  1. [some kinda introductory something to stop the beginning being this abrupt]
  2.
  3. In front of the two adventurers was a nondescript wooden door. To the right of it, an oddly shaped stone lever on a pedestal. Cedric opened his mouth to speak, but Aster shoved him to the side and gave the thing a pull. It didn't budge. He yanked harder, bringing his foot up to push against the pedestal. Not an inch. Cedric rolled his eyes and slumped back against the wall.
  4. Aster felt along the slit at the base of the lever, trying to see if there was something stuck at the point where it connected. But there wasn't anything blocking the intended path. In desperate irritation, he ran his hands up and down the shaft trying to find a catch.
  5. "Have you tried looking around for instructions? Or are you going to spend the rest of the day jacking that thing off?" Cedric called from the corner, where he had begun polishing his sword. Aster pulled his hands away as though he'd been caressing a hot poker.
  6. "I'm not- I'm doing nothing of the sort! I'm merely feeling around for a trigger of some kind."
  7. "I'm sure it was all absolutely necessary. I only mention it because it looks like something's carved into the side. There." Cedric waved his hand towards the right side of the pedestal.
  8. Aster looked down. "Heads or tails: Offer either and the path will clear." He frowned at the inscription. "What am I supposed to do with that?"
  9. "Ass or mouth?"
  10. Aster felt his face heat. "What about them?"
  11. "I dunno, lick the thing or sit on it."
  12. "SIT on it?"
  13. "I mean it probably doesn't have to go the whole way up your chute or anything, but-"
  14. "Don't call it that! I'm absolutely not sticking a piece of rock up my... my behind. I'm not a fairy. Of any variety," Aster said with as much dignity as he could manage.
  15. "Didn't say you were. And there's always the other option." Cedric looked up from his sword. Aster, still a vibrant shade of red, was staring meaningfully at him.
  16. "Oh no. You're the one who wanted to charge ahead and open the door and hog all the glory. You can lick the damn thing all by yourself."
  17. "Absolutely not!"
  18. "Then we don't go through," Cedric said petulantly. "And you find someone else to carry your ass through the next dungeon." Aster opened his mouth to object, but he noticed the determined set of his companion's jaw. He was, unfortunately, exactly the sort of man to turn around and walk home purely out of spite.
  19. "You don't carry my ass," Aster grumbled as he turned back to the lever. "If anything, I carry yours."
  20. Cedric scoffed but went back to his polishing. Aster scrunched his eyes shut as tightly as possible, bent down, and gave the top of the lever a tiny kittenish lick. When he peeked again, nothing had changed.
  21. "I guess that wasn't the solution," he said smugly.
  22. "Oh, come on!" Cedric groaned. "Try a little bit harder than that! At least put most of the damn thing in, it's better than ripping your ass apart."
  23.
  24. Aster turned back around, kneeled, and stuck half the lever in his mouth. Cedric began to snicker. The adventurer had intended to let it sit for a few seconds, maybe lick it a little, then spit it back out. But something about the weight of it on his tongue was almost pleasant. The lever seemed strangely warm as well. Not hot, or anything like a real... body part. But not nearly as cold as he expected the stone to be. Aster pushed the length against the inside of his cheek and brought his hand up to hold the thing. It offered him some better leverage. Distantly, in some corner of his mind, he registered that the laughter had stopped. He began absently stroking the shaft again as he clumsily swirled his tongue around the tip. He let out a happy little hum as he bobbed his head up and down and up and down... And suddenly all he could taste was overwhelmingly sweetness.
  25. Aster jerked his head backwards off the lever and began coughing as plumes of purple mist curled out from his mouth and nose. He realized, as the last of the strange smog left him, that at some point he had fallen completely to his knees. He still had an almost musty aftertaste in his mouth, so he wiped it on his shirtsleeve and shakily got to his feet.
  26. Cedric, he noticed, was standing as well. And staring at him as though he'd grown a second head. He also seemed strangely flushed.
  27. "The door's open," he said quietly, gesturing. Indeed, while Aster had been busy, the lever had slowly shifted into the downward position and the wooden door had swung ajar.
  28. "Ah," Aster said, clearing his throat. "Well. No thanks to you."
  29. Cedric blinked a little and mentally put the image of Aster shyly blowing the stone lever away in a private box. "I'd have been happy to at least flip a coin for it if you hadn't shoved me out of the way the first chance you got."
  30. "Don't be such a girl, I barely touched you."
  31. --
  32. Through the door was a dimly lit stone hallway that branched off into two identical paths. Cedric and Aster had debated for quite a while as to which direction to take, before finally begrudgingly deciding on splitting up. Aster took the right-hand side, while his companion took the left.
