WEAPONS Saga: Concepts for Main Characters

My internal designation is D14Z-001, the first Killer Intermodular Marauder. But to other people, I am Kim Holliday, a law student in Manila who wants to be a public defender so I can free my mother. That’s not happening, though, not unless I can pass two different exams: the bar (easy) and The Bog (hard), where only the best of my kind can thrive. I’m not always human, and if I fail at my job, I never will be again.
Because I am KIM, A WEAPON, and I’m only as alive as my Wielder wants me to be. Good news: I love him. Bad news: that’s against the rules.

My internal designation is D7Y4-002, a Killer Advanced Tactical Exterminator. But to other people, I’m Katerina Federova, a model who’s barely keeping it together while I strut the world’s runways. And I mean it literally—if I don’t get much-needed repairs now, they will decommission me, just like Gretchen was a year ago. Why would they do that, though, if they already know just how important I am to them?
Because I am KATE, A WEAPON, and Weapons don’t last forever. But I don’t need to. I have enough time to find the truth...and bring her back.

My internal designation is 6RDN-003, a Generic Re-orientable External Grinder. But to other people, I am Gregory O’Hara, and I work in a render farm just outside New York. At least, I used to. Now I run from the law, from them, from anything and anyone that will force me to connect. Building bridges will be lethal, so I actively choose not to. That puts me in a dilemma, though. I still have to finish a mission they say I can’t do.
Because I am GREG, A WEAPON of the lowly Infantry division, and our type isn’t designed for higher directives. Now, I’m proving them wrong.

My internal designation is VLD2-004, a Jet-Augmented Neutralizer-Eradicator. But to other people, I am Jane Viloria, who can barely contain my excitement at the best news I received just now: I got the job! This mid-level position is just perfect for my mission to infiltrate the company who hired me. I can hide in plain sight, knowing my Wielder has planned it all perfectly so I can strike at their centre without them even feeling it.
Because I am JANE, A WEAPON created to hurt the most people and get away with it. Yet I can’t shake the feeling that this plan is doomed from the start.

My serial code is KR21-005, the fifth Exothermic Destructive Nuclear Arrester. But to other people, I am Edelyne Karzai, a woman without a family, a home, a nation. Not out of choice, though. And neither is being a Weapon. They say I was a prototype, the first successful iteration of my type they’ve made. I know better, though. They had to kill so many to achieve the perfection they see in me. Today, I’m gonna show them they made a mistake.
Because I am EDNA, A WEAPON, the most successful Project they’ve ever accomplished. But I’ll make sure they won’t get even a chance to use me.
