  1. Two New Cobweb Race Ideas:
  2.
  3. Nevadan Grunt: Just your average ordinary cloned soldier from somewhere in Nevada, Nevadans are highly adaptable and highly capable fighters whether at close-range or long-range and can fit a variety of classes and skills very easily. They have....strange quirks however, they all look the same so they tend to differentiate themselves via accessories and clothing and...their hands are detached from their body yet still seem anchored by some force that isn't understood. They also usually have deeply held addictions to smoking or drinking, despite scientist's best efforts to weed them out from the lowest level of grunts. They're also only ever as durable as a normal human, if not less so.
  4.
  5. They do however have a special trait in that if the materials are found, they can undergo evolution that changes them on a genetic level to be stronger, faster, and more powerful in every way. These are done through "Promotion Machines" Which go from LEET, APW, ENGINEER, SHADOW (Enhanced with Arbiter-like powers), and Finally MAG right at the top. MAGification itself almost always results in unique and strange abilities that their lessers don't have access to!
  6.
  7. Test Subjects: These are a race of....strange Nevadan Grunts that seem to have appeared from old and forgotten Nexus Facilities, in all ways they are similar to their counterparts except...they learn and grow stronger at an accelerated rate and have the potential to learn legendary powers and abilities once used by the heroes and villains of nevada, on top of that they also have access to promotions and magification BUT...due to their strong abilities, by default they are hunted and mentally tortured by Tricky. The Life of a Test Subject is one of constantly being chased and abused for the entertainment of the mad clown god that runs nevada, even when they manage to make it outside of Nevada the clown's influence still sticks to them, making them a danger to others around them at the whims of Tricky.

  9. Note: As Test Subjects have the potential to become incredibly powerful, I thought maybe borrowing a mechanic idea from another game would be cool. You have to either complete a challenge in-game or roll at the start in order to get a Test Subject character, this challenge should be difficult but not impossible with good luck.

  11. Not sure how to represent "Tricky Madness" in-game, maybe they have to roll at the start of an in-game day and they get disadvantage for the rest of the day if they don't pass the challenge check? That or they get a round of "Madness" where they attack friend and foe alike? It should be something that's definitively a downside, but not so bad it hampers fun.
