- Throughout the world on every screen possible, two witches were seen flying to save a country from destruction. Everyone had been cheering the witches on, giving them their magic. They all wanted to see them succeed.
- But one particular person was watching with a different feeling. It wasn't hope for the witches, it was hope for their self. Something extraordinary was unfolding behind their blue eyes, and they weren't sure that anyone else in the world realized the true implications of what they were doing. Well, perhaps the witches themselves. The person noted that their broom was a variation of the "Shiny Volley", as Shiny Chariot had called it many years ago. Those witches could wield the Claiomh Solais. The Grand Teskellion was about to be released. Or, perhaps, it already had. It didn't matter to them.
- Yggdrasil would finally show itself once again.
- "Right as I had begin to lose hope too. "
- The person stood up from their chair and made their way over to a drawer. Inside was a photograph of five other people. The person stared at it for a moment, frowning, then pushed it aside. They pulled out a small black box filled with cards, each with two names, a location, and a strange description.
- "You may have disagreed with my ideals in the end, but your research will not go in vain, dear friend."
- The person then picked up the phone from on top of the drawer and pushed a button. After waiting a moment, someone picked up.
- "Mx. Vaile, you called?"
- "Lance, have you seen the broadcasts going on?"
- "Yes, I have. Is it...?"
- "Yes, it's finally time. Our mission is about to begin."
- Mx. Vaile smiled softly. Lance didn't respond for a moment, but then laughed.
- "It's hard to believe... then let's cheer those witches on in the meantime. Their success is vital."
- "Of course, of..." Mx. Vaile trailed off looking at the screen closer. More specifically, the melon-haired girl. Diana Cavendish.
- "...Lance, I'm going to bring you the locations of stand users in this area in a moment. Please confirm their locations. Afterwards, send one to the Cavendish manor."
- The line went silent for a moment. The tension in the air was undeniable. It had been many years since Mx. Vaile had last even spoke that name.
- "Understood." Lance finally spoke again. "Diana would be a threat to our plan if she were to manifest a stand, especially if it was as powerful as--"
- "I know. Send someone strong enough to get the job done. That girl is a prodigy, from what I hear. Maybe she already has activated her stand. Either way, we need to prevent any threat that would come in our way. Even if..." Mx. Vaile sighed. "It doesn't matter, just get to it. Please."
- "I will. I'll see you in a few moments, then."
- Mx. Vaile hung up the phone. They gripped onto the top of the drawer tightly. For a moment, they considered calling Lance back and cancelling their order. They knew he would understand, as he always did. Even after what they had gone through so many years ago, going as far as to kill Diana seemed--
- A bright blue flash from their eyes cleared their thoughts. They felt a wave of calmness and relief flood over them, then turned back to the screen.
- "I'm going to see this through until the end. No matter what it takes. What I am doing is what humanity needs."
- They stared at Diana, watching her shoot a giant magic arrow with the brown-haired witch. They ignored the wave of green that flooded the skies for a moment, continuing to watch.
- "Soon you will understand that... Arthur."
- They turned the screen off and went downstairs.
