  1. ------------------------------
  2. DEKU TREE
  3. ------------------------------
  4.
  5. Lobby Chest
  6. • A (2F main room)
  7. • Free chest
  8.
  9. Slingshot Chest
  10. • B (2F far room)
  11. • Must have Deku Shield (as child) or Hylian Shield (as adult) to reach this room, as the Deku Scrub in the room before it is immune to all weapons. When entering this room, avoid stepping on the floating platform, since you may not be able to knock the ladder down depending on your equipment.
  12.
  13. Slingshot Room Side Chest
  14. • C (Same room as above)
  15. • Small chest on top of vines
  16.
  17. Compass Chest
  18. • D (3F far room)
  19. • Nothing special required to reach this. Getting to the top floor without an item to kill the Skullwalltulas is tricky if you don't know how to exploit them. When they face you and change colors, stop moving, and they'll lose interest. Repeat (moving very small increments at a time) and they'll never attack.
  20.
  21. Compass Room Side Chest
  22. • E (Same room as above)
  23. • Small chest left from entrance
  24.
  25. Basement Chest
  26. • F (B1F main room)
  27. • Chest is behind web that burns when you light the torch by stepping on the button
  28.
  29. Gohma
  30. • G (B2F boss room)
  31. • Burning the web to reach B2F requires Din's Fire or Fire Arrows if doing the dungeon as adult.
  32. • Must have Deku Shield (as child) or Hylian Shield (as adult) to reach this room, as the three Deku Scrubs guarding the boss room are immune to all weapons.
  33. • Gohma boss fight is pretty straightforward. Deku Nuts are the fastest way to stun, and jumpslash / crouch-stab with Deku Sticks or Master/Biggoron Sword are the fastest way to deal damage. If she goes on the ceiling and you don't have a way to get her down, she'll eventually come down on her own after killing the Larva that spawn.
  34. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  35.
  36. Deku Tree Compass Room (GST)
  37. • H (3F far room)
  38. • Right behind the side chest, no special requirements
  39.
  40. Deku Tree Basement Vines (GST)
  41. • I (B1F main room)
  42. • Hanging on the vines that lead out of the basement. Requires any ranged attack
  43.
  44. Deku Tree Basement Gate (GST)
  45. • J (B1F main room)
  46. • Hanging on the gate to the north, no special requirements
  47.
  48. Deku Tree Basement Back Room (GST)
  49. • K (B1F northwest room)
  50. • Use a Deku Stick, Din's Fire, or shoot an arrow through a torch to burn the web, then use Bombs/Bombchu or Hammer to break the wall behind it. Requires Boomerang or Hookshot to collect item.
  51.
  52.
  53.
  54. ------------------------------
  55. DODONGO'S CAVERN
  56. ------------------------------
  57.
  58. Dodongo Lobby Deku Salesman
  59. • A (1F main room)
  60. • In southwest indentation, Deku Salesman sells an item for 10 rupees
  61.
  62. Dodongo East Corridor Deku Salesman
  63. • B (1F small room jutting out of room with adult Dodongos)
  64. • Behind bombable wall (Hammer also works), Deku Salesman sells an item for 10 rupees
  65.
  66. Map Chest
  67. • C (1F main room)
  68. • In center-west indentation, behind bombable wall (Hammer also works)
  69.
  70. Compass Chest
  71. • D (1F small room connected to bomb flower staircase room)
  72. • Behind bombable wall (Hammer also works), chest is behind Armos
  73.
  74. Bomb Flower Platform
  75. • E (2F spike trap room)
  76. • Southeast corner, jump to platform from pushable block
  77.
  78. Bomb Bag Chest
  79. • F (2F spike trap room)
  80. • Northwest corner of room. Normally reached after going through east wing of 2F.
  81. • The entire east wing of 2F can be skipped as adult by roll-jumping from the southwest entrance of the room to a tall square platform with a jar immediately to your left. This is easier with Hover Boots, but they are not required.
  82.
  83. Dodongo near Bomb Bag Deku Salesman (x2)
  84. • G (2F small room connected to spike trap room)
  85. • Behind bombable wall (Hammer also works) in the northern part of the spike trap room, two Deku Salesman sell items for 10 rupees each
  86.
  87. End of Bridge Chest
  88. • H (2F main room)
  89. • West side of north bridge on 2F main room, reached by exiting spike trap room or riding extending pillar. Behind bombable wall (Hammer also works).
  90.
  91. Chest Above King Dodongo
  92. • I (1F room leading to boss)
  93. • In room where you bomb the floor to fall down into the boss arena (behind giant Dodongo skull). Opens by pushing block onto switch. Note that if doing the dungeon as adult, you can skip going the long way around and just jump up to the block.
  94.
  95. King Dodongo
  96. • J (1F boss room after blowing up floor, see previous item check)
  97. • Boss is very straightforward, just stun with explosives and jumpslash with Deku Stick or Master / Biggoron Sword.
  98. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  99.
  100. Dodongo's Cavern East Side Room (GST)
  101. • K (1F small room connected to east Baby Dodongo hallway)
  102. • Room can be entered without explosives or Hammer by killing a Baby Dodongo next to the wall
  103.
  104. Dodongo's Cavern Scarecrow (GST)
  105. • L (Same room as above)
  106. • The intended method is to use Scarecrow's Song + Hookshot to reach the ledge, meaning you must enter the dungeon as adult.
  107. • Can be gotten with Boomerang by pushing an Armos all the way down the hallway and putting it against the wall opposite the alcove, then using precise Boomerang throws to grab the item.
  108.
  109. Dodongo's Cavern Alcove Above Stairs (GST)
  110. • M (2F bomb flower staircase room)
  111. • If doing the dungeon as child, the only way to reach this is to hit the switch in 2F main room that makes the platform rise up to the second floor, then leave and re-enter the dungeon to reset the bomb flower staircase. Now that the platform in the main room lets you get up, use that to go through the dungeon backwards and the staircase will still be in the "up" position, with vines that you can climb to get up to where the Skulltula is. After all that, it still requires Boomerang.
  112. • As adult it's pretty much the same process (requiring Hookshot instead of Boomerang), but the need to reset the staircase can be skipped if you have Longshot, since you can just hit the Skulltula from the paths leading up the side of the room.
  113.
  114. Dodongo's Cavern Vines Above Stairs (GST)
  115. • N (Same room as above)
  116. • On the climbable vines at the top of the bomb flower staircase room. Requires a way to kill it from a distance but nothing else.
  117.
  118. Dodongo's Cavern Back Room (GST)
  119. • O (small room connected to hallway behind giant Dodongo skull)
  120. • Behind bombable wall (Hammer also works). Skulltula is behind an Armos and has no specific requirements.
  121.
  122.
  123.
  124. ------------------------------
  125. JABU-JABU'S BELLY
  126. ------------------------------
  127.
  128. Jabu Jabu near Elevator Deku Salesman
  129. • A (B1F elevator room)
  130. • Dive underwater in the second room of the dungeon and enter a small chamber. Deku Salesman sells an item for 10 rupees
  131. • This room does not require Silver Scale. Adult can also reach it without a Scale or Iron Boots by jumping into the water from high up and using the momentum to get below the lip.
  132.
  133. Boomerang Chest
  134. • B (1F east branch in back of dungeon)
  135. • Chest spawns after killing enemies
  136.
  137. Map Chest
  138. • C (1F west branch in back of dungeon
  139. • Chest spawns after killing tentacle
  140.
  141. Compass Chest
  142. • D (1F northwest branch in back of dungeon)
  143. • Room can be entered after killing tentacle in Map room. Chest spawns after killing enemies
  144.
  145. Barinade
  146. • E (1F boss room)
  147. • Reaching the boss room basically requires doing the whole dungeon in a linear fashion. (Bring Ruto to top floor, kill all tentacles, fall down hole to higher ledge in B1F hub room, fight Big Octo, ride platform up, lower platform to create bridge to door, use box to hold down blue switch). Probably didn't need to explain all that.
  148. • When boss has jellyfish spinning around it, stun the boss with the Boomerang, then use a Deku Nut to clear out the jellyfish quickly. Aside from that, just fight as normal using jumpslashes or crouch-stabs with a Deku Stick to deal the most damage.
  149. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  150.
  151. Jabu Jabu Lobby Basement Lower (GST)
  152. • F (B1F hub room below pits)
  153. • Requires Boomerang
  154.
