  1. The Starazor as it's supposedly named is a scimitar. It is of sleek and very practical construction, with a curved pommel and a guard that are usual to scimitars, and it mostly isn't particularly decorated. The blade itself is coated in some very dark material that doesn't especially reflect much light - not dissimilar to vantablack, although perhaps somewhat less dark. The sides of the blade are, however, dotted with glowing orange, blue, yellow and white dots, made to resemble stars. There is a small mechanism hidden in the guard which requires Alex to pull back a small switch and press it up into the guard. When this is done, the unusually sharp edge of the blade will rapidly heat up to incredibly hot temperatures, enough to set clothing on fire with short contact, melt through iron with very prolonged contact and brutally sear flesh when passing through it. Combined with the sheer sharpness of the blade, this thing would be a very potent weapon against unarmored targets. It'd also probably be a nice firestarter. It comes with a simplistic scabbard which is also dotted similarly as to resemble stars.

  3. Beside the sword on the ground, just outside of Alex's ship, is a box.
  4.
  5. Inside of the box are about 20 strange, tapered cylindrical devices about an inch in diameter at their thickest point and 6-7 inches long at a glance. They are dark in color and have a lot of alien writing on them. Beneath them in the box is a small note.

  7. "Alex,
  8.
  9. Thank you for your gift. This might be a disproportionate response gift, but that was really thoughtful of you and I wanted you to have something nice back.
  10.
  11. You can activate the main feature by pushing in a switch beneath one of the guards and sliding it back to the end of the guard, then releasing. Be careful as it will heat up enough to maim you in a very short span of time.
  12.
  13. You can remove the pommel by gently applying pressure above and beneath it with two fingers. Remove the pommel and access to the battery slot will be available. Batteries should last around a straight month of use or so, so you should be good for quite a while. When a battery is expended, it will automatically eject as soon as the pommel is removed. Then, just slide a new one in and it'll hook in itself.

  15. - Mercy"
