Able to become at will, Mist, a swarm of Bats or one very large one, and a Lion. All creatures of the night heed his beck and call and share their strength with him. Born with supernatural speed and strength, senses that go beyond that of a mortal creature, and a brilliant mind to boot despite easily daydreaming. Skin that can harden like armor, an accelerated healing factor, claws that can slash through steel and stone, and able to regenerate lost limbs or pieces of his body as long as he is able to feed, even if just a severed head. Currently, since his ties to mana are sealed he is only allowed his natural speed, strength, and endurance. Transformations are limited to his natural release of self.

Destructive Magic: To conjure fire, ice, lightning, and stone spires to decimate large numbers. Too bad he knows none of this.

Necromancy: In order to assure dominion dark magicks were learned. The ability to raise undead servants became crucial to his designs for protection and possibly conquest. Whether it need be a legion of shambling soldiers or hulking abominations of body parts, creativity nowhere near lacking as the calling of the dead came with ease. Specters, ghouls, zombies, skeletons. Sadly, this gem of an ability is now out of his grasp.

Illusion: To use magic to influence emotions, alter appearances, to bend minds and to create things so real out of thin air started as a toy and soon became a tool. Able to create a small town only to have all vanish as prey fell into an elaborate trap. To look someone in the eye, change their minds for them, and make them do anything one desired. To become invisible, to change ones appearance with a single gesture or movement. Such dangerous fun. Fun that is now not possible.

Combat Skills: The sword, a gentleman's weapon. Whether it be a rapier, broadsword, claymore, zweihander, dagger or knife. Yet aside from his favored elegant weapon his teeth, claws, fists and feet were just as good. However his hand to hand techniques are a little, unorthodox and in need of refinement.

Weaknesses: While quite hard to kill, Alusandier is vulnerable during the daylight hours. All of his power is innate beneath the sun. While he can still feed to regenerate, however, all of his natural strength, speed and stamina is rendered unto that of a mortal's capability.

Personality: Once he was callous, hungry, cold, witty, charming, and devious. A creature not afraid to go after what he desires. While he does possess a sense of humanity it was unfortunately buried beneath layers of pride, arrogance, and a sense of entitlement. However, with this loss of power and realization of vulnerability his perspective drastically altered. Realizing his folly he worked to pick up all of his broken pieces despite being at the mercy of the Mutliverse. Now he is calm, understanding, and quite humble. Though his pride remains it no longer overshadows, nor is any longer tied to his past. Quite in control of himself he is now a stellar example of a calm, genuine exterior which belies a predatory fury lurking beneath. Lucky for his loved ones he developed a moral compass and now only eats anyone that decides to cross decent people. It was only with luck that he came upon The City, a blessing not easily forgotten.

Duty

History

Asrai, a world of immense energies, titanic forces that are best left there in their savage universe lest they tear asunder other planes. These immense forces started as twinkling lights, countless as they illuminated the sky. With each movement and action they grew as they gathered energy from one another and the universe around them. These lights all sprang forth from what seemed nothing, yet all, as they grew and became more than just happy star light, recall a tree. Always a tree. Once they took upon corporeal form their respective home changed with them. As they took on life, life rose with them. It would be that seven of them came to a state of pure transcendence, allowing them to walk among the stars.

They were Kir'thul, Tai'lorus, Ruhk'lados, Tulphyra, Hakduhr, Yara'deimos, and Keira'thenu. These Seven flowed harmoniously, their energy shared among themselves as they embodied great forces of nature and feelings. As a way of leaving a piece of themselves upon their earthly realm they each created an immortal entity that would act as their chosen to maintain their wishes upon Asrai. Alusandier was the son of Yara'deimos, God of the Night, of starlight, mist, Winter and Darkness. His wishes were for his child to guard the night and all her creatures, to hold the rituals to bless rain and snow through winter so that spring may be prosperous and healthy. Unfortunately a parent's wishes for their child may yet be smoke.

The Gods hoped each child could keep one another in check, but it was not so. Alusandier at first heeded to the wishes of his parent and kin, yet there occurred a change in him as he lost control of himself. It was during his adolescence that he became smitten with a child of Tai'lorus. A maiden of light whose smile made Al feel fuzzy and happy. However, despite the young love that budded between them Al did not see her when he lost himself to hunger one evening. They attempted a little date when it struck him, his hunger driving him upon her, blinded with need as he tore into her and drained the lass that could make him smile.

Mortified by this he began to lose himself, ceasing to care of his Maker's wishes as he was blinded with anger and regret. Slowly, those rituals that blessed the night and spring with peace and tranquility turned to debauchery. Feedings, orgies, and even turning others into his disciples, children reborn of his blood. Each night his followers grew in number, taking mortal after mortal willing enough to join. With immortality the gift it was hard not to accept. At first it seemed harmless, though only until his new found family began raiding the grounds of his siblings, ensnaring their followers and dominating their territory. With this, the final straw had been plucked.

Yara'deimos and the other Gods cursed Alusandier, removed from him his power while they smote his followers, leaving him as nothing but a simple Vampire before flinging him through the Aether. He fell for what seemed like an eternity, all the countless stars passing around him until he was spat out upon foreign terrain. The Seven could only hope that he would learn his lesson as they banished him to a world most suited for his exile. Earth. He arrived in 1,100 A.D. and spent the next century abroad, learning about this new world. However, a century of it was all he could take, finding himself even a tad disgusted with it. He then spent the next 814 years slumbering, not feeling the desire to bother with such a barbaric age, as well needing the time to adjust to the energies of this new world. So now, within the 20th century Al awoke and soon caught a smell in the air that caused him curiosity. Others that smelled similar to him, but not the same. The old one followed his nose and soon found himself within, The City.

Since his arrival he has remained fairly quiet and made a few friends, the foreigner still very much awkward toward this world and still learning their social graces. Alusandier only has few to call family here, though at the same time call them lovers. However, there is one that he has come to care for more than most. Her kindness like a gentle light to lift a blindness from him. However, despite how wonderful her love was it was a short lived dream. She had seemed to drift away until he had heard word that she was now gone. Dead? Alive? He knew not. The aftermath of this was a heart weighted by the expectation of the worst despite hoping for the best. After this unfortunate tragedy Alusandier had a brief foray with two individuals. Shortly after the three attempted the polyamorous relationship it became apparent that Al needed to choose, which he did. Yet despite finding dedication in one Al had shortly after found himself whisked away by the very forces that banished him to Earth. Not knowing whether or not he'd return, he resigned himself to the possibility of forever being cut away from the realm of Gaia. Yet it was not so. After deliberation on his home world they found he had learned his lesson and allowed him to choose for himself. With things still painfully awkward at home Alusandier chose to return to Earth.

When he returned he found that Miseria, the one he had chosen, moved on. This didn't quite bother him though, as he had been away for quite a while. He was happy she had found someone. Al then soon found another to call his own, someone he hadn't expected to fall for. Yet love is quite mysterious in its machinations. Thus now he belongs to the lovely Skarlit. However, it seems it had been just infatuation. He thought he felt for her, yet still his heart had beat for Missy. He left Skarlit, hurt her in the process... He hates himself for it, for hurting such a pure, kind person. He tried to get Missy back, all to himself. Yet karma and irony met him quite quickly, becoming rejected by the person he fought to get back. So once more, he wound up single. Solitude might be the best option for the time being...

Power

Disclaimer: The artwork is not my own and will be taken down at the artists' request.