  155. Jabu Jabu Lobby Basement Upper (GST)
  156. • G (Same room as above)
  157. • Same area as the last one, also requires Boomerang. Can only be collected from higher ledge reached by dropping down the hole previously blocked by the green tentacle.
  158.
  159. Jabu Jabu Water Switch Room (GST)
  160. • H (B1F east room with water level switch)
  161. • On the vines that lead out of the pit, no special requirements beyond what the dungeon already requires
  162.
  163. Jabu Jabu Near Boss (GST)
  164. • I (1F southeast room before boss)
  165. • On the vines leading up the tall wall. No special requirements beyond what the dungeon already requires
  166.
  167.
  168.
  169. ------------------------------
  170. BOTTOM OF THE WELL
  171. ------------------------------
  172.
  173. Front Left Hidden Wall
  174. • A (B1F main room, outer)
  175. • From dungeon entrance, follow water path left and rub against the wall to Link's right (before turning the corner) to go through fake wall and find chest
  176.
  177. Front Center Bombable
  178. • B (B2F small square chamber in center)
  179. • Use explosives on the reddish mound in the back left corner of the starting area of the main room to drop into lower room with chest
  180.
  181. Right Bottom Hidden Wall
  182. • C (B1F main room, outer)
  183. • From dungeon entrance, follow water path right, turn corner, and immediately rub against the wall to Link's left to go through fake wall and find chest
  184.
  185. Center West Chest
  186. • D (B1F main room, inner)
  187. • From dungeon entrance, follow water path left, turn corner, and rub against the wall to Link's right to go through a fake wall and find the chest. Trying to approach this from the center area will drop you through a pit (which can be avoided with a sidehop, but this method is safer)
  188.
  189. Center East Chest
  190. • E (Same room as above)
  191. • Southeast "cell" of center of main room, guarded by a big Skulltula. There is no pit blocking this one.
  192.
  193. Back Left Bombable
  194. • F (B1F main room, outer)
  195. • Use explosives on the reddish mound in the far northwest corner of the main B1F room. Hug the left wall when approaching it to avoid a hidden pit.
  196.
  197. Coffin Key
  198. • G (B1F far west room with coffins)
  199. • Dive under gate blocking far west room (or lower the water level) to reach room with six coffins. Light the back left (southwest) torch with a lit Deku Stick or Din's Fire to open the coffin. Item is laying loose in the coffin, not in a chest.
  200.
  201. Defeat Boss
  202. • H (B1F southeast room)
  203. • Drain water level by playing Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol in the northern hallway of the main B1F room. Drop into hole near entrance of dungeon, through crawlspace, then kill Dead Hand to spawn chest.
  204. • Use Deku Sticks and jumpslashes or crouch stabs on Dead Hand if possible. If you have the Lens of Truth, you can bomb the spot where a shadow appears to get him out of the ground without getting grabbed by a hand, but it's not really any faster.
  205.
  206. Invisible Chest
  207. • I (Same room as above)
  208. • Follow same steps as above item. The invisible chest is near the back (east) wall, aligned with the boss chest.
  209.
  210. Underwater Front Chest
  211. • J (B2F southern "room")
  212. • Follow the steps under "Defeat Boss", and the chest is in the hole with the crawlspace
  213.
  214. Underwater Left Chest
  215. • K (B2F western "room")
  216. • Follow the steps under "Defeat Boss" to drain the water. Chest is in a pit on the west side of the dungeon on the way to the coffin room.
  217.
  218. Basement Chest
  219. • L (B3F)
  220. • Fall in any pit to reach B3F. Chest is in the rightmost "finger" behind some bombable boulders and a Redead
  221.
  222. Locked Pits
  223. • M (B1F northeast room with Beamos)
  224. • Enter crawlspace in the far northeastern corner of the main B1F room and open locked door (this should always be the first key you use in the dungeon). Room has multiple hidden pits in it. To reach the chest, just hug the left (east) wall.
  225.
  226. Behind Right Grate
  227. • N (B1F main room, outer, reached via locked door)
  228. • Follow the steps under "Locked Pits" to reach the pit room. The chest is guarded by a Like Like through the door on the other side.
  229. • If you have to get through the Locked Pits room without the Lens, first approach the chest, then kill the Beamos and Keese (if possible). You basically just need to start a few steps away (north) from the chest and go straight across to the opposite (west) wall, then to the door, but the exact safe zone doesn't have any good indication without throwing the Boomerang at the floor or using Navi to create shadows around Link's feet. If you stand in the corner with the chest and do a single backflip back towards the entrance door, then turn right and walk straight, you should be safe. If all else fails, face the west wall while standing against the east wall. If you Z-target while against the wall, you should be able to get the camera to clip through the wall to get an idea of where the pits are.
  230.
  231. Well West Inner Room (GST)
  232. • O (B1F inner west locked door)
  233. • In the inner area of the main B1F room, there are two locked doors (which should be avoided until you've opened the door leading to "Locked Pits", since that one has more item checks behind it).
  234. • The west one doesn't have much going on, but requires the Boomerang to get the item drop.
  235.
  236. Well East Inner Room (GST)
  237. • P (B1F inner west locked door)
  238. • In the inner area of the main B1F room, there are two locked doors (which should be avoided until you've opened the door leading to "Locked Pits", since that one has more item checks behind it).
  239. • The east one has an invisible floor. From the entrance, just hug the right wall, and continue hugging the wall around the corner. Boomerang required.
  240.
  241. Well Like Like Cage (GST)
  242. • Q (B1F main room, outer, reached via "Locked Pits" room)
  243. • Follow the steps for "Behind Right Grate" to reach the cell. Boomerang required.
  244.
  245.
  246.
  247. ------------------------------
  248. FOREST TEMPLE
  249. ------------------------------
  250.
  251. First Chest
  252. • A (1F temple entrance room)
  253. • Climb vines on right to top of tree, jump across to other tree with chest
  254.
  255. Chest Behind Lobby
  256. • B (1F northmost room with Stalfos)
  257. • Go through north door in lobby, kill Stalfos to spawn chest
  258.
  259. Well Chest
  260. • C (B2F tunnel connecting gardens)
  261. • Drain the well by hitting the switch on a high ledge in the east garden. To reach it, enter the west garden and climb the vines on the east wall to go through a connecting room, then hookshot (or just jump) to the other ledge.
  262. • Chest cannot be opened underwater even with Iron Boots.
  263. • If you reach the Forest Temple with no Bow and no Song of Time, but do have Hover Boots (and at least one key) you can still enter the gardens by going to the room to the west (with the push blocks) and hovering to the door on the north wall, which leads out to the west garden.
  264.
  265. Map Chest
  266. • D (2F room connecting two gardens)
  267. • Collected along the way of the previous item check... not sure why this one is listed after it
  268.
  269. Outside Hookshot Chest
  270. • E (1F east garden)
  271. • On the ledge surrounded by the moat. Hookshooting to it is kind of precise, but intended.
  272. • If the randomizer puts Forest Temple in a place that doesn't require Hookshot and you get here without it, you can get to this ledge (just barely) by using Hover Boots from the high ledge with the well water switch on it and jumpslashing in midair.
  273.
  274. Block Push Chest
  275. • F (2F west room with push blocks)
  276. • Shoot the eye switch halfway up the room (requires pushing the first block, which requires Goron Bracelet)
  277.
  278. Boss Key Chest
  279. • G (2F west twisted hallway, while untwisted)
  280. • Shoot the eye switch at the top of the block pushing room to untwist the hallway, then chest is free
  281.
  282. Floormaster Chest
  283. • H (1F small side room off balcony of west garden)
  284. • To reach the balcony, fall through the hole in the (twisted) boss key chest room, or use Hover Boots in the block pushing room to reach the door on the north ledge. Kill the Floormaster to spawn the chest.
  285.
  286. Bow Chest
  287. • I (2F north center room connecting red and blue Poe rooms)
  288. • Requires three keys, just keep following the rooms going west from the temple lobby, then defeat three Stalfos (one by itself, then two more together) to spawn the chest.
  289.
  290. Red Poe Chest
  291. • J (2F northwest hallway with stairs and red Poe paintings)
  292. • Shoot all three paintings with the Bow, then kill the Poe to spawn the chest. Use Deku Nuts while she's invisible to make her reappear and make the fight go faster.
  293.
  294. Blue Poe Chest
  295. • K (2F northwest hallway with stairs and blue Poe paintings)
  296. • Same as above
  297.
