  1. >Day Mistaken on Earth
  2. >Be Anonymous the melancholy
  3. >You have finished up a long work week in your unfulfilling job and now have a pocket full of money
  4. >Bored and restless, you decide you should have fun
  5. >You quickly clean up and dress in your best
  6. >Admiring yourself for the moment, you roll your weight to the balls of your feet and stare into nothingness
  7. >You have no idea where to go or even what to do
  8. >Slinking onto your bed, you think as hard as you can about why you are so boring
  9. >A few more minutes into self-loathing, you hop to your feet with new found determination
  10. >You will go out and you will have fun, damn it!
  11. >It takes a bit by car, but you find yourself at a lively bar and grill in the lower west part of the city
  12. >Though having never been to this particular area, you figure it will just add to the adventure
  13. >After all, what could possibly go wrong?
  14. >Sitting by people, you think, will increase your chance of making new a friend perhaps
  15. >Even some light conversation would bring your mind back to being a social creature!
  16. >You grab a stool by the bar and start your evening with an easy drink
  17. >It takes a little while, but your position makes it impossible for someone to -not- sit next to you
  18. >To your surprise, the first someone to sit beside you is actually some pony
  19. >You do not mind ponies, you reason, and you work with enough of them to warrant conversation
  20. >"Hey there, you're new around here, huh?"
  21. >The pony speaks coolly with you before flashing a smile
  22. "Yes, just... Passing through."
  23. >You grimace at your own coldness before trying to warm up
  24. "I mean, for a bite to eat. I don't actually live far from here."
  25. >The little unicorn smiles with you and stretches lightly
  26. >Her hair is a flagrant green and she wears a simple outfit as most ponies who live on Earth usually do
  27. >"So, just looking for a good time tonight?"
  28. >Thinking about it, you have to agree
  29. "Yeah, yes! That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Just been such a long time since I've just gone out and done something, you know?"
  30. >"Oh, I can imagine."
  31. >You sip at your drink before sitting it back down
  32. "Heh, you work a lot too, I take it?"
  33. >"Absolutely."
  34. >A little chuckle slips from her mouth as she stares up to you
  35. >Her blue eyes are full and robust and it makes you feel comfortable
  36. >You take another sip of your drink before noticing that your new acquaintance is just sitting there
  37. "Oh, hey, can I get you something to drink?"
  38. >"Oh, for me? You're quick."
  39. >She winks at you and you laugh nervously
  40. "Haha, well, you know? I just hate eating in front of others."
  41. >"I'd love a drink. Mind if I get your name?"
  42. "Anonymous, but you can call me, 'Anon'."
  43. >She nods with an increasingly wide grin
  44. >"Everyone just calls me, 'Note'. Nice to meet you, Anon."
  45. >You quickly set Note up with a drink
  46. "So, um, mind if I ask you what you do?"
  47. >She eyes you over her drink before setting it down carefully
  48. >"Human and pony relations."
  49. >She smirks again and you nod enthusiastically
  50. "Management, huh? Tough stuff, but that explains your workload."
  51. >She smiles confidently before giggling
  52. >"I suppose you could call it that. So, tell me about you?"
  53. "Well, I'm just an engineer for the radio towers around town. Good work, but boring."
  54. >"And lonesome?"
  55. >You nod and frown lightly
  56. "It can be, I try to keep busy."
  57. >Despite how sad this sounds, you are simply giddy to be talking with someone
  58. >"Huh, that's a shame. I personally don't believe anyone should be alone."
  59. "Hey, don't mind me, but are you hungry?"
  60. >"A little."
  61. "Could I get you something?"
  62. >"Nah, not from here. Personally, the food's lousy."
  63. >She puts a hoof up as to shield her whisper from the staff
  64. >"Hey, come closer."
  65. >You do as she says only to feel a pair of warm lips leave a dry kiss on your cheek
  66. >In a hushed tone, Note speaks quickly
  67. >"Why don't we go to your place and let -me- do the cooking."
