Fight like a Snake

Recka looks to the hand from his grounded positioning for a overdue moment, as his dirty hands scratch through his matching charcoal black hair he'd get up looking to have decided on not taking the hand.

From here he looked the lot of them before stepping back and bowing with closed eyes to greet.....most likely.

[11:49] Aki brings herself back onto the chair to rest since she has been traveling for some now.

He brings his hand back and mimics his gesture, bowing towards the denizens of the dojo. A bit overdue but it's better late than never.

"So... Uh. What am I supposed to do for now? Like, while I wait for the tournament."

Suddenly, he remembers Kirai's statement. Self control, composure, manners.

"...Er, sir."

[11:53] Recka eyes widen once he bows back now he drops into a very novice fighting stance waiting for his...opponent to do the same?

[11:54] Nash Ampert says, "hum...hello"
[11:54] Bowing in response to Recka, Kirai's kindly smile would slip briefly into a bemused grin accompanied by a small chortling. "Welcome to the Kurokaiyo clan Dojo." He'd say simply, before shifting his gaze to Solon.

"For now, live your life, do what you wish. Refine yourself, feel free to train with my other students. But I cannot allow you to be involved with formal lessons until you are officially one of my disciples." He'd answer Solon.

Then, shifting his gaze to Recka, his brows would rise as he sees the child assume a fighting stance. Had Kirai missed something?

He nodded his head... Before looking towards Recka, eyes just as wide as his.

"I... Wha?"

Out of pure confusion, he enters a fighting stance just like Recka.

"...Like this?

[11:56] Recka exclaims, "!!!"
[11:56] Solon says, "..."
[11:56] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "If you two intend to spar, move to the arena please."
[11:57] Solon says, "I'll be sure'ta make it over there before I get my ass kicked, sir."
[11:57] ran in trying to punch and kick even as Kirai spoke.

[11:57] Hebi decides to step forward to speak after Zach has left and after hearing the others who have stayed there.

Suddenly his eyes become more noticeable after he turns his back on the nearby torch, and his black hair is less apparent.

He then uses sign language and some commonly understood gestures to say that he would take care of Solon and Recka.

Hebi enters the middle of the two and invites them to the dojo, where he would do their will and fight one at a time to quench their fighting desires.

[11:59] Solon raised his arms up to block the punches and kicks. Suddenly, Hebi gets in the middle of them. A sigh of relief escaped him as a pretty nasty situation just got averted.

He looks at Hebi's gestures carefully and nods his head.

"...Arena. Got it."

[11:59] Miu had been standing by, silently listening to the conversation. She felt it would be best to back up and sit next to Aki instead of being at the middle of the scene, and so she did.

[12:01] Recka squints as he's stopped by Hebi, rubbing his eyes he back up before looking to First: The dojo, Second: Solon, And Third: Hebi. Alternating through this for a while he scratches his face walking towards the arena.

[12:04] Reaching the middle of the arena, Hebi takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a moment, taking a position similar to Kirai's, trying to mimic what he had seen the other day.

As he lets out his air, his body quickly moves to a different position, his fists close to his body, engaging with the aura and becoming as tough as iron.

"WhO... FiRsT?" He asks in his strange, trembling voice.

[12:07] The boy sniffs wiping his nose before he jerks forwards at the presence of power radiating from the man. Reflexively moving back by Solon he looks between him and Hebi a bit unsure of what's going on.

[12:08] Solon points to himself. With a swift nod of his head and steels himself. His muscles clench and his mana spews forth. He eyes down Hebi and thinks... 'Damn, I'm probably outclassed.'

Before attacking though, he turns towards Recka, who also seems raring to fight.

"Mm... What if me and Recka fight for it." He asked, using easy to understand gestures as he spoke, for Hebi's sake.

[12:15] Hebi reads Recka's lips, a rather interesting suggestion, perhaps they were a little afraid after seeing Hebi's aura even though the differences didn't seem so glaring.

Then his muscles relax and he gets out of his fighting stance.

Using simple gestures he indicates that he accepts the suggestion and that both could fight first, but that would be to Hebi's advantage, as he would discover their fighting style and thus be better prepared to fight either of them winning.

One thing he has learned from his father is that you should never underestimate the enemy, treat everyone as equals and always do your best, even if they are just teenagers.

[12:19] Solon makes his way towards where Hebi was once standing. There, he'd once again steel himself and get ready to fight.

