  1. Everyday was the same.
  2. Nothing happened to change the days
  3. I worked all days and on certain days, I worked all night until dawn hit the horizon and in the sky's of Paris. That was until Mon petite fille told me about a ghost that changed everything.
  4.
  5. Madame Hub
  6.
  7. Qui, I remember meeting her for the first time during a business meeting when she asked for Mon petit fils, Gameloft to help her make some mobile games for a few shows she made with her Mari, Hasbro. If I remember those games are still up and running. I took them over since Gameloft decided to step down.
  8. Hm, this wasn't so long ago. I do remember this was before Hub had "passed" and Hasbro remarried to someone named "Discovery Family". I've seen her only once but that was enough to know something was off about her.
  9. She seemed..robotic.
  10. But that could have been my imagination.
  11. Going back to Hub, Syfy wanted me to meet her since she told about how much Hub has helped her whenever I was gone.
  12. At first I was confused.
  13. When Syfy was telling me about Manquer Hub, this was after her "passing". I thought she had completely lost it and gone mad when she said that she was "talking to spirits".
  14. I had asked her, "Am I able to meet her?"
  15. She had said, "Yes of course. I just have to find her. Sometimes she's playing with Sprout." Then she left the room.
  16. I waited, thought to myself, "Maybe she's just seeing things. That's been happening a lot to her lately." Then I thought out loud.
  17. "If Hub is really helping through these problems then I should be able to thank her for her kindness."
  18. The room suddenly got cold, chills up mon spine. As cold as the room got part of it felt..heavy.
  19. I wasn't alone in this room.
  20. It was heavy around me, like a mouse getting the life squeezed out of him by a vicious viper. A presence was in the room and it was around me. I felt breathing near my neck, I became frightened. I felt as if I was about to be murdered and death was the one visiting me. My breath hitched when I heard the poltergeist whisper to me.
  21. "You're welcome, Mister Vivendi."
  22. I quickly turned, almost having a heart attack at the sight I saw.
  23. Madame Hub herself.
  24. Her strands of lavander hair drapped over her shoulders, a small gray bonnet holding the rest of her luscious shade of purple hair in place, she wore a green apron over a shirt and the rest of her body faded, I can see through her. She smiled at me with her emerald eyes that glistened in the brightest of lights. She looked exactly like how I last saw her.
  25. My word, she really was a spirit.
  26. "I didn't scare you did I? I'm sorry, maybe I should have let Syfy bring me to you instead." She said to me apologetically.
  27. "Miss Hub.. Is it really you? Goodness it's been to so long."
  28. "Yes, i'm afraid it is me, and it's been very long since we've last spoke personally. You know without Gameloft by your side." She laughed as her smile widened. I had forgotten about our personal talks. Whenever we would have a meeting either Hasbro or Gameloft or both run late, so it gave us time to talk.
  29. "I'm glad to meet you again, Vivendi."
  30. "And I'm glad that I'm able to see you again."
  31. She said to me enthusiastically, "We have so much to catch up on!"
  32. We talked and drinked all day til night, She told me about how Syfy and her friends were doing, how much she had helped and I thanked her dearly for it We sat quietly for a while til I had asked her the daunting question.
  33. "Does Hasbro know about what you've become?"
  34. She didn't respond for a while. Until she put down her glass, looking down as if she didn't want to look at me and she spoke.
  35. "When I came back as a spirit, the first thing I did was go back to him. What the situation was I didn't come back until about 6 months. He.." She stopped to wipe away her tears. Now I know why she's not looking at me, she didn't want me to see her cry.
  36. "He had already remarried by the time I came back..I couldn't go back to him even if I tried and I've tried. He said that he's moved on already and that I should too.. But I still love him, Vivendi, I really do. I.." She broke down the spot right there. She started sobbing, burying her head into my chest and she let her tears flow. "I don't know what to do, Vivendi.. Our marriage doesn't mean anything anymore." She took off her wedding ring, "This doesn't mean anything to us anymore.." And she throws it to the floor as the room filled with the ring clinked against the hard surface of the floor and the echoed sobs of heartbreak.
  37. I've never seen her so miserable before, her crying is enough to break a man's heart and she is breaking mine. I told her, "You can keep trying, Madame Hub, not by going back to him but you can keep trying to find your true love." I tilted her head up and I wiped away her ghostly tears.
  38. "You'll find them someday and if not sooner."
  39. She had calmed her tears down and smiled, then she hugged me. She hugged me as if she didn't want to let go and I didn't either.
  40. "Oh Vivendi.. You always knew what to say."
  41. We sat in our embrace for a while, none of us wanting to let go. But then she asked me,
  42. "How long do you think it'll be until I find my true love?"
  43. "A while or longer, why?"
  44. She broke away, grabbing her wine glass and turning away from me, "No reason. It's just I had hopes about someone."
  45. "You've had someone in mind already, who is it?"
  46. "Let's just sat that you know them very well." She smiles as she glanced at me.
  47. "Really? How well, well enough like how I know myself?"
  48. She gasped playfully, "I've said too much, Monsieur Vivendi. I must stop myself now."
  49. "How well, Madame Hub?"
  50. "No, no! I mustn't say!" She sighed 'dramatically'.
  51. I grabbed her hand, turned her around and nearly let the glass fall out of her hands. I stared into her bright emerald eyes and I asked one last time. "How,"
  52. Moving her bangs away and I whispered to her ear. "Well, Mon Cheri?"
  53. I felt her shudder against me.
  54. "Almost as if you knew him yourself."
  55.
  56. Everyday was different.
  57. Something happened to change the days
  58. She makes me not stress about work anymore and I don't work daily and nightly as I used to, but we both watch the dawn hit the horizon and in the sky of Paris together.
  59. Everything changed when I met a ghost once again when I thought I wasn't going to ever see her once more.
  60.
  61. Mon amour, Hub