  68. >You pull back slightly to see a beaming muzzle
  69. >Perhaps your new acquaintance intends to be faster friends!
  70. >Leaving with Note in tow, you continue learning about each other on the car ride back
  71. >She seems to be like a really upstanding young pony
  72. >Both knowledgeable in various subjects and pretty quick witted, you find yourself being quiet taken by the little pony
  73. >You arrive at your modest apartment and gladly invite Note in
  74. >Thankfully, your terminal bachelorhood keeps your place clean and neat
  75. >"Nice apartment, Anon."
  76. "Glad you like it."
  77. >You take a seat on your sofa and recline lightly
  78. >Note roams about for a few moments before turning to you
  79. >"Hmm, the bedroom looks comfy."
  80. >You smirk at her
  81. "I guess it can be."
  82. >"But, you know what?"
  83. >Note's eyes focus intently on you as she moves towards you
  84. >Her enthused face creeps into a knowing smile as her hooves find their way on to your knees
  85. >"It's been a while. Maybe I could keep you warm tonight?"
  86. >You are both completely terrified and beyond excited about physical company and compose yourself as best you can
  87. "That sounds like a plan."
  88. >The feeling of a warm, slightly fuzzy body slides atop of you
  89. >Delicate hooves take hold of your face and angel your head so as to see eye to eye
  90. "D-do you think we might be moving too fast?"
  91. >"You think?"
  92. >An audible zip raises into the air as you feel your pants loosen
  93. >"I can take it slower, if you want?"
  94. "No, no. This pace seems just fine."
  95. >Your voice is quickly muffled as a soft pair of lips presses against your own
  96. >The night moves onward in the best way you can think of
  97.
  98. >The next morning
  99. >Be Anonymous
  100. >You awaken to the smell of food, pancakes to be precise
  101. >Your pelvis hurts and you smell like wet straw
  102. >Stretching out in front of the mirror, you see a hoof print on your side and a dull bite mark on your shoulder
  103. >It was a pretty good night!
  104. >Stepping out into the kitchen, you see Note wearing one of your T-shirts with a plate of food before her
  105. >"Hey, Anon, good morning. I took a shower, hope you don't mind."
  106. >She stuffs some syrupy food into her muzzle and smiles
  107. "Yeah, sure, no problem."
  108. >You sit beside her and she stuffs a bit of breakfast into your mouth
  109. >"You were fun last night. Was it everything you wanted?"
  110. "Um, yes?"
  111. >The question rings strangely to you
  112. >"I'm glad you enjoyed it, but I should be heading back."
  113. "Oh, where do you need to go?"
  114. >"Should be heading to work."
  115. "Where do you work? I'll take you."
  116. >"Oh, near the bar. You remember, right? where you picked me up last night?"
  117. "Wait, I think I missed something."
  118. >"Come on, Anon, you're such a joker. It's kind of cute."
  119. >You stare at her in utter confusion for the moment before she too returns a worried glance
  120. >"I'm sorry, I think we had a misunderstanding in our contract. You were looking for an escort last night, right? That's why you picked me up and took me home?"
  121. >A sudden chill runs up your spine
  122. "Y-you were just working?!"
  123. >"Well, yeah. I saw you sitting all sad in your corner and just knew you needed someone. You said you enjoyed it, though, so that's good, yeah?"
  124. >A sick feeling builds up in your stomach
  125. "So... So, you didn't just find me... Attractive? Last night meant nothing?"
  126. >"Anon, I certainly wouldn't call it, 'Nothing'! I pride myself on excellent service and putting the customer first!"
  127. "Not that! I thought we had something last night."
  128. >"Well, I'll admit you were pretty good. If it's any consultation, I came twice and I can't say all of my clients put that much effort into it."
  129. >You feel betrayed and confused and just a little more than angry
  130. "I... I don't know. It's just... It doesn't matter. How much do I owe you?"
