- Hey everyone! I hope your 2022 is off to a great start. I've got another 12 Hour Challenge for you all to enjoy.
- As a reminder for anyone new here, the 12 Hour Challenge is a simple concept. On the weekend of February 4-6, participants try to learn a new speedrun in 12 hours or less. Players of all skill levels are invited to join the fun. You learn at your own pace, and you decide when throughout the weekend you want to take part. Invite your friends to learn the same game for a cooperative experience, or tackle it on your own. Use whatever guides, resources, or friends' brains you desire to help you learn as much as possible. Don't sweat the details, because the goal is to finish your first run before the 12 hours are up!
- I also need your help spreading the news of the challenge. If you could please assist by retweeting the announcement tweet, upvoting the post on r/speedrun, and using #12HourChallenge on social media, that would be much appreciated!

- "Speed Dating"
- Since we're so close to Valentine's Day, I thought it might be fun to have you learn a speedrun where the main character rescues their love. I'll leave this open to your interpretation.
- Note: The theme is OPTIONAL and you can still do the challenge even if you aren't doing the theme, but some poor video game protagonist is going to be spending Valentine's Day alone if you don't :(