  298. Falling Room Chest
  299. • L (1F northeast hallway with falling ceiling)
  300. • Requires all five keys. After following path to Bow Chest and continuing further, shoot the frozen eye switch in the room with spinning platforms to twist the previous hallway, then fall down the hole.
  301.
  302. Near Boss Chest
  303. • M (B2F spinning room)
  304. • After beating all four Poe sisters, ride the elevator down to B2F. Spin the walls to open up the southwest room containing the chest.
  305.
  306. Phantom Ganon
  307. • N (B2F boss room)
  308. • In the first phase of the fight, the correct Ganon to shoot is the lighter-colored one. Stand on the Triforce markings to avoid the lightning attack.
  309. • In the second phase, don't attempt to reflect his magic until he backs off a bit, because it will almost always miss. By default he floats very close to you, but he'll move if you walk around a bit.
  310. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  311.
  312. Forest Temple First Room (GST)
  313. • O (1F temple entrance room)
  314. • On the vines to the right of the entrance
  315.
  316. Forest Temple Outdoor West (GST)
  317. • P (2F west garden)
  318. • On some vines high on the north wall above the pillars. Hit with Hookshot from top of pillars, reached from upper balcony (See "Floormaster Chest" for methods of getting up there)
  319. • Alternatively, can be hit from ground level with Longshot
  320.
  321. Forest Temple Lobby (GST)
  322. • Q (1F main lobby)
  323. • On some vines up and to the right of the north door
  324.
  325. Forest Temple Outdoor East (GST)
  326. • R (1F east garden)
  327. • Right next to "Outside Hookshot Chest", so it can be reached the same way.
  328. • If you don't have Hookshot, you can still reach the platform with the Hover Boots method, but won't be able to reach the item drop that way. You can drop from the higher ledge to collect it that way, but this requires all 5 keys.
  329.
  330. Forest Temple Basement (GST)
  331. • S (B2F spinning room)
  332. • Right next to "Near Boss Chest". Requires Hookshot (or Boomerang)
  333.
  334.
  335.
  336. ------------------------------
  337. FIRE TEMPLE
  338. ------------------------------
  339.
  340. Chest Near Boss
  341. • A (1F west room)
  342. • Left door from temple entrance, free caged Goron in back left corner
  343.
  344. Fire Dancer Chest
  345. • B (1F northwest room behind Hammer statue)
  346. • Use the Hammer to break the statue in the first room of the Temple and unlock the door (then proceed through the next couple rooms to reach the miniboss). Using a key here leads to three item checks, but it may be advantageous to save it for later in the dungeon. The tracker will not consider this item, the one after it, or the "basement" Skulltula to be collectable until you have all 8 keys.
  347. • The Fire Dancer takes more damage from the Master Sword than the Biggoron Sword. You can use either the Hookshot or Hammer to end its invincible state. Chest spawns when it is killed.
  348.
  349. Boss Key Chest
  350. • C (1F west gated hallway)
  351. • Obtained immediately after the previous item check
  352.
  353. Big Lava Room Bombable Chest
  354. • D (1F south of large open room to east)
  355. • Bomb the wall on the south end of the room to free a caged Goron and get access to a chest
  356.
  357. Big Lava Room Open Chest
  358. • E (1F north of large open room to east, lower hall)
  359. • Go through the lower door on the north end of the room to free a caged Goron and get access to a chest
  360.
  361. Boulder Maze Lower Chest
  362. • F (3F far east room)
  363. • South end of room, hit switch on ground level to free a caged Goron and get access to a chest
  364.
  365. Boulder Maze Side Room
  366. • G (3F hallway north of far east room)
  367. • North end of boulder maze room, go through unlocked door to free a caged Goron and get access to a chest
  368.
  369. Boulder Maze Upper Chest
  370. • H (3F far east room)
  371. • After looping through the west half of the floor, going through the room with the giant pit and the one with the moving fire wall (requiring 2 keys, or 5 total up to this point, not counting the optional one at the start), you come out on the top of the boulder maze. Proceed to the south end of the room and free another caged Goron up on the higher ledge and get access to a chest.
  372.
  373. Boulder Maze Bombable Pit
  374. • I (2F main room)
  375. • Follow the instructions for "Boulder Maze Upper Chest" to get on top of the boulder maze, and then bomb open the cracked floor to get inside a Goron cell from a previous room you passed through. Cell contains a chest and a switch to open a shortcut.
  376.
  377. Scarecrow Chest
  378. • J (5F east room)
  379. • While on the upper ledge of the boulder maze (3F far east room), stand by the northwest door (leading to the room with the moving fire wall) and spawn a Scarecrow on an upper ledge. Hookshot up to it and proceed to climb through the next few rooms to reach the top.
  380. • On the top floor, the chest is guarded by fire that goes away for a short time after hitting a switch. Reaching the chest in time can be difficult, but does not require any specific tricks.
  381.
  382. Map Chest
  383. • K (3F, west half of overall east half of floor)
  384. • Chest is behind a fence in the room with the moving fire wall. It can be reached by dropping down to it from the north part of the room (requiring the 5th mandatory key to enter that room in the first place) or by entering from the central room with the giant pit (requring the Bow to shoot the eye switch to open the door).
  385.
  386. Compass Chest
  387. • L (3F side room connected to large open room to west)
  388. • In the big room with all the fire walls that appear between posts, reach the northeast corner and go in the room to free the caged Goron and access a chest
  389.
  390. Highest Goron Chest
  391. • M (3F central room of west half of floor)
  392. • To reach the central room, normally you use a key on the southern door of the big fire wall room. With the Hammer and Hover Boots, this locked door can be skipped by hovering to the east door (straight ahead of you when entering from the hallway connecting the two halves of the floor) and hitting the rusted switch.
  393. • In the room itself, the switch to open the cage and access the chest is under a Song of Time block on the upper ledge, and it is rusted, so it requires the Hammer.
  394.
  395. Megaton Hammer Chest
  396. • N (5F west room)
  397. • This item location is disabled in this seed due to the difficulty of reaching the chest with non-analog movement, and the severity of the setback if you fall down. Because this item does not have to be checked, there's no need to take the north exit from the room with the previous item location, fight the Fire Dancer, etc.
  398. • Here's the notes for the item location anyway in case these notes are used for another seed that does not disable the item:
  399. • Follow the instructions for "Highest Goron Chest" to reach the northern part of the big fire wall room (either using the 7th/8th key of the temple or skipping the door using Hover Boots + Hammer), then proceed to the top, fighting a Fire Dancer along the way.
  400. • The Fire Dancer takes more damage from the Master Sword than the Biggoron Sword. You can use either the Hookshot or Hammer to end its invincible state.
  401. • On the top floor, the chest is guarded by fire that goes away for a short time after hitting a switch. Reaching the chest in time can be difficult, but does not require any specific tricks. It may be helpful to equip the Hover Boots when attempting this due to the risk of falling down to the bottom of the temple. Setting Farore's Wind may also not be a bad idea.
  402.
  403. Volvagia
  404. • O (1F boss room)
  405. • Reaching the boss requires either the Hover Boots or using the Hammer on the square peg in the big fire wall room (east half of 3F).
  406. • After first coming out of the ground, Volvagia must be hit with the Hammer to then become vulnerable to other weapons such as the sword. It can be damaged with arrows (even while flying), and takes double damage from Ice Arrows. The finishing blow must be done with the Hammer or sword though.
  407. • During the "falling rocks" phase, you can hang on the side of the arena to avoid taking damage.
  408. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  409.
  410. Fire Temple Song of Time Room (GST)
  411. • P (1F north of large open room to east, upper room)
  412. • Go through the upper door on the north end of the room (after playing the Song of Time to move the block down). Skulltula is on the wall, no special requirements
  413.
  414. Fire Temple Unmarked Bomb Wall (GST)
  415. • Q (3F far east room)
  416. • At the northeast part of the boulder maze, blow up an unmarked wall (will make a hollow noise when hit with the sword) to find an alcove with the Skulltula. No other requirements
  417.
  418. Fire Temple East Tower Climb (GST)
  419. • R (4F square room)
  420. • On the wall of a room passed through on the way to "Scarecrow Chest", and has no special requirements
  421.
  422. Fire Temple East Tower Top (GST)
  423. • S (5F east room)
  424. • Found immediately after the previous Skulltula on a wall of the inside of the "donut" shape making up this room
  425.
