on B5F. We got password letters O, A, K, V and L...we rearrange them a bit and get AKLOV. Input that and the Scientist throws in the E. Bingo. We bust into the room to meet one of the Admins - Ivory (!?) Damn. She joined Aklove after Zeph gave up at the Ruins of Void and she accepted Aklove's big offer: join the LoR to destroy Borrius and then have a chance to use the Ultimate Weapon, which will be powered by the Shadow Warriors that the LoR have obtained. But if Borrius is destroyed, Ivory's home and family will be gone too...she counters this by revealing that Aklove said he'd protect Ivory's children until this is done. Zeph orders the Shadow Warrior which they brought along to apprehend Ivory but a portal opens up to send the Shadow Warrior away and look who's back just in time, Aklove and Unbound Hoopa. His trips to Hoenn and Kalos in search of the Ultimate Weapon have been stopped because thanks to the explosive entrance by the ship earlier, the Research Lab was destroyed and so no more Ultimate Weapon data. However Ivory and her team learned enough to confirm that the Ultimate Weapon is not at its original location. Good news for Aklove, making him more determined to obtain that Ultimate Weapon. Then Axelrod arrives, as if things couldn't even more explosive, he's the one that Zeph asked Marlon about earlier - the person who has the Prison Bottle. But Axe wants to know what happened to his parents, he won't Zeph the Bottle until he gets answers. He also gets in Aklove's face and Aklove almost has Hoopa send Axe away when Ivory intervenes to remind Aklove about the promise....and the floodgates swing wide open when Aklove puts 2 and 2 together to reveal Ivory and Marlon as Axelrod's parents. Marlon tries to explain things to Axe but that doesn't go too well and Aklove has had enough, he orders Hoopa to send Axe away through a portal. Marlon is sent away too, both sent to a safe location just like Ivory wanted.
  1532.
1533. Zeph attempts to leave and he also gets sent away, going to the same place where his Houndoom went. You have a chance now to check your team and prepare if you need to, then step up to take on Aklove.

  1559. -----------------------
  1560.
  1561. **HMs Needed: Strength, Surf.
  1562.
1563. Damn, how long has he been here?? He says after we disappeared at the Ruins of Void a portal appeared under him and Jax ended up here. We don't have any good news to share with them about the Legendary Birds or the Shadows and now we have to find a way out of this crazy place. Follow him to the next platform and stand on the spot in the middle - a new path is created, carry on along it to the east then south and west, turning upside down until you reach the next platform with a middle spot you should stand on. Next area, go south to find Jax, he warns us about how not everything here is as it seems so we should stay sharp. Easier said than done :| brace yourselves.
  1564.
1565. Follow the path east and north to a spot that creates a platform on the right. Carry on eastward along that upside down platform to the spot you'll see on the upper right. Reach a point where there's a spot on the right and one below it, go for the lower spot and on the new platform that's created go south since the right side has a boulder in the way. On the south side we arrive at a curious little boulder puzzle. Push the boulder twice to the left, the circle round to the second boulder and push it until the first boulder is under the pressure plate. Then just push the second boulder up. There's a sudden rumbling. Get to the bottom left side and continue southwest to a platform with a middle spot and 5 rocks. Stand on that spot. In the next area go all the way to the platform in the south, the boulder puzzle there involves black and blue obstacles that disappear and reappear when you approach and move away from them. It's not a tough puzzle, just time your movements with how the obstacles vanish and reappaear. Once the boulder is on the pressure plate there's another sudden rumble. Back track to the platform before this one and move to the northeast side where there are 2 boulders. Push the lower one to the right so that the top one falls through the hole. Return to the previous area, go east to see the boulder which fell here. Push it all the way up, then the left boulder to the right. Continue going to the right using the other boulder until you reach the plant, then push the boulder down and up to move the far right boulder. Solved. Go all the way west then south, east and northeast. This puzzle has 2 boulders, the left boulder moves the right one. Move the left boulder twice to the right then twice back to the left. Twice to the north, then go move the second boulder to the right. Back to the first boulder, move it up once then right once and up one more time to solve this. Make your way back to the very first boulder puzzle platform, from there go northwest then west to a platform with a middle spot.
  1566.
1567. In the next area go east all the way to scale down a waterfall and continue south to push a boulder down (this is the very first boulder we saw when we arrived in the Distortion World). Once you've pushed the boulder far enough Jax comes along to confirm we're on the correct path. Step on the middle spot on the next platform and we move to the next area where Jax recalls Arthur telling him about the Distortion World and what occupies this place. We hear the cry and Jax goes on ahead to check out that Pokémon. He heals our team, you get a chance to prepare and then proceed north to meet the ruler of this world.

