- WHAT
- E3's third annual Sustainable Art Competition is an opportunity for students to showcase innovative artwork that conveys a sustainable message and utilizes recycled and reused materials.
- WHEN
- Artwork will be on display April 22 between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm for voting. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
- WHERE
- Bruin Plaza
- PARTICIPATION
- UCLA students, alumni, faculty and staff, as individuals or as groups, are eligible to participate.
- EVALUATION CRITERIA
- 1. Significant and innovative use of recycled/reused material (optional, not required)
- 2. Impact and creativity of theme: How well your piece conveys a sustainable message
- 3. Overall presentation/impression
- PRIZES
- There will be prizes of ASUCLA gift cards provided for the top three entries according to votes by the public on Earth Day.
- RESTRICTIONS
- Form of Art: Art must be able to be hung/mounted on an easel or be able to stand alone on a flat surface (floor or table).
- DEADLINE: April 17
- Submissions must be submitted to the Sustainable Resource Center (Kerckhoff 160) by April 17th between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. If this time does not work please email either of the contacts below.