  426. Fire Temple Basement (GST)
  427. • T (1F northeast corner of loop behind Hammer statue)
  428. • Obtained along the way to "Fire Dancer Chest". No special requirements other than needing the Hammer and a key to get here
  429.
  430.
  431.
  432. ------------------------------
  433. WATER TEMPLE
  434. ------------------------------
  435.
  436. Before listing item locations, here's the three places where you can play Zelda's Lullaby to change the water level, as they will be needed to access different parts of the temple.
  437.
  438. (WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER 1)
  439. • 3F, rise up from 1F east room
  440. • With water at Level 3, sink to the bottom of the main central room and take the east door, then rise to the top.
  441.
  442. (WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER 2)
  443. • 2F, central tower
  444. • The normal way to enter the central tower is to open the locked door on the bottom floor, but this door can be skipped to save a key. The other method is to go through the door on the second floor, which requires the Bow. To get back up from the bottom, you can just save and reset to respawn on the top floor. The temple already has one extra key in it due to the randomizer removing a locked door, but having extras is always helpful.
  445.
  446. (WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER 3)
  447. • 3F, southwest corner of central room
  448. • The intended way to reach this ledge is to go through the west door on 2F of the main central room, which loops back around and leads up a floor.
  449. • This can be skipped by just jumping to the ledge (or using Hover Boots). It may not look like a regular jump can reach it, but it can if you roll first and aim for the middle of the ledge or slightly left of it. (Grabbing the ledge too far to the right causes Link to glitch out a bit). To get high enough to make this jump, you can just save and reset to spawn on the top floor.
  450. • A scarecrow can also be placed here for easy return later.
  451.
  452.
  453.
  454. Map Chest
  455. • A (3F, rise up from 1F east room)
  456. • With water at Level 3, sink to the bottom of the main central room and take the east door, then rise to the top. Go through the door and kill the enemies to spawn chest.
  457.
  458. Compass Chest
  459. • B (2F, east from central room)
  460. • Enter 2F east door from central room (water level doesn't matter) and use Hookshot to get up. Hit crystal switch remotely to turn off water spout to open chest.
  461.
  462. Torches Chest
  463. • C (1F, eastmost room)
  464. • With water at Level 1, enter east door at the bottom of the central room and light the torches (by shooting the Bow through the lit torch or using Fire Arrows or Din's Fire) to open the door. Kill the enemies to spawn the chest.
  465.
  466. Dragon Chest
  467. • D (1F, west from central room)
  468. • Method 1 - with water at Level 1, enter west door at the bottom of the central room (requires Goron Bracelet to push block), then proceed to room with whirlpool and dragon statue.
  469. • Method 2 - after beating Dark Link and going through the river, you'll be dumped out into the whirlpool room.
  470. • Once in the whirlpool room, hit the crystal switch in the dragon's mouth with the Hookshot, then go through the opening to your right and rise up before the gate closes.
  471.
  472. Central Bow Target Chest
  473. • E (2F, south from central room)
  474. • This room is reached from the central room's east 3F door and south 2F door (the latter of which can only be entered with the water level at Level 1 or 2, and requires the Bow and either the Longshot or Hover Boots). You must also have the Goron Bracelet to move the block.
  475. • Due to the shape of the hallway, the block that's in the way of the chest must be moved twice on two separate trips. The second trip has to be from the 2F south entrance (the one with the eye switch). It doesn't matter which entrance is used for the first trip.
  476.
  477. Boss Key Chest
  478. • F (1F, north from central room, westmost door)
  479. • Enter the north door at the bottom of the main central room (water level doesn't matter) and use Longshot to get over the spikes. From the large room with whirlpools and boulders, you need to get into the upper hallway to your left (with the waterfall) to reach the underwater door there.
  480. • The intended method is to cross the water and go through a room with push blocks and bombable walls to eventually feed back into the whirlpool/boulder room, then turn right to the waterfall and sink down to the door (requires a key).
  481. • If you have Hover Boots, you can skip this by taking a sharp left from the entrance to the whirlpool/boulder room and just grab the ledge that the boulders are falling from.
  482.
  483. Central Pillar Chest
  484. • G (B1, down from central tower)
  485. • See "WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER 2" (at top of Water Temple section) for an explanation of entering the central tower without using a key.
  486. • Raise the water level while in the central tower and sink to the very bottom below the block that rises up. Hit the crystal switch to release enemies, then kill them to open the gate to the chest.
  487.
  488. Cracked Wall Chest
  489. • H (2F, rise up from 1F east room)
  490. • With water at Level 2, sink to the bottom of the main central room and take the east door, then rise to the top. Blow up the wall to access the chest.
  491.
  492. Dark Link Chest
  493. • I (3F, northmost room, reached from west path)
  494. • Take the west door from the central room on the third floor and proceed through the rooms with the falling platforms and rising dragon statues. Requires two keys.
  495. • The best techniques to fight Dark Link are to either use Din's Fire or just do standing horizontal slashes without targeting him. The Hammer can also work. His HP scales with the number of hearts you have.
  496.
  497. River Chest
  498. • J (2F, northwest room shaped like snake)
  499. • Follow the instructions for "Dark Link Chest", then use the Song of Time to drop into the river. The chest is directly in your path at the far end of the river, and requires the Bow to open a gate.
  500.
  501. Morpha
  502. • K (3F boss room)
  503. • With water at Level 3, use the Longshot to reach the north door on the top floor of the central room. The easiest way to get up the slope with the spike traps is to run up the left side of the slope as soon as you enter the room.
  504. • The fastest way to kill Morpha is to try and Hookshot it while as close as possible to a corner, then circle around it and keep hitting it into the corner.
  505. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  506.
  507. Water Temple South Basement (GST)
  508. • L (1F, south from central room)
  509. • With the water at Level 1, go through the south door at the bottom of the central room. Blow up the floor and proceed through. The door at the end can be opened with a jumpslash. I always thought it needed a magic-powered spin attack, but nope.
  510.
  511. Water Temple Falling Platform Room (GST)
  512. • M (3F, west from central room)
  513. • Encounted on the way to Dark Link, high on the right wall. Requires Longshot and one key to enter the room. (Hookshot is technically good enough but the lineup is very precise)
  514.
  515. Water Temple Near Boss Key Chest (GST)
  516. • N (1F, north from central room)
  517. • Encountered right before "Boss Key Chest", on the wall behind the waterfall
  518.
  519. Water Temple Central Room (GST)
  520. • O (3F, central tower)
  521. • See "WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER 2" (at top of Water Temple section) for an explanation of entering the central tower without using a key.
  522. • High on a wall inside the central tower. Requires Longshot unless you enter the tower with the water at Level 3. The only ways to do that are by warping with Farore's Wind, or to open the door from the outside by lighting the torch, Hookshot up to the scarecrow to raise the water, then go back down and go in the still-open door. (The door will stay open until you leave the room, so the scarecrow is necessary in this instance)
  523.
  524. Water Temple Serpent River (GST)
  525. • P (2F, northwest room shaped like snake)
  526. • On a wall halfway through the river (reached after beating Dark Link). Requires Iron Boots (which is kind of a given for most of the temple, but you can get to this area without them).
  527.
  528.
  529.
  530. ------------------------------
  531. SHADOW TEMPLE
  532. ------------------------------
  533.
  534. Map Chest
  535. • A (B1F north from fake walls maze)
  536. • From temple entrance, U-turn through the fake wall into a small maze area. Hug the right wall to find another fake wall leading to a small room with a Redead. Kill it to spawn the chest.
  537.
  538. Hover Boots Chest
  539. • B (B1F west from fake walls maze)
  540. • From the previous item, hug the right wall again until entering a different room. In here, press against the back-right (northwest) corner to find the miniboss room.
  541. • Dead Hand doesn't require any special strategy, just jumpslash or crouch-stab it. Chest spawns when it is killed.
  542.
  543. Compass Chest
  544. • C (B2F south room)
  545. • In the temple entrance room, the bird statue puzzle can be brute-forced without the Lens of Truth by using the Hover Boots. Proceed to the room with the Beamos, which has three paths (two fake walls and one that must be blown up). The Compass chest is in the one to the south, and appears after killing the Gibdos.
  546.
  547. Early Silver Rupee Chest
  548. • D (B2F north room)
  549. • From the previous item, go through the north door to find a room with spinning grim reaper statues. Collect the silver rupees to open the gate leading to the chest.