He was a bit nervous though. Recka seemed like the type confident in his ability to fight and if he lost, it'd be seen by the people watching.

With clenched fists, he shakes his head, trying to get these unnecessary thoughts out of his brain.

"Ready."

[12:21] Gendo sticks his thumb over his shoulder at the two people facing off.

[12:24] Recka looks forwards, he'd seemed to daze out into a daydream as they spoke about the plan for what looked to be a brief sparring latter. So As Solon visibly conflicted with what could have been Recka's brute like nature The boy--now picking his ear wipes his hand on ragged shorts before spreading his feet apart.

Clenching his fist his arms are then thrown open as he took his stance, while it was likely nothing special compared to Solon's in actuality he was sure ready to fight that was for sure.

"Ruh." He said in response.

"Sure. Feel free to take a seat and enjoy a bit of combat."

[12:28] Solon raised his fists, sweat dripping from his brow.

[12:29] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "I do, but I would not be eager to teach it to someone with such an unapologetically vulgar mouth..."
[12:29] Recka hops back up quick as ever as he gets into a stance saying:

[12:30] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Kageken is a martial arts style that utilizes both martial grace and magical cunning."
[12:30] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Yes."

He looked at Recka carefully though. If he was too hurt to continue, he would stop.

[12:36] Hebi could not hear that something was going on beside the arena as his eyes remained focused on the fight, so he could not read the lips of others around.

[12:37] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "Ah-. Well... I don't think I'll be able to do much in a fight against people who've actually trained."
[12:38] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Of course, I will hold a tournament for prizes every few years."
[12:38] Vincenzo Dillinger exclaims, "Frankly, I am more concerned with what I'll end up eating tomorrow, Ah!"

[12:38] Recka slides back dropping to a knee as he breathed heavily eyeing the battles victor.

He said reading the males lips, with it hopefully apparent to all he was acknowledging his opponents strength. Even with this compliment however he would get up with a pissed off look on his face and wipe his mouth before walking off.

[12:41] would have begun to walk forward, stepping from the darkness. He stalkishly assesses every person, unmoving.

"I met a girl." is all that is said for the moment. There was absolutely no context to such a thing.

[12:44] The sudden announcement made by Aiyamari piqued Miu's interest. She turned her attention towards her and a curious spark lit behind her gray eyes, "Oh?"

[12:45] Hebi is impressed by Solon's strength, clearly there was a big difference in strength. He then approaches Recka and pats him on the back, smiling and nodding Ok so that he won't be shaken, after all defeat is also a learning experience.

The snake's eyes then turn to Solon.

"GoOD..." He says with his trembling and weird voice.

"NoW... uS."

He had sensed his opponent's strength and knew that he definitely could not take it easy on the teenager, Hebi then approaching the middle of the arena and stepping back closer to the shadows.

With fists clenched he takes his fighting stance, the Kageken style he was trying to emulate from his uncle, the aura begins to emanate, he was ready for the fight.

[12:46] Recka stubbornly walks out with his hands in his pockets.

Without even realizing it, Solon swallows. A nervous tick brought upon by a wave of immense pressure.

He didn't understand it, but they way Hebi's gaze and the way he stepped into the darkness of the arena put him on edge. The very same darkness that hindered his vision during the fight with Recka.

With a deep breath, he readies himself. If his eyes would fail him, then he'd use his ears. Smell. Anything that'd let him strike more accurately.

"Ready."

[12:49] walks back inwards bumping into the tailed one harshly as he chewed on the end of stick present in his mouth.

[12:50] would have walked with a hunched back towards Vincenzo, openly sizing him once.
"Uh." He grunts once before extending a hand forward. Perhaps he would find an easier time communicating to the other predators.
"Legosi." He introduces.

[12:50] Gendo Kurokaiyo says, "I appreciate that Aki."
[12:50] Aiyamari Kurokaiyo says, "Getting material and getting good in with the blacksmith benefits the clan immensely."
[12:51] Yami Kurokaiyo says, "Ight well..."
[12:52] Aki Kurokaiyo says, "Alright be safe."
[12:52] Yami Kurokaiyo says, "Ima get whooped again."
[12:52] Miu Kurokaiyo says, "Yes, be safe."
[12:52] seemed to bump into Recka on the way over here, should that be the case, it was likely that the frail boy would have fallen on his backside from close encountering the beastman.
He looked to Recka, not saying anything, before responding to Vince.

