Twitch Update 10/8/2017

After having affiliate for a little while now and having the emotes for people in all tiers in place I have reached the goal I originally intended to get since affiliate was announced. With that said you may be wondering what my next goal for Twitch is. Its simple, partner. No this is not about the money, this is about channel growth. Reaching affiliate tells me there is a following of people out there that like my content. besides Building things I also like to entertain. I like to entertain because it helps make people's days a bit better. So for me growing will help make more people's lives better by being entertaining. With that said let me go over what I have currently planed for my Twitch channel.

Lets start off with the obvious, I will be getting on a schedule which I've already started. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday will be the main stream days with Friday set aside for if I cant do a stream for one of those days. As of right now there is no exact time for when streams start but on Tuesdays and Thursdays they will be no earlier than 7pm EDT. I have classes to deal with so that is why. I will also be varying my content up. The core stuff will be Sonic Mania runs and Source Filmmaker but other things I like to play will also be thrown in there. Along with normal streams I will also have Secret Streams. I wont announce these streams and they can happen at any time.

As for subs, I will make the off hand and random "sub to me and get these emotes" and "twitch prime gives you a free sub" but by no means does it mean I'm trying to force the monetary side of twitch down your throat. I have and always will be of the belief that if you want to donate to me (or now sub to me) go right ahead and if you don't want to also go right ahead. I wont limit anything to subs only other than the emotes for Twitch. I really dislike streams I go into and all they do is focus on subs more then the general audience. I also hate those that actively try to get you to pay to watch or even participate in chat. Me just saying those is just like any other streamer saying it. More to remind you that its there.

Speaking of donations, its been there before affiliate but you can donate tf2 items to me via scrap.tf . So that's an option. Also a bit time sensitive but I have put up a bet that if the pyro update doesn't drop on October 10th I will take 300 refine metal and craft it all into hats. What will I do with the hats? No idea. Probably give them away like everyone else does.

Also want to address the whole university stuff I briefly mentioned earlier. I want to let you know that my studies and my classes come before the stream. If you read the about me section you will see that I am an Aerospace Engineering student. I have a lot on my plate as is. So if I end a stream early or if I don't do one at all its mostly because of that. The simple fact of me being able to find time to do this and do so well in my classes is amazing. So if you bug me saying that "I'm not following the schedule I set for myself." keep that in mind. It's not my get out of jail free card either but, again, something you should keep in mind.

Lastly, the not safe for work otter. The one I use for my profile picture, I would honestly like to change it to a similarly looking otter at some point. Don't get me wrong Mikhaila is a good looking otter but she isn't mine. I would want one like her but more on the female side. I have a quick sketch of what I would want but its not suitable for an icon. So the chance I get to get something like that made I will. (Except right now. Right now its Flora from Two Kinds because spoopy month).