  550.
  551. Invisible Blades Visible Chest
  552. • E (B3F room from southeast door in big south room)
  553. • Proceed to the large open cavern room with guillotines. From the platform that a Stalfos spawns on, go left across some invisible platforms (just make a leap of faith if you don't have the Lens of Truth, they're big and hard to miss) to a room with invisible spinning grim reaper statues. Kill all the enemies to open the gate leading to the chest.
  554.
  555. Invisible Blades Invisible Chest
  556. • F (Same room as above)
  557. • This chest is to the right of the previous one.
  558.
  559. Falling Spikes Lower Chest
  560. • G (B4F southwest room)
  561. • From the Stalfos platform in the large open cavern room with guillotines, go right (west) across the rising and falling platform and collect the silver rupees surrounding the Beamos to open the gate.
  562. • In the room with falling spike platforms, grab a block hidden behind a fake wall to the right (north) of the face symbol on the floor, and use it (Goron Bracelet required) to get past the spikes. This chest is in the cage in the northwest corner.
  563.
  564. Falling Spikes Upper Chest
  565. • H (Same room as above)
  566. • In the same room as the last item, pull the block all the way to the end of the path and climb onto the spike platforms. This chest is in the southwest corner.
  567.
  568. Falling Spikes Switch Chest
  569. • I (Same room as above)
  570. • In the same room as the last item, hit the switch on the upper level to spawn another chest in the northeast corner.
  571.
  572. Invisible Spikes Chest
  573. • J (B4F room north of big south room)
  574. • From the large open cavern room with guillotines, proceed north past some invisible platforms, the second of which moves back and forth along the chain. If you're doing this without the Lens of Truth, the first one is a simple leap of faith through the guillotine.
  575. • For the second one, slowly move left a bit and forward, using the Hover Boots to determine if you're on solid ground. When you're about as close to the door as possible, use the Hookshot to detect the moving platform, or you can just try running out with the Hover Boots and hope for the best. It probably shouldn't take more than a couple tries.
  576. • The next room has invisible spikes on the floor that can be avoided by using the Hover Boots. Kill all the enemies to spawn a chest.
  577.
  578. Giant Pot Key
  579. • K (B4F room north, then west of big south room)
  580. • From the previous item, collect all the silver rupees in the invisible spikes room to open the gate to the giant pot room. Throw a bomb into it to get an item (loose, not in a chest).
  581.
  582. Wind Hint Chest
  583. • L (B4F eastmost room)
  584. • In the invisible spikes room, Hookshot up to the locked door using the invisible target on the ceiling. If you stand on the chest, you can reach the target without the Longshot. If doing this without the Lens of Truth, stand on the chest and look straight up towards the door, then aim down very slowly while firing the Hookshot and you should get it pretty quickly.
  585. • Proceed through the hallway (Iron Boots are not completely required here) and enter the obvious door at the end. Inside are two Redeads and an invisible chest in the back-right (southeast) corner.
  586.
  587. After Wind Enemy Chest
  588. • M (B4F room south of big north room)
  589. • From the previous item, go back to the fan room and let the first fan closest to the door push you across the gap through a fake wall (Hover Boots help but are not needed). In this room, kill the Gibdos to spawn a chest.
  590.
  591. After Wind Hidden Chest
  592. • N (Same room as above)
  593. • In the same room as the last item, blow up the reddish mound in the corner to uncover an invisible chest.
  594.
  595. Spike Walls Left Chest
  596. • O (B4F room north from 3-way junction at end of temple)
  597. • After riding the ship to the last few rooms of the temple, go through the west door to enter a invisible wall maze. The north door leads to a room with two spiked walls closing in on you, which can be destroyed with Din's Fire, giving access to two chests.
  598.
  599. Boss Key Chest
  600. • P (Same room as above)
  601. • Same as above
  602.
  603. Hidden Floormaster Chest
  604. • Q (B4F room south from 3-way junction at end of temple)
  605. • From the last items, go through the south door to a room with an invisible Floormaster. Once killed, a chest spawns.
  606.
  607. Bongo Bongo
  608. • R (B4F boss room)
  609. • At the end of the dungeon where the ship drops you off, shoot the bomb flowers across the pit to make a bridge. In the final room before the boss, there is a series of invisible platforms. Crossing these without the Lens requires some precise movements.
  610. • First, jump straight off the middle of the starting platform onto a T-shaped platform. Equip Hover Boots to inch towards the door as much as possible without falling off, then turn 90 degrees left. Take the Hover Boots off and run straight forward to jump and grab the edge of the next platform. Turn 90 degrees right and run (don't roll) with Hover Boots to grab the next platform. From here, turn 90 degrees right again and take a few steps (it doesn't have to be precise), and you'll be close enough to run to the boss door with the Hover Boots.
  611. • Fighting Bongo Bongo is pretty straightforward, if not a bit annoying since he can do a lot of damage and knock you off the platform. Only the body disappears, and it will always stay between the hands, so you can tell where it is pretty easily even without the Lens. All you need to do is shoot the hands with the Bow (Ice Arrows give a unique animation, but aren't particualrly helpful), then shoot the eye when he rushes towards you. (Again, doing this without Lens isn't too bad, just aim where you think it is and it should work out). Quickspins or jumpslash-powered crouch-stabs are the fastest way to kill him.
  612. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  613.
  614. Shadow Temple Like Like Room (GST)
  615. • S (B3F room from southeast door in big south room)
  616. • Follow the instructions for "Invisible Blades Visible Chest", and the Skulltula is on the wall behind the gate.
  617.
  618. Shadow Temple Crusher Room (GST)
  619. • T (B4F southwest room)
  620. • Follow the instructions for "Falling Spikes Lower Chest", and the Skulltula is in the southern cage. Apparently requires Hookshot.
  621.
  622. Shadow Temple Single Giant Pot (GST)
  623. • U (B4F room north, then west of big south room)
  624. • Follow the instructions up through "Giant Pot Key", and it's on the wall behind the pot.
  625.
  626. Shadow Temple Near Ship (GST)
  627. • V (B4F big north room)
  628. • Follow the instructions up through "After Wind Hidden Chest" to reach the big room with the ship. Climb onto the ledge leading to the ship and spawn a scarecrow on the opposite end of the room near the Skulltula. Longshot is required to reach it.
  629.
  630. Shadow Temple Triple Giant Pot (GST)
  631. • W (B4F room west from 3-way junction at end of temple)
  632. • After riding the ship to the last few rooms of the temple, go through the west door to enter a invisible wall maze. The west door leads to a room with three spinning pots. None of them drop anything other than rupees, but the Skulltula is on the wall behind them.
  633.
  634.
  635.
  636. ------------------------------
  637. SPIRIT TEMPLE
  638. ------------------------------
  639.
  640. Child Left Chest
  641. • A (1F far west room)
  642. • Child only. Take left door in Beamos room behind crawlspace. Hit the crystal switch with the Boomerang (or a precise shot with the Slingshot) to lower bridge and reach the chest.
  643.
  644. Child Right Chest
  645. • B (1F east branch from west branch)
  646. • From previous item, proceed through the Anubis room to a room with a fence. Kill all the Keese to lower the bridge, then light the torches with a lit Deku Stick or Din's Fire to spawn a chest.
  647.
  648. Compass Chest
  649. • C (1F west branch from east branch)
  650. • Adult only. Take left door in Beamos room behind Silver Gauntlets block. Play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol and Longshot over to the chest. It can still be reached with the Hookshot, but requires aiming from below and can be tricky.
  651.
  652. Early Adult Right Chest
  653. • D (1F northeast room)
  654. • Adult only. Take right door in Beamos room behind Silver Gauntlets block. Collect all the silver rupees to open the door (the first one doesn't require Hover Boots if you do a midair jumpslash at just the right time). Try not to have a Like Like fall on your head.
  655.
  656. First Mirror Right Chest
  657. • E (2F east room)
  658. • Adult only. Take center door (which requires a key) in Beamos room behind Silver Gauntlets block. Climb up and kill the invisible Floormaster, then rotate the mirror to light up the suns on the walls. This chest spawns from the second sun from the left.
  659.
  660. First Mirror Left Chest
  661. • F (Same room as above)
  662. • Same as above, but it's the first sun from the left. I have no idea why the other one is listed first in the tracker.
  663.
