Procyon #GamesMatter

Procyon is an humble shoot’em’up developed by only 1 single person, who made it on his first project.

Procyon is a fun game and has the right level of arcade challenge to keep me wanting to retry immediately when I fail, so addictive.

You have 2 different weapons. The beam, and a lot of bullets. You can activate a power up (thunder) when your yellow bar is completed (after killing some enemies). You can protect yourself with a shield. More weapons would be awesome, but it is not a problem.

You have to complete the stages with 5 lives. The game has only 5 stages.

The graphics are very simple, but considering that it’s only 1 single person who made it, it’s okay (it’s not shit). I mean, is nothing special, but is fine.

This game has 36 different achievements on Steam, so this is another incentive for achievement hunters.

After each stage, you can see some stats, like score, kills, your rank, shields used…
The music is simple, but as the graphics, its fine.

Procyon can be played coop, which is even funnier.
It’s a very cheap game (3,99€ here in Europe), and also you can get it now through www.indieroyale.com (3,55€ at the moment, this price may vary), with 5 more steam games, so if you like it, you should consider buying this indieroyale.

The game it’s too short, you can complete it in less than 2 hours (normal mode)

In conclusion, although its simple, I recommend it, you can have some hours of fun by playing it (if you play all the modes).