"Vee. So you aren't a colleague." He gathers, retracting his hand thereafter.

[12:55] Miu Kurokaiyo exclaims, "Oh!"
[12:55] Hebi's movements were like a snake's, he gracefully moved through the shadows, he was improving on the Kageken technique, maybe he even used too much strenght, but his opponent was strong and Hebi knew it.

He then maintains his slippery form to deflect the blows as much as possible and continues the fight.

[12:56] step by step the odd plant-esque teenager makes way towards Kirai. Now staring up at his uncle.

Silence ensues. Everyone knew what the greenbean wanted.

With each strike Solon landed on Hebi, he responded with an even greater one. It's as if he was fighting a better, more skilled version of himself.

Try as he might to waive of Hebi's assault, the Kurokaiyo breaks through his guard and sends him crashing into the ground. The damage was apparent as it took him a while to get back up again.

"...I can continue."

[12:58] Julius has been pacing around the Dojo for a few minutes now. He tries to talk and stutters. With a sniff he stops himself, before breathing deep to pipe up and yell out to no one in particular-

"The King of Bandits; Lord of The Forest and Leader of the Hundred-Man-Army would … W-would like to join this dojo!

I will graciously protect it with my forces, should you choose to submit!"

[13:00] Miu smiles, pleased. "Oh, I'd be glad to spar with either of you; I know you're both very skilled," she said.

Miu looked at Ai, then back at Aki. She looked a bit occupied. "Perhaps it should be just us for now, I'll bother her about it later."

[13:00] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "If he can beat three of you"

[13:00] Miu paused her train of thought, now absorbing the scene.

[13:01] Julius asks, "A-And did you say three?"
[13:01] Aki Kurokaiyo says, "Kageken."
[13:02] Ai rolls up his sleeves to reveal now pristine and white bandages tightly strapped to his hands and arms.

"Do I get to go first? Uncle."

[13:02] Julius suddenly seems unsure.

[13:02] would have continued to stare at the coyish traveler, his eyes were like scopes and his pupils registering as dotted reticles pointing directly at the other sub-human. They seemed to analyze character, more specifically weakness - in this case he noticed a lack of fastidious verve from Vince. Most people displayed that characteristic. It was an observation he could care less about.

"This is a dojo." He states the obvious.
"It is run by a family, the Kurokaiyo." Legosi continues, rubbing at his sharp molars with his elongated nails mid-speech.

"Here, you can learn how to be a combatant, and follow a code." He explains.

[13:02] Aiyamari Kurokaiyo says, "Yes."
[13:03] Julius still doesn't seem sure.

[13:03] Recka's arms spread open as his eyes widen with they're red slits becoming apparent in this instance. Looking at Julius akin to a predator it's prey in a animal documentary he completes his stance.

[13:04] Hebi was a little excited about the fight, he used the shadows to aid in deflecting and blocking Solon's blows while doing fast and accurate strikes.

He had a smile on his face as he still kept his movements fluid and precise, his eyes twinkling each time he hid in the shadows again. Being the oldest of the Kurokaiyos after his uncles he was also the most experienced and had seen most of Kirai's techniques.

His deafness was no hindrance in his fights, he learned to feel presence through senses other than hearing, just as a snake deciphered the environment through his tongue and skin, Hebi deciphered the environment through his skin.

In one strong last stroke, Hebi uses both fists together that hit Solon's chest, causing him to be thrown a few feet away.

[13:04] Vincenzo Dillinger exclaims, "Hmm... If so, I'll have to say no- Not that entering a dojo is a bad idea, of course! Knowing how to punch certain is something I would enjoy to do, honestly!"
[13:05] casual steps are made forward as Ai's blinking seemed to have stopped entirely for the moment. A ballet stance of sorts is taken.

"Indecisiveness is the murderer of time. Decide quickly please." passively states the teen, not seeking to be too pushy persay. But at the same time definitely rushing the lad into a battle.

[13:05] Julius exclaims, "!!!"
[13:05] Miu looked at the strange bandit man. She slid her eyes away from him to her feet in a submissive expression. "If I must," she relied to Aki.

Her cheeks warmed with rushing blood. Such a dumb child... I should grow out of this aversion to strangers. This isn't what adults feel, she thought.

