- A gunblade forged for violence, first and foremost. It's peerless design is of the Empire's make originally, and any lingering imperfections have been hammered out by a master smith. A blade of arcanium attaches itself to a revolving chamber where an ammo feeding mechanism automatically handles the reloading of absolutely massive cartridges of ammunition. These specially crafted rounds are capable of causing localized explosions with enough force to vaporize anything unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast. Alternative firing modes are available, allowing for specialized ammunition to be loaded and fired, though the weapons specialization is in these close range explosions. An internal battery provides power to the ammo feed, and a series of switches located at the hilt can be used for manual operation, for maintenance or for when power is lost.
- At the top of the hilt lies an inset set of fresnel lenses. Light that passes through these lenses is magnified greatly, and even in the darkest of caverns it seems to find some light to reflect. If a cosmically attuned magi were to pass their mana through the lenses, they'd find them capable of producing a three-dimensional star map of the surrounding constellations of Esshar; with the patron Star to the mage in question highlighted by glowing golden leylines. On the bottom of the sword's pommel, hidden just out of sight, is engraved the letter 'W' dyed in an impossibly deep red.
