Q. How can I get started?
A. Easy, go to this thread and fill out a character template.

Q. The character sheet tells me to pick my armor and weapon. What are my options?
A. The Aincrad Codex contains all the information you need in regards to armor, weaponry, and mobs.

Q. I choose knuckles or wrist blades as my primary weapon, do I have just one? Do I need Dual Wielding for these?
A. You do not need dual wielding. Wrist Blades and Knuckles are like shoes, they come in a pair. So you only get stat bonuses as if it was one item, but you have one in each hand. Dual wielding is where you hold two separate weapons in each hand, allowing for double stat boosts.

Q. How can I get Dual Wielding/Beta Tester Status and/or what it Beta Tester Status?
A. Dual Wielding will be decided based on character profile quality and posting quality up to level 45. Then you can ask for the ability to dual wield, where you will be reviewed. Beta Tester Status will be granted upon profile creation to those the development team (mods) feel have poured an exceptional amount of care into their character. Beta Tester Status provides a level boost, proportional to the content/quality of your profile, and an exclusive item that provides a small stat boost to your preferred stat.

Q. Can I be in more than one thread at a time? If so, how many?
A. You may be in two threads at the same time so long as the timeline is explicitly stated. For example, Thread A could be an epic wolf fight, and Thread B is the healing lodge afterwards. You can make Thread B while Thread A is still going on, so long as it's made evident that Thread B takes place after Thread A.

Q. Is there any way I can directly contact the members of the RP?
A. Yes, we have a Skype group for this Roleplay specifically. Just add 'loveless2013' on skype and tell me your Colo name. I'll get you added to the group!

Q. I have an idea for a monster/dungeon, can I just go ahead and post it?
A. Yes, as the world of SAO is very open ended, you may create any idea you want. However, if it is your intention to start a quest or dungeon with a boss, then somebody else will need to NPC the boss. Either a mod, or another player outside the party group.

Q. Why do the weapons that are just chunks of rock have such high stats?
A. Those chunks of granite or stone or whatever just so happen to be pretty hard weapons to RP with; except for throwing, it's pretty hard to think of ways to creatively fight with it... to balance this out, and provide incentive to actually use it, the stats on these kinds of weapons are much higher than others.

Q. What do I do to get tools if I'm in a profession?
A. Tools like hammers or scissors that are used by profession-based players cannot be instantly obtained or used like a prop. These items must be bought from the haggle thread or obtained RP-wise. The codex is expanding with occasional updates, so look out for these items if they're not on sale yet!
