He then remembers "Oh, there's a sword in the churchyard!" and somehow forgets the whole "king" deal. Arthur sneaks in, yanks the sword off the anvil with ease and walks away like it wasn’t no big deal. He rides back to the tournament and gives it to Kay, who immediately recognizes it and goes "Hey Dad! Does this mean I'm king?" Once Ector stopped cracking up, he realized Arthur was king, and lead THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT back to the Church, has Arthur put the sword in the anvil again, gives everyone a shot at pulling it out, and then Arthur yanks it out again.