  1581.
1582. The townspeople have come back now so let's explore town. The Lass near the town entrance gives us Pure Incense. In the PokéCenter there's a guy who gives us Mission 78 Trader Traitor:

1594. The southwestern house has Shroomu the Youngster who wants to trade either his Shiinotic for an Amoonguss or vice versa. The northeastern house has a Nerd who will teach Seed Bomb for 2 Green Shards. The Gentleman in the northern house hears the "prehistoric" sounding cries of a Pokémon from somewhere in the Warehouse. 1601. Sandra drops some choice hints about what might have been causing it. Back to Vivill and into the Warehouse, return to the Command Center and pick up a Shiny Stone and a Power Lens. Outside we see Arthur updating Jax on everything, a lot happened while we were stuck in the Distortion World. Arthur tells us that he saw Aklove and the Light of Ruin leave using Hoopa. Axelrod arrives, it's good to see that he's alright, and he says he was sent to a holding cell in a building somewhere with Marlon. Axe managed to escape at some point but Marlon was moved to a mountain covered in crystals, which Arthur identifies as Crystal Peak and he confirms that the Ultimate Weapon is at the top of the mountain! It was brought to Borrius 3000 years ago. Axe won't let Aklove destroy Borrius, not when Axe has grown to like being here and after finding his parents. He flies off and we're left to plan ahead, Jax wants us to meet in Seaport City where we can get transport to East Borrius. We have to travel to Antisis City first to get Badge #6 then head west along Route 17 to reach Seaport. Return to Gurun Town and head south.

The boss of that Worker crew gives us one hell of a consolation prize though - HM08 Rock Climb! There it is folks, at long last. I really dislike Rock Climb xD because you have to hope you've got Pokémon that can learn the damn move! So I usually give a sigh of relief when I play a ROMhack which does not have it...but here we are :) I'll give credit to Pokémon Clover for improving Rock Climb by giving it 100 Accuracy and its Type was changed from Normal to Rock. There are barricades in place which keep us from reaching certain items, according to the Worker on the south side the barricades are moved throughout the day. I'll list the items that are there and you can decide which ones to come back for, but the Zygarde cells #70 are only reachable after 8pm:
  1823.
1824. - Throat Spray (south side, open around 6pm)
1825. - A daily Berry (from the Worker in the northwest area between 4am and 7:59am)
1826. - Max Potion (above the northeast containers, around 9am)
1827. - Hidden Galladite (on top of eastern crates, reached from southeast side around 12pm.)
1828. - Assault Vest (above central containers, reached from southeast side around 12pm.)
  1829.
1830. A former Terror Granbull member lives in the southeastern house, he gives us a Max Potion. In the southwestern house is a Shocker who needs something "eerie" to help him feel better. You have to show him a Pokémon that knows Eerie Pulse (such as Voltorb, Electrode, Lanturn, Heliolisk etc) and he'll give you TM107 Acrobatics. Let's check out our gang's hangout.

  1832. BLACK EMBOAR HQ
  1833. ---------------
  1834.
1835. Our pal James is here, he's glad to see us and informs us that the crew are preparing to attack the Black Ferrothorns. In the meantime we can help out some of the gang members, like the fellow who is plopped in front of the TV. He gives us Mission 24 Flushed Away:

1840. Location: Black [Player] HQ, Antisis City
1841. - Someone's havin' toilet troubles! Help your fellow Black Emboar by retrievin' his socks from the sewer.
  1842.
1843. This guy, xD *sigh* he adds that the socks could be covered in grime so we'll have to search real hard for them. We'll attempt that Mission after doing the other ones. The dude on the bike has Mission 46 Odd Odd Docks:

  1845. >46 ODD ODD DOCKS

  1847.
1848. Location: Black [Player] HQ, Antisis City
1849. - It pays to look innocent. Help a fellow Black Emboar smuggle some goods off the port after 8pm.
  1850.
1851. Those goods just so happen to be Rose Incense, a favourite of a certain Gym Leader from way back in our adventure :) we are to meet up with the Goon at the port between 8pm and midnight. We'll find him on the eastern side, ready to accept the shipment of Oddish Leaves from Mirskle! Haha, of course who else but Mirskle. Just after the ship leaves a couple of Black Ferrothorn Goons show up hoping to nab the O-Leaves. Our Goon goes off to stash the goods somewhere while we stay to deal with these fools in back to back battles.

  1860.
1861. Our Goon returns with a cop, just in time to arrest the Ferro duo for trying to smuggle Oddish Leaves. Brilliant :) once the coast is clear the Goon says we now have to find the Leaves, he hid them between crates on the western side. Make use of that Dowsing Machine and once you've found them return to HQ (the port Gate guard actually smells the Leaves on us but hey, we're just a kid after all xD nothing suspicious). The Goon rewards us with some Dream Mist, made by that guy up in Dresco Town Mirskle. Just bring him Oddish and you get more Dream Mist.
  1862.
1863. Upstairs, of the first 2 Goons speak to the left one if you're up for a fight against the pair of Black Ferrothorn Goons riding in the eastern side of town. This is Mission 3 A Minor Scrap.

1901. - Hit the Black Ferrothorn where it hurts by cutting off the supplies they receive from a scientist.
  1902.
1903. We're going back to that Scientist who wouldn't sell us stuff. At her house the Goon tries to threaten her into giving up the goods but the woman has all the tools she needs to defend herself - exploding Electrode wired into the floor! Our fellow Goon is knocked back and now it's our turn to weave across the room to the Scientist without setting off the explosives. Here we go: from the entrance go 2 steps left, 1 step up, 1 step left, 2 steps up, 1 step right, 1 step up, 5 steps right, 3 steps down, 1 step left and we've reached her. Up next is our very first battle against a member of the Science Society and boy is it an explosive one, watch out.

The Goon takes them and the Pokémon on the table back to HQ. Create space in your party and speak to him to receive an Alolan Grimer Egg. Now we can tackle that Flushed Away Mission, or die trying. Once you've reached that tile, go 1 step right, 1 step down and get next to that box on the right. 1 step down, 2 steps right, 1 step up and then simply circle around to reach that item ball below (Rare Candy).

As much as Barbs respects us and all he still goes on to kick us out. Outside we'll pick up a Heracronite with a note from James, it just says that we're all that is left of the gang now. How do we keep up the good fight when we've become a gang of one? Damn. So ends our disorganised crime adventure, the only thing left to do around here is meet Big Mo.

Back to the ladder, slide onto the ice from the top left and then slide right, up and onwards to get that Calcium up top. After getting it slide down, left and down to the rock which is above from the ladder. Slide all the way east, up and get that Dusk Ball in the northeast section. Those Skiers on the left...is that a nod to the trio of Ace Trainers that have a secret training spot in Johto? Slide out of that northeast corner and get underneath the smaller one of the 2 rocks directly below. From there slide left, down, right and you can go on to pick up that Moon Stone. Slide back to the left, up, left, down, left and all the way south then southeast so we can face Charlie before getting the Wise Glasses.

The last rock you end up at has a hidden Blue Shard. Reach the stairs and head for the exit below to get a Rose Incense that we would see on a cliff on Route 2. Back inside to solve a small puzzle: the idea is to move that boulder to the hole on the left and fall in after it. Once you're back in that B1F just slide up to get a hidden Big Pearl from the tall rock that's in front of you. Then slide down, left, down, left, up, right and you can finally grab that TM14 Blizzard. Done and done.