  664. Map Chest
  665. • G (2F big center room)
  666. • In the giant statue room, light the two torches in the center of the floor to spawn a chest. Din's Fire is the easiest method, but can also be done with Fire Arrows or a lit Deku Stick.
  667.
  668. Child Climb East Chest
  669. • H (2F west room)
  670. • Normally you would reach this room as child by going through the crawlspace in the Beamos room at the start of the temple, but this uses a key. As long as you have Silver Gauntlets (and assuming the seed didn't somehow make the Spirit Temple entrance harder to reach as adult than as child), you can go backwards through that half of the dungeon and skip the locked door.
  671. • Once actually in the room with the Sun on the ground, just hit the crystal switch to spawn two chests. The game only shows one, but there's two of them. If you skipped the locked door, be careful not to accidentally open the door from the wrong side and waste the key anyway (there's never a reason to jump down from here).
  672.
  673. Child Climb North Chest
  674. • I (Same room as above)
  675. • Same as above
  676.
  677. Sun Block Room Chest
  678. • J (3F first west branch room)
  679. • In the giant statue room, push the Armos onto the blue switch to open the door above you.
  680. • If doing this room as child, you can use a lit Deku Stick to light all three torches. The main torch won't light until you've collected all the silver rupees, though. The spikes and Beamos make it kind of annoying, but them's the breaks.
  681. • If doing this room as adult (which you will be if you skipped the locked door earlier), it's easiest to light the torches by using Din's Fire twice. The first one should be on the starting position of the sun block, then try to position yourself evenly between the other two torches (near a Beamos) and you should be able to get them both at once.
  682. • Lighting the torches spawns the chest behind a Beamos that can and will attack you if you don't take the time to kill it. Killing the enemies in this room doesn't actually do anything though. Both doors open when you pull the sun block into the sunbeam.
  683. • This is the worst room in the whole game. I hate it so much. The movement is cramped, the enemies are really annoying, the triggers to spawn the chest and open the doors are arbitrary and I never remember which is which, moving the blocks is slow, and if you're low on magic or bombs, it's like ten times worse. Worst room.
  684.
  685. Statue Hand Chest
  686. • K (3F big center room)
  687. • Adult only. Jump onto the left hand of the giant statue (Hover Boots not needed, but they make it easier) and play Zelda's Lullaby to spawn two chests. One of them is completely unadvertised. One appears in the statue's other hand.
  688.
  689. NE Main Room Chest
  690. • L (Same room as above)
  691. • Appears when activating the previous item, but with no cutscene showing that it appeared. This one is up in the northeast corner of the room by a rusted switch. No, the switch doesn't make this one spawn, that opens the door at the bottom that makes a shortcut to the temple entrance. Yeah, idk.
  692. • Reaching the chest requires Hookshot or Hover Boots
  693.
  694. Silver Gauntlets Chest
  695. • M (Outside temple, accessed through 3F southwest room)
  696. • Follow the long and angry instructions for "Sun Block Room Chest" (though you don't have to light the torches) and proceed through a locked door to a fight against an Iron Knuckle. These are best fought by jumpslashing and then backflipping out of the way. If fighting as child, use Deku Sticks to do more damage. Chest is on a high ledge outside.
  697.
  698. Mirror Shield Chest
  699. • N (Outside temple, accessed through 3F southeast room)
  700. • Adult only. From the giant statue room, open the locked door in the southeast to reach a room with three Anubis, which you can attempt to fight the intended way or just use Din's Fire.
  701. • In the next room, stand next to the gated door and poke the back-right Armos with the Hookshot or Bow to get it to step on the switch, then quickly go inside. Continue through the hallway (NOTE - there are two invisible chests in here that are later in the list for some reason) to reach an Iron Knuckle fight.
  702. • These are best fought by jumpslashing and then backflipping out of the way. Chest is on a high ledge outside.
  703.
  704. Near Four Armos Chest
  705. • O (3F northeast room)
  706. • From the previous item, backtrack to the room with four Armos. Use the Mirror Shield to reflect light onto the sun to open the door with an unguarded chest.
  707.
  708. Hallway Left Invisible Chest
  709. • P (3F hallway between east rooms)
  710. • As mentioned in the instructions for "Mirror Shield Chest", there's two invisible chests between the room with four Armos and the Iron Knuckle. If you don't have the Lens, they're at the base of the second set of stairs against the walls.
  711.
  712. Hallway Right Invisible Chest
  713. • Q (Same room as above)
  714. • Same as above
  715.
  716. Boss Key Chest
  717. • R (4F northeast room)
  718. • Open the locked door in the room with three Anubis and climb (or Longshot) up the sliding wall to reach the top floor. Play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol to open the door.
  719. • There's an eye switch behind the fake door in the northwest corner. Shooting that creates platforms near the ceiling, which you can Hookshot to to hit a switch to get rid of the fire around the chest.
  720.
  721. Topmost Chest
  722. • S (4F northwest room)
  723. • From the previous item, continue up to the final set of rooms. Poke the crystal switch with your sword to open the next door. In the next room, use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the sun high up on the wall to spawn a chest.
  724.
  725. Twinrova
  726. • T (3F boss room)
  727. • Reaching the boss room just requires rotating the mirrors on the top floor to redirect light to the starting area, then use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the sun, which lowers a platform down to the giant statue. Reflect light onto the statue's face to break it, then Hookshot over.
  728. • The first phase of this boss is the worst, and is primarily luck based. You can stun one of the witches by hitting her with the Hookshot, but this is kind of hard to do while paying attention to the other witch and making sure you have a good angle to reflect her attack.
  729. • For the second phase, you're guaranteed to get three of the same element for the first set of attacks. After she's stunned, jump towards her and press B in midair to hit with a jumpslash, then start crouch-stabbing as quickly as possible to hopefully beat her in one cycle.
  730. • Make sure to mark off the dungeon reward (Spiritual Stone / Medallion) after getting the boss drop.
  731.
  732. Spirit Temple Metal Fence (GST)
  733. • U (1F east branch from west branch)
  734. • Child only. Take left door in Beamos room behind crawlspace. It's on the fence splitting the room in half. Can be gotten with Boomerang, or if the room was entered from the north door, by lowering the bridge (from killing the Keese) and jumping from it to climb the fence.
  735.
  736. Spirit Temple Bomb for Light Room (GST)
  737. • V (2F west room)
  738. • See "Child Climb East Chest". Skulltula is on the wall in the shaft where you climb up from the lower floor.
  739.
  740. Spirit Temple Hall to West Iron Knuckle (GST)
  741. • W (3F hallway between west rooms)
  742. • Follow the travesty that is the set of instructions for "Sun Block Room Chest" (though you don't have to light the torches) to get to the next room. The Skulltula is on the wall behind you when you come in. Requires Boomerang or Hookshot.
  743.
  744. Spirit Temple Boulder Room (GST)
  745. • X (1F far east room)
  746. • Adult only. Take right door in Beamos room behind Silver Gauntlets block. Play Song of Time to move the block and reveal a Skulltula.
  747.
  748. Spirit Temple Lobby (GST)
  749. • Y (3F big center room)
  750. • Adult only. In the giant statue room, on the top floor in the southwest corner, use Hover Boots or spawn a scarecrow and Hookshot to it to reach the northwest corner, where the Skulltula is on a wall.
  751.

  753.
  754. ------------------------------
  755. ICE CAVERN
  756. ------------------------------
  757.
  758. Map Chest
  759. • A (Room through northeast exit from central hub room)
  760. • Go through the dungeon as normal, collecting silver rupees in the central hub room to open the door up on a ledge. This room will be your first source of Blue Fire outside of randomly finding it in a shop. You'll want to leave the dungeon with at least one bottle of it (two if you also want to open the Zora shop as adult), and filling several in the meantime will minimize backtracking within the dungeon.
  761. • The map is in a chest frozen in red ice.
  762.
  763. Compass Chest
  764. • B (Room through southeast exit from central hub room)
  765. • Use Blue Fire to access the lower east door in the central hub room. This room contains more Blue Fire, as well as another chest frozen in red ice.
  766.
  767. Heart Piece
  768. • C (Same room as above)
  769. • Same as above, but this is a loose item, not in a chest.
  770.
  771. Iron Boots Chest
  772. • D (Southwest room)
  773. • In the final room of the dungeon, kill the White Wolfos to spawn a chest.
  774.
