"Oh fück to the no," I said as I found myself in the same goddamn universe again, and turned my head to the fourth wall where Tenchi and his would-be harem were tuning in to watch his brother's adventures.

"Hey Washu, Tenchi, how's it hanging? Yeah, I can see you all sitting there having a grand time. But let me be blunt: I know what you did to stick me here just now. I'll play along, even keep your kid brother from dying if he needs someone to step in. But this is a bunch of nonsense, I do not appreciate being thrown back in the past by ten years, and if you sic any girls on me again I'm going to break their hearts, so don't do that, mmkay?"

And from there I turned back and, reluctantly, got involved in the next giant pile of bullshit that this universe had to offer.

Amusingly, though, there wasn't a whole lot I had to do. I sort of rolled with the punches, helped out Kenchi once in a while, occasionally tossed him some super-tech trinket to help solve the problem of the day. Mentor, at first, and closer to a peer of sorts afterward.

I honestly did not expect Kenchi to be as much of a bro as he was. I only met Tenchi in passing previously, after running afoul of Washu, but his brother seemed much less of a pushover.