  33. After a minute or so of trudging through the damp corridor, Aster noticed that at some point he'd taken his sword out of its sheath and was sucking gently on the pommel. He instantly spat it out in disgust, put it away, and shook his head as if to clear it. He had no idea how that could've happened without him noticing. He must've been more shaken than he'd thought.
  34. It was unsettling to say the least how pleasant it had been to have something nice and hefty in his mouth, but every time he tried to think about it the thoughts slid away from him. It didn't matter. Why would he want to devote more energy to that experience anyways? It was something he had to do (no thanks to Cedric refusing to fall on the sword for him), and now the door was open and he could forget about it.
  35. Aster pistoned his thumb in and out of his mouth a little more as he decided to completely remove the sheer concept of levers from his mind. Clearly, they were more trouble than they were worth. His footsteps slowed as his thoughts came to a grinding halt. Aster pulled his thumb out fully with a squeal, wiped it frantically on his tunic, and shoved his hands in his pockets.
  36. He was a grown man, and a completely normal one at that. He had no unnatural thoughts, feelings, or urges, and he refused to let the first trial of the whole dungeon get to him. Even if his lips had felt perfect and natural stretched around the warm stone. Even if his mouth was starting to feel a little bit empty without something else occupying it.
  37. Aster's face grew hot once more as he began to thank his lucky stars that he'd split up with Cedric at the fork in the path. The smug fool would've mocked him for days for that shameful display. Maybe he'd even jokingly offer to sate Aster's hunger, take him by the shoulders, push him to his knees and... and…
  38. As he grew lost in thought, Aster's hand snuck back up to his mouth. His index and middle fingers pushed their way as far past his lips as they could. He began to drool a little as he unthinkingly twisted them around his tongue, stroking it lightly, but his mind was entirely elsewhere. He didn't register anything unusual until the sensation of his fingers pressing at the back of his throat almost caused him to cum in his pants.
  39. --
  40. A short while later, Aster had given up on keeping things out of his mouth. Clearly it was some sort of dungeon curse or spell or plague that he’d come down with when he'd put his mouth on that bit of stone. He didn't want anyone else to see him like this, sucking on his fingers like a child, but there was nothing much else to be done about it. The treasure lying in wait for him at the end, at least, would soothe his damaged ego.
  41. So, he sullenly worked his fingers in and out of his mouth (trying to keep them away from the new pressure point he'd discovered) and glared at the room before him. It was, strangely, filled with lush greenery. The ground was soil and the ceiling was high, and at the end of the room was another door. This one had no doorknob, lever, or anything of the kind.
  42. Not wishing to repeat the embarrassment of missing an obvious clue last time, especially without Cedric to point it out to him, he began searching. He shortly found another small lever hidden around the back of a white blossomed tree. It was close enough to the ground that, even were he to kneel, he would have to bend over a little further and brace himself against the trunk to get his mouth around it. Still, Aster knew that it was important to make sacrifices to get ahead. So, nobly, he got down low and began to lick up and down the lever. He amused himself this way for a time before fully engulfing the thing in his mouth.
  43. He happily sucked away at it, sending waves of pleasure down his core whenever it bumped against the back of his throat. It took him several minutes, in fact, before he realized that the door wasn’t opening. He spat it out, stared at it for a second, and then gave it a pull. It shifted downwards and, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the door creak open. He barely had any time to feel sheepish before he felt his entire body burning. It wasn’t a bad feeling, it felt like a very strong version of the satisfaction of scratching an itch. The feeling was localized primarily at the base of his spine, but every now and again it would pulse through his entire body.
  44. Aster began to whine through his gritted teeth and yanked on fistfuls of grass in an attempt to somehow ground himself, but it did nothing. The wires in his head were getting crossed, and he felt a desperate need to hump the ground. The edges of his vision were growing dark. He collapsed forwards, rubbing his cheek against the dirt. In some faint, dark corner of his mind he pretended that he had his head in someone’s lap. They were petting his hair, maybe even pulling it a little. That would be nice. That would be perfect. He let out one last strangled little whimper as he felt a clench in the pit of his stomach, and then a release. The relief was so strong that he instantly felt himself slip from consciousness.
  45. --
  46. The view Aster had in the pool of water was more promising than he’d thought. Despite the full-body shocks he’d endured, there were only three visible changes: the first was the tail. It was black, the same color as his hair, and fluffy. It was longer than he’d have preferred, but not ridiculously so. It reminded him of a dog’s tail in fact. It wouldn’t be too hard to get removed after all this business was over. Ditto for his second change: the ears. They were small, also fluffy, and flopped over dopily. Aster was not fond of how they undercut his status as one of the peak adventurers in his guild. Put another way: Cedric was going to laugh again. The third change was the smallest: his hair. It had grown down to just below the bottom of his jaw and kept getting in his eyes. But this, too, was easily trimmable. All said, it could’ve been much much worse.