  775. Serenade of Water
  776. • E (Same room as above)
  777. • As soon as you get the previous item, you'll automatically get this one.
  778.
  779. Ice Cavern Spinning Scythe Room
  780. • F (Central hub room)
  781. • On a wall in the central hub room. Requires Hookshot or Boomerang.
  782.
  783. Ice Cavern Push Block Room
  784. • G (Room through west exit from central hub room)
  785. • In the big square room where you push blocks around, on the wall above a pit. Requires Hookshot or Boomerang.
  786.
  787. Ice Cavern Heart Piece Room
  788. • H (Room through southeast exit from central hub room)
  789. • Use Blue Fire to access the lower east door in the central hub room. The Skulltula is up on an ice pillar and requires Hookshot or Boomerang.
  790.
  791.
  792.
  793. ------------------------------
  794. GERUDO TRAINING GROUND
  795. ------------------------------
  796.
  797. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT USING KEYS
  798.
  799. • The center of this dungeon is a maze of 9 locked doors. It's really more of a long curved line than a maze though, as there's not really any forks in the path other than at the very beginning. From the south entrance (from the start of the dungeon), there's one locked door to the left and one to the right. The path to the right can be mostly ignored, but I'll explain the exception in a bit.
  800. • The left path requires 7 keys to reach the end (the center of the maze with the big chest), and leads to 5 items in total. Items can be collected after using keys 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7. Because there's no other way to reach these items, you'll always need at least 7 keys to collect every item in the dungeon.
  801. • The right path requires 2 keys and leads to 3 items (though none of them are between the two doors, so there's never a case where opening just the first door will be helpful). All three of these items can be collected by entering the maze from the lava room two rooms to the right of the dungeon entrance, though the Song of Time is required to reach them. Because this alternate method exists, it's usually in your best interest to never open the doors on that path.
  802. • However, if you happen to have a seed where you are late into the game and still don't have the Song of Time but do have a decent number of Training Ground keys, checking those three items -might- be more worthwhile than holding onto them to reach the center chest. Due to the randomizer logic treating these variable items as requiring all keys (instead of assuming you'll use them the "best" way), it's usually unlikely that the items will be critical for progress anyway, but there's always a chance, especially if you seem to be getting keys surprisingly quickly.
  803.
  804.
  805.
  806. Lobby Left Chest
  807. • A (South center room)
  808. • Shoot the eye switch above the dungeon entrance to spawn two chests
  809.
  810. Lobby Right Chest
  811. • B (Same room as above)
  812. • Same as above
  813.
  814. Stalfos Chest
  815. • C (Southwest room)
  816. • Left from the entrance, kill two Stalfos to spawn the chest
  817.
  818. Beamos Chest
  819. • D (Southeast room)
  820. • Right from the entrance, kill two Dinolfos and a Beamos to spawn the chest
  821.
  822. Hidden Ceiling Chest
  823. • E (Above center room)
  824. • Open the first locked door on the left in the central maze, then as soon as you go through the door, do a U-turn to the left and climb up the fence through a fake ceiling to find this chest.
  825.
  826. Maze Path First Chest
  827. • F (Center room)
  828. • Found behind the second locked door in the left path of the central maze
  829.
  830. Maze Path Second Chest
  831. • G (Same room as above)
  832. • Found behind the fourth locked door in the left path of the central maze
  833.
  834. Maze Path Third Chest
  835. • H (Same room as above)
  836. • Found behind the fifth locked door in the left path of the central maze
  837.
  838. Maze Path Final Chest
  839. • I (Same room as above)
  840. • Found at the very end (seventh locked door) of the left path of the central maze
  841.
  842. Maze Right Central Chest
  843. • J (Same room as above)
  844. • Found behind the second locked door in the right path of the central maze, or by entering the maze via the lava room two rooms to the right of the dungeon entrance (requires Song of Time)
  845.
  846. Maze Right Side Chest
  847. • K (Same room as above)
  848. • Same as above
  849.
  850. Maze Right Side Key
  851. • L (Center east room)
  852. • Same as above (loose item sitting on the ground on the high ledge in the lava room)
  853.
  854. Underwater Silver Rupee Chest
  855. • M (Far east room)
  856. • Collect all the silver rupees in the lava room two rooms to the right of the dungeon entrance (requires Hookshot, is also made easier with Hover Boots). This opens a door leading to a side room, where the Song of Time is needed to open an underwater chamber with more silver rupees to collect (requiring Iron Boots) to spawn the chest.
  857.
  858. Hammer Room Clear Chest
  859. • N (Northeast room)
  860. • Three rooms to the right of the dungeon entrance, kill the enemies to spawn a chest.
  861.
  862. Hammer Room Switch Chest
  863. • O (Same room as above)
  864. • Three rooms to the right of the dungeon entrance, use the Hammer to reveal an eye switch behind the tall statue. Shoot it to remove the fire blocking the chest. This also opens the door leading to the eye statue room.
  865. • The chest can be opened without disabling the fire by standing in front of it, placing a bomb on the ground behind you, then mashing A quickly after getting knocked down from the explosion.
  866.
  867. Eye Statue Chest
  868. • P (North center room)
  869. • In the back room of the dungeon (four doors in either direction from entrance), shoot the eyes of all four statues to spawn a chest. If it helps, they can be shot from the central platform.
  870. • If you don't have the Hammer and have to approach this room from the left, follow the instructions in the following item description.
  871.
  872. Near Scarecrow Chest
  873. • Q (Above center room)
  874. • Reach the top level of the room with the four eye statues via the left path. (See "Before Heavy Block Chest" for notes on the silver rupee room with boulders and fire walls). In the room with the Wolfos, there is a hidden exit above the fake door. You can use the Lens to reveal the opening and Hookshot through it. For strategies with fewer items, look at the notes below.
  875. • Once on the top level of the eye statue room, spawn a scarecrow at the far end to serve as a shortcut for later, if you need it. The door opens when shooting the eyes of the statues, as described in the previous item description. If you don't have Longshot, you can't reach the scarecrow from below, but you can jump into the lava and void out to reappear at the upper door.
  876. • If you're trying to get into the eye statue room without the Lens, you'll have to poke around a bit with the Hookshot, but if you kill the fake door and then aim directly above where it was (adjusting your height as needed), you should eventually find it.
  877. • You can also get into this opening without the Hookshot if you have Hover Boots. Backflip onto the chest, look directly at the spot on the wall between the two pillars (or slightly to the right, I find it's easy to accidentally aim too far left), and stand as far back on the chest as possible. Then do a forward roll and pause immediately after pressing A. Equip the Hover Boots in mid-roll, and if done correctly, you should be able to grab the ledge.
  878.
  879. Before Heavy Block Chest
  880. • R (Northwest room)
  881. • Two rooms to the left of the dungeon entrance, collect all the silver rupees within the time limit to open the door. This room can be done with no Hookshot, but it kind of sucks. Explanation is below. Either way, once you clear the room, kill the Wolfos in the next room to spawn a chest.
  882. • To collect all the silver rupees in the boulder / fire wall room without Hookshot, you'll want to get the four grounded ones first, then stand directly underneath the final one and let the Wallmaster grab you. If you're standing in the correct place, it should pull you up into it and clear the room right before resetting you to the start of the dungeon. The midair rupee is just at the border of where the Wallmaster can grab you, so if it doesn't show up, move VERY slightly away from the door until the shadow starts appearing.
  883. • To get past the fire wall to the exit door, you'll want to face the fire wall and go down the hill to the right, standing right at the corner where the two hills meet, and face northeast (north = where the door is). Sidehop to the left up the slope as quickly as possible, and if your starting position was good, you have a good chance of getting past the fire.
  884.
  885. Heavy Block First / Second / Third / Fourth Chest
  886. • S (Far Northwest room)
  887. • From the Wolfos room (three rooms left from dungeon entrance), use the Silver Gauntlets to push the big block out of the way. The door here opens by hitting the crystal switch behind the fake wall leading to the eye statue room, and it leads to a room with three Like Likes in pits. There is one chest in here already available from the start, killing the enemies spawns two more, and the final one is invisible, sitting in the only pit that doesn't appear to have a chest.
  888.
  889.
  890.
  891. ------------------------------
  892. GANON'S CASTLE
  893. ------------------------------
  894.