[13:05] Legosi says, "Have someone lead you to the countryside."
[13:05] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "The countryside? "
[13:06] Shinji Kurokaiyo says, "Did.. I miss something? I was a little lost but Yami saved me."
[13:06] As the fight went on, the differences in their abilities was more apparent. With extreme speed and grace, Hebi shifted into and out of the darkness of the arena, dodging Solon's attacks and pelting him with harder ones.

The strikes that Solon actually managed to land were lackluster, and he would again, get smacked up for his troubles.

It didn't take long before finally, his guard falls and he was hit with the knockout blow. A strike using two fists that sent him flying across the arena.

"...Gah!"

He tries to stand up for another round but his body wouldn't let him. The very most he could do was bring himself up into a kneeling position.

"Yeah... I'm goin'ta have to stay like this for a while. It's crazy'ta think there're people as strong as you... Or even stronger. Makes the world seem so much bigger."

He raises his arm towards Hebi, gesturing for a handshake.

"Good fight."

[13:07] Recka exclaims, "Rahdy!"
[13:07] Miu Kurokaiyo says, "Oh, a bit. There's a challenger here... Something about fighting three of us."
[13:07] Legosi says, "I''ll be the one to tell you, we haven't much provisions for strangers."
[13:07] Legosi says, "You'll survive better off the land."
[13:07] Aki Kurokaiyo says, "Mhm what Miu said."
[13:08] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "True, that is how I ended up here by chance."
[13:08] Julius jerks his head back as Aiyamari approaches... and responds with a quick pose of his own!

"Y'alright. But don't go crying to no knights, ya hear?!" And with that, the ruffian rushes forward and aims to deliver a staggering kick to Aiyamari's jaw! He definitely knew the BASCICS of fighting with his fists. But what potential did he truly have against those who had been born and raised for this exact purpose?

[13:08] Legosi says, "There are many people struggling out there."
[13:08] Vincenzo Dillinger says, "I know, I've grown with such people after all."
[13:08] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "Worry not, "Bandit King" we don't rely on the city to solve our problems."
[13:08] Kirai Kurokaiyo says, "I handle them. Personally."
[13:08] Julius exclaims, "...I really like the sound of that actually!"
[13:08] Vincenzo Dillinger exclaims, "I'll take my leave soon enough. I believe I have already rested- I just want to see what would happen to this "bandit king", first!"
[13:08] Aki watches to two fight it out and like wise she had her money on Aiyamari.

[13:09] Legosi says, "Yes."
[13:09] Recka relaxes as it seemed the girls had taken the prey...soooo from here he agitatedly walks over to the wall.

He taunts, aiming to rush forward and finish the fight while he still had the chance! He needed all the energy he could get if he wanted to fight two more of these monsters!

[13:14] Hebi comes out of his combat stance and approaches Solon to shake his hand, he had already noticed the boy's clothes, maybe he had not had so many opportunities in life.

"DiScIpLiEe... KuRokAIyo." He speaks in his trembling voice and then points at Kirai.

"YoUR oOpOrTuNiTy, cOmE tO tHE ToUrNaMeNt, stUDy AnD pUt On NEw cLOtHeS iN yOUr LiFe."

His expression was one of anger, but inside he was happy.

[13:15] Ai is pushed back! a few back handsprings are performed as means of catching themselves and righting their stance. A bruise was indefinitely present upon his cheek from the battle previous.

Taunts didn't seem to effect the green bean all that much. After all, he was a Kurokaiyo after all.

"How fortuitous." casually states the teen before once more bringing about his stance.

[13:15] Standing besides his siblings he crossed his arms while leaning on his heel. His interest had been peaked by the challenger who wasn't doing bad at all..

"Oi.. Aki. What do you think?.. Should I get some practice in and join them?" He asked with a concentrated look. His palms slightly sweating as he watched the two.. Compared to the rest of his family in the past he'd been on the weaker side.

This fight made him nervous.

[13:18] Solon happily shakes Hebi's hand, committing the Kurokaiyo's name into memory, especially after the effort he put into saying it. Hebi's last statement confused him though.

"...New clothes?"

He tilts his head, before looking down at himself. Yeah, he could see where Hebi was coming from. He was damn filthy.

"Yeah, I'll try my best'ta get some new threads. Maybe I'll get some before the tournament starts, if I'm lucky."
