Ellen's Game of Games

Covet: Kelsey was in the dining room scrolling through different websites on her lap top. Looking for something cute for Valentines day, on different Lingerie sites. Connor had went to bed early, having fell asleep while they were watching tv after dinner.
Alexithymiaa: -Brad was feeling pretty tired and therefore had decided not to leave the couch after family tv time. His body was draped across the length of the cushions with his eyes set on the screen across the room watching Ellen's Game of Games because that show is hilarious and on Tuesday nights.-
Covet: Kelsey wasn't really paying attention to the TV at all, but was getting a bit of a sweet tooth. She got up and made her way to the freezer pulling out a couple of cartons of ice cream, one of them sugar free for Brad. She got a couple of bowls down and started scooping out some of each flavor into the bowls.
Alexithymiaa: -He started to laugh at the ridiculous stunts happening on the tv while Ellen just taunted people, lifting one hand into the air to wave it back and forth. "You need to see this. She's so funny."-
Covet: "I'm kind of busy right now, Hun." She said to him still working on the ice cream. Once she was finished she put it in the fridge and made her way over to the table to close her laptop and tuck it under her arm, so she could still hold both bowls of ice cream as she walked over to the couch.
Alexithymiaa: "What're you doing?" He asked, sitting up a bit straighter and twisting to look behind him, watching her walk over with the two bowls. "The perfect addition to tv time."-
Covet: "I needed something sweet. And knowing you, If I didn't get you some, you'd be trying to steal my bowl." She said, handing his over to him.
Alexithymiaa: "Of course. But why wouldnt you get me some if you were dishing up anyway?" He asked as he took his bowl from her, digging the spoon in and bringing it up to his lips. "That would be rude."-
Covet: "Because maybe I don't love you enough to get you a bowl too?" She asked teasingly as she sat down with her things.
Alexithymiaa: "Nah, that's not it." He wrote off quickly, spooning more ice cream into his mouth. "You know it's best for everyone if you just get me a bowl."-
Covet: Kelsey smirked. "Maybe It's because I'm punishing you then?" She said to him taking a bite of her full sugared creamy amazingness.
Alexithymiaa: "You're obviously not if you brought me some." He said without lifting his attention from the ice cream, essentially intoxicated by the deliciousness.-
Covet: "Maybe I poisoned it?" Kelsey said noticing him not even looking her direction. She took another bite and opened up her laptop to scroll through the lingerie sales.
Alexithymiaa: "Where would you even get poison from?" He asked with a laugh, getting to the bottom of his bowl pretty quickly and scraping what was left before leaning down to set it on the floor next to his feet.-
Covet: "You say like it's not hard to find. You don't have to be some sort of herbalist or witch or something to get or make poison." She said with a laugh, still enjoying her ice cream.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, then how would you make it if you're so confident?" He asked, swinging his glance over to her.-
Covet: "Pitch pits, and high proof alcohol. You grind them up then let them sit in the alchol, strain. and tada, home made cyanide. You can do the same with cherry pits too." Kelsey said taking another bite.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh whatever." He grumbled, annoyed she'd been able to so easily shut him down. He set his eyes back on the tv, sliding his hands into the pocket of his hoodie. "Are you going to watch this with me or not?"-
Covet: Kelsey smirked, happy to have learned about that one in various cooking documentaries. She looked at him pout, then back at her computer. " I am." She said taking another bite, nearly finished with her ice cream.
Alexithymiaa: "No you're not. You're sitting on your computer. You don't even know what's going on right now." He retorted.-
Covet: "It's a game show, it's not like I'm missing some pivotal plot." Kelsey said, "Besides, What I'm doing over here is important."
Alexithymiaa: "You're missing the game instructions." He said quickly, gesturing at the tv. "This one is a timed race to get the balls in the basket through the obstacle course."-
Covet: "Okay..." Kelsey said as she glanced up for a second then went back to looking at the lacey frilly sexy outfits. "Who's winning?"
Alexithymiaa: "The mormon chicks." He said as one of them literally tumbled down the moving ramp with a ball in her hand. They sucked. It was funny though.-
Covet: "Ooh, well go them." She said glancing up again but only for a moment. She then put her ice cream over on the table, then shifted her position a little bit on the couch.
Alexithymiaa: "You don't care." He said in monotone, looking at her again. "We're having family time, can't that wait?"-
Covet: "This was family time?" She asked, cause clearly she didn't get the memo. "I thought this was just us hanging out together doing adult time since Connor was in bed."
Alexithymiaa: "Isn't that family time? We're sitting on the couch watching tv together. We've been busy and now we finally get some down time." He said like it hadnt been his fault.-
Covet: "And I'm sitting here enjoying your company, that doesn't mean we have to be watching the TV together, at least not for game show stuff." Kelsey said to him looking over at him.
Alexithymiaa: "If not for game show stuff, then for what?" He asked, mock offended because he was enjoying this show and he really liked Ellen.-
Covet: "Like...movies, series, that kind of stuff. This is just random tv stuff that happens to be a bit funny. Not that I don't love Ellen or anything, but I can focus on that and what I'm doing at the same time." Kelsey said.
Alexithymiaa: "A bit funny? This show is hilarious. It's easily like the best thing on tv at that time slot on Tuesdays right now." He said, now actually kind of offended.-
Covet: "Okay, and I enjoy it, I'm just not so dedicated that I need to watch it every week, and do nothing else." Kelsey said, picking up his tone.
Alexithymiaa: "Maybe if you paid attention to it, you would see how great it is and want to watch it and do nothing else with me. Since it's so great." He said with a confident nod.-
Covet: "I have paid attention to it before." Kelsey said to him. "And I'm still here with you, so what's the big deal?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: "There isn't a big deal, I just want to spend time with you." He slouched down on the couch to make himself more comfortable, reaching his hand out to rest on her leg.-
Covet: Kelsey stretched out her leg for him so they were at least over his lap. " You are, and trust me, You'll enjoy what I'm getting over here. This is time well spent researching." She said with a smirk, then wiggled down to get comfortable as well.
