» BACKGROUND:
Born to a working class Korean family, being the oldest in the family with a younger sister, she grew up near the lovely beaches of Jeongja dong. Her parents own one of the biggest restaurants in the area and is well known for their seafood cuisine. Due to her parents busy schedules, she mostly took care of herself as well as her sister, she literally became the second mother for her sister. Everyday after school, she picks her sister up from her school and goes home which is located right next to their family's restaurant. During the time, she would guide her sister's homework and take her to the beach to play.

Since young she had always been interested in music, because of that her parents sent her to piano classes which made her even more intrigued by it. Soon enough she started to self teach herself some other instruments such as guitar and started to write lyrics.

In school, she had always been nearly in charge of all the school events but does not participating in them due to lack of time preparing for the event itself. Until one day during an event, an act couldn't perform and due to effect of schedule, she sang a song to fill in the slot, unknown to her a scout was in the audience and scouted her to join the girl group. Wishing to do something for herself, she got her parent's approval and went to Seoul.

» PERSONALITY:
Min joo is responsible, caring, loyal, cheerful and quick to response, though at times she do loses her temper due to mostly stress and can be impatient. There are times she is stubborn, thinking she is always right and she doesn't like to admit her fault. She can be a bit moody and tends to be too serious. When she is in a good mood, she teases people a lot and sometimes even flirt, but when she is in a bad mood, she gives off a strong silent sexy vibe. When it comes to something she hates/dislikes, she tries to avoid it but when comforted by it, she bravely concurs to get the job done. She doesn't like to waste time and always tries to finish the task quickly. When it comes to making hard decisions she rely on her experience and instinct to solve the matter.