2729. We're finally here, a nice change of scenery after spending some time in Antisis :) What does Seaport have in store for us?
  2730.
2731. North of the PokéCenter is the Battle Frontier Gate, but the facility is currently being renovated. We'll find out from the old lady roaming near the PokéMart that Aros helped with its construction. Behind the Mart is TM12 Taunt. In the southwest section of town are Zygarde cells #77 near the warehouse and a Scientist who may have seen that Electivire-stealing Scientist from some time back. He saw her going to the Eastern Warehouse on the docks and he mentions that there's a password hidden under one of the crates. Go south to the beach and surf to the tiny island below for a hidden Slowbronite. Back to the Scientist and just east from him is the former Inverse Double Battle House, now it's the Camomons Battle House. The guy by the entrance won't move so we'll check out the house later. Right next door is the Breeder's School, speak to the male Breeder in the east corner for Mission 23 Flaming Body:

  2756.
2757. "This key item will reduce the number of egg cycles needed to hatch a Pokémon by half and this effect will stack with the effect Flame Body or Magma Armor. Therefore, egg cycles will be quartered with both effects." - Official Guide. We also need the Magma Stone in order for Heatran to appear in the post-game!
  2758.
2759. The female Breeder above him will look after one of your Pokémon. If you have a Pichu bring it to the guy sitting at the back of the class, he just wants to pet one so let him and he'll give you the Spiked Ear Pichu which we'll need for a Legendary summoning later :) it's holding a Light Ball. The Breeder on the top left will give you an Everstone if you show him a Pokémon that cannot evolve. The top right Breeder wants to see a female Pokémon that knows Attract, if you have one she'll give you a Destiny Knot.

2788. On 1F of the house next to the Mart, if you have a Pokémon that is 20 centimetres long or smaller show it to the Youngster each day for a prize like a Poké Doll. The Pokédex's Smallest Mode will help you out if you're having trouble. The Lady living with him gives out Mission 48 Pangs of Hunger:

Apparently it does quite a number on the old wallet xD, I can't wait to find out how much this item costs. His roommate wants to see big Pokémon each day e.g. a Pokémon which is more than 7 metres long like Steelix and she'll give us prizes like a Fluffy Tail.
  2797.

In the corridor is the owner of this building, he could help us secure a home for that old man we met in Epidimy Town...but this guy needs help finding his beloved Pokémon who ran away after the two of them had a fight. He'll follow us as we search around town for the "real estate queen" who is small and pink. Exit and return to the town beach, we find the man's Skitty about to be caught by a Biker and a Burglar who are looking to sell it. Stop, thieves!

Super good news for the homeless man - he will be allowed to live on the next floor for free! Hurry back to Epidimy Town to share the news and then come back to check on him. He has settled in nicely and as a reward he gives us an Icium Z. Good ending all round :)
  2890.
2891. On the northwest side of the docks is the KBT Expressway entrance, inside we'll find the Dragon Gem Family member (Scale Shot for 3 Dragon Gems) and then the Water Gem Family member (Liquidation for 3 Water Gems) just a little further on. There is a Clown to be found here in the Seaport City Port (during the post-game) after you've rescued all the other Clowns. He'll reward you with a Castform.
  2892.
2893. To the right of the Shipyard entrance is a hidden Dive Ball and a ship that will take us to Polder Town once we get an S.S. Ticket. In the Shipyard go to the northeast corner for Zygarde cells #78. The Workers below tells us a bit more about the ADM - it performs the same functions as HMs Rock Smash, Strength, Cut and Fly plus TM Dig. Colour me very impressed :) I like it when games offer Key Items like that especially for Flash, Cut, Defog and Rock Climb which are more useful outside of battles than in them. As for that protoype of "The Shadow", is that going to have a role in the post-game update? Or even later on in this one?? And who is this "Z" fellow??? We can make a note of the 2 Scientists: the woman might be able to convert Shards into Creation Plates later on and the man says he can craft a rare item for us if we bring him 4 Sea Shells and 4 Sea Salts from the ocean floor. That rare item is a Shell Bell. Then we meet Davy himself, who says only high society people can afford to buy the ADM and so he won't even give us a price for it until we've proven ourselves. It's that expensive, huh? Darn. Leave the Shipyard and let's visit the Eastern Warehouse down below, it's time to confront that Scientist and hopefully save Electivire. Just outside the Warehouse is a Kalos woman who will raise one Pokémon's IVs in exchange for Bottle Caps (regular ones or Gold ones).