  131. >"Oh, we're a pretty new business. This one is complimentary. I was actually wondering if I could have you leave some of my cards where you work? Networking is half the battle."
  132. >Her smile seems so genuine as she looks to you
  133. >You sigh and nod in despair
  134. >"Hey now, Anon, don't look so blue. As my first human customer, I'll make sure you always can reserve me whenever you want."
  135. >Note's nonchalant attitude tears your emotions in half
  136. >You do what seems right and drop her off where you first met
  137. >As you drive away, you catch her waving in the rearview mirror
  138. >With a heavy sigh, you try to shake away the shame of sleeping with a call-girl while simultaneously adding her number to your phone
  139. >Friendship will never be the same
  140.

  174. "Heh, you work a lot too, I take it?"
  175. >"Absolutely."
  176. >A little chuckle slips from his mouth as he rests his hooves on the counter
  177. >His blue eyes are full and robust and it makes you feel comfortable
  178. >You take another sip of your drink before noticing that your new acquaintance is just sitting there
  179. "Oh, hey, can I get you something to drink?"
  180. >"Oh, for me? Nah, I’m cool."
  181. >He winks at you and you laugh nervously
  182. "Haha, well, you know? I just hate eating in front of others."
  183. >"If you want, I’d definitely drink it. Mind if I get your name?"
  184. "Anonymous, but you can call me, 'Anon'."
  185. >He nods with an increasingly wide grin
  186. >"My name is Billet-Doux Everyone just calls me, 'Billy'. Nice to meet you, Anon."
  187. >You quickly set Billy up with a drink
  188. "So, um, mind if I ask you what you do?"
  189. >He eyes you over his drink before setting it down carefully
  190. >"Oh, you know… Rough saddle work."
  191. >He smirks again and you nod enthusiastically
  192. "Outdoors-type stuff, huh? Tough stuff, but that explains your workload."
  193. >He smiles confidently before chuckling
  194. >"I suppose you could call it that. So, tell me about you?"
  195. "Well, I'm just an engineer for the radio towers around town. Good work, but boring."
  196. >"Sounds lonely?"
  197. >You nod and frown lightly
  198. "It can be, I try to keep busy."
  199. >Despite how sad this sounds, you are simply giddy to be talking with someone
  200. >"Huh, that's a shame. I personally don't believe anyone should be alone."

  205. >He puts a hoof up as to shield his whisper from the staff
  206. >"Hey, come here."
  207. >You do as he says and feel warm breathe tickle your ear
  208. >In a hushed tone, Billy speaks quickly
  209. >"Why don't we head to your place and I’ll -order in-?"
  210. >You pull back slightly to see a beaming muzzle
  211. >You think pizza or Chinese would be perfect right now!
  212. >Leaving with Billy in tow, you continue learning about each other on the car ride back
  213. >He seems to be a really upstanding young pony and you admire his work ethic
  214. >Both knowledgeable in various subjects and pretty quick witted, you find yourself really enjoying his conversations
  215. >You arrive at your modest apartment and gladly invite Billy in
  216. >Thankfully, your terminal bachelorhood keeps your place clean and neat
  217. >"Nice apartment, Anon."
  218. "Glad you like it."
  219. >You take a seat on your sofa and recline lightly
  220. >Billy roams about for a few moments before turning to you
  221. >"Hmm, king-sized bed for just you?"
  222. >You smirk at him
  223. "I guess so. I find myself moving a lot at night, haha."
  224. >"I know that feeling."
  225. >Billy's eyes focus intently as he moves towards you
  226. >His enthused face creeps into a knowing smile as his hooves find their way on to your knees
  227. >"It's been a while. Maybe I could keep you warm tonight?"
  228. >Delicate hooves take hold of your face and slant your head so as to see eye to eye
  229. >A strange feeling grips your gut as the bright, blue eyes peer into you
  230. >His mouth darts towards your own and you are taken in a deep kiss
  231. >A thick, hot tongue presses into your own and you hardly have time to scream
  232. >Billet-Doux pulls back after a moment of your teeth closing on his muzzle
  233. “What was that?!”
