4/23 Update

(4/23 Updated): "Shorter" update this time. (I still elaborated much more than I planned lol!)

1. PBed a couple weeks ago on my first night of attempts. In hindsight I almost wish I hadn't lol, because the standards I had for myself went way up. This past week I couldn't do much as I had to focus my time on preparing for an exam, but this week I hope to stream a lot more attempts. With a more measured approach now, I think I'll continue improving and will hopefully PB again this week sometime. I'd also like to do another run of practice through all the levels like I was doing in my March practice, but this may end up being an off stream job, where as I'll mostly keep on stream mostly just run attempts. Maybe I'll sprinkle in some IWs this week too, who knows.

2. New rubbers came in about a week ago. Love them, its taking some getting used to for sure, especially on things like honey and rope climbing, but its a night and day difference. Just need to get more practice in those sections and I'll be back to normal soon. Meanwhile, Web woods is infinitely better without webs shooting in random directions.

3. So here are the IW goals I set for what I would like to achieve in my goal run. They amount to a 4020 roughly depending on how early game RNG goes, and so I want to track my progress in each area as to highlight my weak areas, and then I can focus my practice on those areas. To have these times in a run, I would estimate my gold should probably be 3-5 seconds better for most segments.
        w2: (3:03) -> gold is 304.9, I seem to get 305s pretty consistently right now tho. no priority
        w3: (7:35) -> gold is 738.3, definitely beatable but on average seem to be around 740-742 with vine clip atm. Low priority.
        w4: (7:59) -> gold is 758.x, can beat this but probably my best gold atm. avg is low 80x atm. Low priority.
        w5: (7:19) -> gold is 732, one of my worst golds tho I did have a 2x IW time. High priority.
        w6: (7:19) -> gold is 728, still much to improve with this one. probably my worst avg. High priority.
        w7: (4:49) -> gold is 451 but my avg seems to be 52-54, should grind screech ILs again to fix. Medium priority.

4. Its almost graduation! I finish my undergrad in less than 4 weeks!