  895. Ganons Castle under Bridge Deku Salesman (x4)
  896. • A (Chamber south of central room, below entrance hallway)
  897. • In the central room of the dungeon (with the barrier blocking the door leading to the tower), go through a fake wall on the bottom floor underneath the bridge that extends forwards from the entrance door (between the Forest and Spirit trials). There you will find a bunch of fairies as well as four Deku Salesmen, which sell an item for 10 rupees each.
  898.
  899. Forest Trial Chest
  900. • B (First room of Forest Trial)
  901. • In the first room of the Forest Trial, kill the Wolfos to spawn this chest.
  902.
  903. -----CLEARING FOREST TRIAL-----
  904. • In the first room, light the lower torches with Din's Fire and (Fire) Arrows to light the one above the door.
  905. • In the second room, collect all the silver rupees to open the door. This is made easier with the Hover and Iron Boots to control your movement with the fans a bit better, but neither are required. A Song of Time block can be spawned left of the entrance to reach the first silver rupee, and the button spawns a Hookshot pillar that can be used to reach another. After clearing the room, shoot the energy ball with Light Arrows.
  906.
  907. -----CLEARING FIRE TRIAL-----
  908. • Using the Hover Boots will prevent the platform from falling, but they are not strictly required. Most of the rupees are pretty straightforward, but two require the Golden Gauntlets - one is under the pillar, and one is above the lava where it gets thrown (making a platform). The one above the pillar platform is best saved for last, because jumping back from it can sometimes be a bit janky. (It's better to not wear the Hover Boots for that part.) Reaching the exit door requires the Longshot. After clearing the room, shoot the energy ball with Light Arrows.
  909.
  910. Water Trial Left Chest
  911. • C (First room of Water Trial)
  912. • This chest is sitting out in the open and doesn't require anything.
  913.
  914. Water Trial Right Chest
  915. • D (Same room as above)
  916. • Same as above
  917.
  918. -----CLEARING WATER TRIAL-----
  919. • In the first room, kill the Freezards to open the door. Melt the ice with Blue Fire and bring an extra into the next room. Push the second block (the one further from the entrance) into the hole, then push the first block across it to make a platform reaching a higher ledge, which contains more ice to melt with Blue Fire and a rusted switch which requires the Hammer. Shoot the energy ball with Light Arrows.
  920.
  921. Shadow Trial First Chest
  922. • E (Shadow Trial room)
  923. • This chest is on a small floating platform to the left when you first enter. It can be reached with the Longshot, Hover Boots, or by spawning Song of Time blocks leading towards it.
  924.
  925. Shadow Trial Second Chest
  926. • F (Same room as above)
  927. • Cross the first big gap by lighting the torch on the floating platform to the right (either with Fire Arrows or by Longshotting to it, then using Din's Fire). This spawns some temporary platforms that will lead to the next big stable platform with the Like Like on it. The temporary platforms also appear in the next gap, so either light the torch again or just use Hover Boots.
  928. • On the next platform, there is a switch ahead of you to the right and down a bit. You can either light the torch again (there is a different torch by the next door that will do the same thing as the last one) to spawn more platforms down to it, or just run out towards it with Hover Boots and fall down to the switch, which spawns a chest on the platform you just came from. Hookshot back up to it or relight the torches to use the platforms to get back up.
  929.
  930. -----CLEARING SHADOW TRIAL-----
  931. • First, follow all the steps for "Shadow Trial Second Chest" (though spawning the chest itself is not mandatory).
  932. • There is a rusted switch on a floating platform to the left. This can be reached with Hover Boots or by using the Lens of Truth to reveal a curved path leading to it. If doing this with no Lens, here's the instructions. Treating the entrance of the room as "south", put yourself as close as humanly possible to the southwest corner of the platform with the second chest. Walk backwards off the south edge of the platform and pull back up to make sure you're perfectly facing north, then turn 90 degrees left, and do four standing rolls (Z+A without touching the control stick). Turn 90 degrees right, then run forward to the switch. The switch is rusted and requires the Hammer. Hitting it will open the door.
  933. • Longshot to the torch to reach the door. If you don't have Longshot, there's an invisible platform leading to it. If you also don't have Lens, this is about to get a lot more annoying. If you do, just go through the door and shoot the energy ball with Light Arrows. If not, read on...
  934. • Stand against the backside of the chest, as centered as possible, and face north. Do one standing roll forward. Stop and go into first-person, and look down at the switch to your right. Try to roughly center the B button with the switch. Do three standing rolls forward, then stop and go into first person again. Turn left to look straight at the row of hearts. If the hearts are gone, try to line up the C-down button with the shadow medallion above the door. Run forward through the hearts, and you will automatically jump along the way. Stop moving immediately after the jump. Do three more standing rolls forward, then go into first person and look towards the door. Line up the left half of the B button with the right edge of the gray border surrounding the door. From here you can now run straight forward.
  935.
  936. Spirit Trial First Chest
  937. • G (Second room of Spirit Trial)
  938. • In the second room, kill the Torch Slugs and hit the first crystal switch through the wall with your sword to spawn the chest.
  939.
  940. Spirit Trial Second Chest
  941. • H (Same room as above)
  942. • Use a Bombchu to hit the second crystal switch to open the door leading to the second half of the room. Immediately after going through the door, in the corner to your right, is an invisible chest.
  943.
  944. -----CLEARING SPIRIT TRIAL-----
  945. • In the first room, use the Hookshot to grab the floating silver rupee. The one inside the Beamos can be collected just by running into it, you don't have to actually kill it. The others are all just being guarded by blade traps and don't require anything special.
  946. • In the second room, a Bombchu is required to open the door. Burn the web on the ceiling with Fire Arrows or a semi-precise shot through a torch in the previous room, then use the Mirror Shield to light the sun behind you and to the left. Shoot the energy ball with Light Arrows.
  947.
  948. Light Trial First/Second/Third Left/Right Chests (x6)
  949. • I (First room of Light Trial)
  950. • Enter the Light Trial by using the Golden Gauntlets, and the six chests are all just sitting there in plain sight.
  951.
  952. Light Trial Invisible Enemies Chest
  953. • J (Same room as above)
  954. • In the same room as the previous six chests, kill the invisible Skulltula and three invisible Keese to spawn another chest.
  955.
  956. Light Trial Lullaby Chest
  957. • K (Second room of Light Trial)
  958. • The second room is a small hallway with another locked door and a Triforce marking on the floor. Play Zelda's Lullaby to spawn a chest.
  959.
  960. -----CLEARING LIGHT TRIAL-----
  961. • Requires Gold Gauntlets (to enter), two small keys, and the Hookshot to collect all the silver rupees in the third room. The final room fakes you out by not having the energy ball that you normally shoot with Light Arrows, but there's a duplicate room behind a fake wall.
  962.
  963. Boss Key Chest
  964. • L (Central tower, floor 3)
  965. • After completing all six trials, enter the center tower of the main room and start climbing towards Ganondorf. You'll progress through a room with two Dinolfos, and on the next floor, two Stalfos. Kill the Stalfos to extinguish the fire around the chest. If you've made it this far and have completed every dungeon, you should be able to finish the game. But unless you've checked every other item location in the game, you're not done yet, since you may still have important items that other people need to complete their games.
  966.
  967. Ganon Fight
  968. • This isn't really an item check, but it is the final thing on the tracker, so I might as well give some tips.
  969. • For the fight against Ganondorf, you'll basically just want to keep your distance, preferably in a corner, and reflect his magic attacks. When he gets damaged by one, use a Light Arrow to make him drop to the ground, and just try to deal as much damage as possible with jumpslashes / crouch-stabs (with the Biggoron Sword if you have it). If he starts charging a bunch of energy at once, you can either reflect back all of the shots at once with a spin attack and then shoot him with the Light Arrow, or just shoot him while he's charging the move.
  970. • In the first phase against Beast Ganon, you don't have access to the Master Sword, and all other weapons will do equal damage to him when used on his tail. This includes Deku Nuts, which are the preferred method due to how fast they are to use. Just roll between his legs, use a Deku Nut, run away, and repeat. If you want, you can stun him by shooting him in the face (the Longshot works, but Light Arrows will stun for the longest amount of time). There's really no need to do that in this phase though.
  971. • After you've done enough damage, you can get the Master Sword back, and you'll want to use this for the remainder of the fight, since it will do more damage than anything else (including the Biggoron Sword). The second phase is very similar to the first, but he's faster, so it is more worth your while to stun him by shooting his face. And... that's pretty much it!