  234. >The pony looks visibly shaken as he staggers back a few feet
  235. >”I’m sorry, but you looked like you needed to loosen up a bit.”
  236. “Dude, why did you just French me?!”
  237. >”Look, I know I’m new to the whole human-on-pony thing, but ladies love my kissing.”
  238. >The words echo in your mind for a few moments as bewilderment settles
  239. “Ladies?”
  240. >”Women, babes, girls, mares, whatever you want to call yourself.”
  241. “I think there’s been a misunderstanding. I’m not a girl…”
  242. >He stops for a moment with mouth agape
  243. >”Wait, no, that can’t be. I was sure… Hang on.”
  244. >Billy quickly retrieves a pamphlet with pony scribe on it and looks it over
  245. >He checks the paper, then you, and then back to the paper
  246. >”OK, so I am kind of new, like I said, but this should not have been so hard. It says right here that human females are cute and talkative and like to make friends. On the other hoof, human males are more reserved and like something called, ‘Football’ and nachos.”
  247. >You ask to see his misguided flyer and scan it over
  248. >The advice you see from top to bottom is the most blatant stereotyping possible for humans and it looks as if it was a tourist’s map to another country!
  249. “I am sorry to tell you this, but this guide is terrible and I’m not a woman.”
  250. >”Well, why do you look like the cute human women then?! Why did you pick me up?”
  251. “I thought we were being friends!”
  252. >”We are, Anon! It’s just, well, my job!”
  253. “The hell does that mean?”
  254. >”I’m a masseur!”
  255. “You give massages?”
  256. >”Yes, but also a range of other -comforting- services for humans… You know, like snuggling and… oral sex…”
  257. “You’re a prostitute?!”
  258. >”You picked me up at a bar! Yes, I’m a prostitute and a damn good one… In Ponyville!”
  259. “Is that legal?”
  260. >”Oh, certainly, you see, it works on a complicated system of contract working and…”
  261. “OK, stop! I get it!”
  262. >There is a moment of silence while you stare to the strange pony in your living room
  263. >Your lips tingle with a cool chill as you think about what just happened
  264. >As you touch them, Billet-Doux smirks
  265. >”Oh, um, peppermint flavored lip balm. It goes a long way!”
  266. “I think you should leave.”
  267. >”What? Are you sure you want me to go?”
  268. “Yes, I am sure.”
  269. >”So, you don’t need or want my services?”
  270. “I am not gay, Billy.”
  271. >”Well… I’m not either! In my defense, you look cute.”
  272. >You freeze for the moment at the compliment
  273. >It is strange coming from anyone, especially a pony
  274. >”I’ll just go then…”
  275. “Wait, no, hang on…”
  276. >Billy turns his head slightly over his shoulder with a quizzical look on his face
  277. “H-how much per hour?”
  278. >”Um, I guess it depends what we do.”
  279. “What if we just, like, watch a movie?”
  280. >”Um, I don’t know… 20 bits?”
  281. “What’s that in euros?”
  282. >He shrugs quickly before fidgeting about
  283. >”I’m, ah, well, this is my first day doing this on Earth… It’s kind of a whole new ballgame. No pun intended.”
  284. “It’s… OK? Yeah, it’s fine by me. What do you say about us starting over again as friends and we’ll put all that kissing stuff behind us?”
  285. >”Sure, yeah! I’d really like that.”
  286. >You step lightly to Billy and extend your hand and he puts his hoof in gingerly
  287. >With a light squeeze and shake, you smirk
  288. “So, have you seen any human movies yet?”
  289. >”One, but, umm… No, actually, no.”
  290. >He blushes and his ears bounce nervously
  291. “Well, if you’d stay for a bit, we can watch something cool.”
  292. >”With explosions?”
  293. “With all the explosions…”
  294. >You brandish the complete box set of Transformers by Michael Bay
  295. >It was a platonic kind of night!
