- v2.6.0 - A lick of paint
- There's a lot of legacy code, poorly coded equipment, bugs, crashes, errors, balance issues, oversights and all that stuff buried deep inside More Fluff. So, let's ignore all that and put a lick of paint on the fixable things!
- Not much new equipment this time, but there's still a couple of fun items:
- * Extremely Unwieldy Sword - CAW
- * Deal 4x[max5] damage!!!!!!!!!!
- * ...but the enemy will dodge it
- * More passives!
- * Box of Nails - there's probably a better name but strained puns are nice
- * Whenever you shock the enemy, deal 3 damage (reuseable)
- * Oil Barrel - attack its weak point for massive damage
- * If the enemy gets 4 or more burn on them in a single turn, deal 10 fire damage
- * Frost Shield - it's a shield, for your frost
- * Whenever you inflict freeze, gain 2 shield
- * Blade of September - the twenty first night of remember
- * 4 MIN4 slots, deal [] damage
- * On 21, inflict weaken, shock and burn
- * i hate this pun. i genuinely feel like making this joke has negatively impacted the world
- * Dark Matter - too confusing for new players
- * Deal 3x[max5] damage
- * ...but give the enemy [max5] more dice next turn
- * Yeah it's about as bad as it sounds
- * Shrug - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- * Gain 4 shield
- * Roll a new dice
- * ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
- * Regedit - useful for completely useful things that won't break your PC
- * Saves the CPU counter, then sets the CPU to the previously saved counter
- * ...which defaults to zero!
- * Spare RAM - bash with CPU
- * Deal [] damage, double if your CPU counter is less than 6
- * Overcharge - don't focus too hard
- * Sets all your dice to 6!
- * ...but you roll 1 fewer dice next turn
- * Adaptaxe - 100% of the time, it's useful all the time
- * Deal 2x[max3] damage
- * However! If you have a 5, it becomes MAX5 instead!
- Changes:
- * "Reuseable If X" equipment has been tweaked slightly!
- * Let me know if anything breaks with them.
- * Shield Synthesis buffed:
- * Now gives 3 shield, and 2 more on a 6
- * Should incentivize it being picked up as a "put in any dice, gain 3 shield" equipment, as well as it helping you tank up.
- * Inspiring Tune changed from EVEN to COUNTDOWN 8
- * Just to make it a little different to Punchline
- * Underclock nerfed to MIN2
- * Won't affect its usability that much, but it makes the upgrade less of a downgrade by comparison
- * Joke Answer buffed to MAX5
- * Finisher- buffed to heal [max3] if it's the final blow
- * It stops the downgrade from being totally useless
- * Pike- changed to always deal 4 damage
- * Loaded Dice+ changed to 2 uses, to keep the flavour
- * Sacridice+ changed to MIN2, to make its upgrade useable
- * Power Through changed to a countdown of 3
- * Being able to get 3 dice from a 1 is... arguably too much
- * Shifting Sword changed!
- * First, the shield option is nerfed - now it's only 2 shield instead of 3.
- * Also, it has a chance to gain a bad effect too
- * Jester now can encounter 2 Fluff level up packs, on account of them outnumbering the vanilla ones by now
- * Jester also encounters more loot in general - maybe a thick deck could work?
- * Insult to Injury buffed to take any dice, instead of being a countdown of 12
- * Having there be a countdown restriction on such a hard to use equipment was adding... well, you know
- * Regen+ changed to unrestricted
- * It's not a powerful enough effect to warrant having a single range increase for the upgrade
- * Changed the "No effect" downgrade for Magic Mirror
- * Heckle changed to two MAX3 slots
- * Talons nerfed to MAX3
- * Now it's more obviously 2 Claws stacked on top of each other
- * Chain Whip- now deals 2 damage instead of no damage
- * Weaken is quite a nerf to this item!
- * Blade of JOAT+ buffed to 3 uses
- * The upgrade wasn't worth it most of the time; this should help it become more of a dice dump/general-purpose tool
- * Note that 3 damage/poison/heal/shield isn't worth it for 18+ pips!
- * 18+ pips... brb making another mod
- * Piercing Scroll buffed:
- * Now unrestricted
- * Returns the dice when upgraded
- * Healing Shiv+ buffed to unrestricted, was MAX5
- * Mirrorblade nerfed to size 2
- * Imperishability+ buffed to "turn 5 and after"
- * Ferrosynthesis nerfed to size 2 and a countdown of 12 (was size 1 with a countdown of 6)
- * Scorch nerfed to a countdown of 3
- * Iron Swan is now a PU equipment
- * literally zero idea why it wasn't in the first place, the whole point is for it to work with PU stuff
- * Critical Hit nerfed to 15% chance
- * It's just too strong!
- * Chronomancy now heals on jackpot too
- * Snowdrop/Pyrodrop buffed to 2 freeze/burn
- * Tweaked the wording of:
- * Talons-
- * Hockey Stick
- * Hailstorm
- * Frozen Whip
- * Promote+/Demote+
- * Iron/Copper Cauldron
- * The Beam Power status
- Bugfixes:
- * Focus Beam- now works as intended
- * Added a ) to Crocus
- * Begonia no longer appears in BR
- * Caramel no longer hard crashes the game
- * Frozen Whip+ description made more gooderer
- * Sapping Spores+ now works
- * Added more equipment into the Bonus Round generators
- * Not sure if it was an oversight on my part or what, but a lot of fun equipment like Mirror Coating wasn't generating as often as it should. Fixed now!
- * Jester no longer crashes upon picking up booster packs
- * Magic Frostbolt now deals the correct amount of damage
- * Decay- now inflicts 2 poison instead of 1
- * Unnatural Charm and Ekans Charm+ now give the dice the correct way, instead of angrily vomiting them at you
- * Fixed a crash issue because of a Simplified English translation issue
- * Iron Fist+ now uses the correct damage type of SHIELD
- * Bottleneck- now isn't quite as strong
- * Really Sharp Spike now plays the correct sound effect
- * Reaper now doesn't reactivate after being weakened
- * Shifting Sword + Resonator no longer crashes the game
- * Resonator now works for Thief, and also weakens their stolen equipment
- * Helium Balloon no longer lags the game like Overwatch
- * Blunt Dagger- now works as intended
