  1. Key: A New World
  2. Character Name: Enoch
  3. Topic: A Quintessential Hero
  4. The RP itself: Eyes, dried by the blistering heat peered across a barren landscape to take in the heinous scene which unraveled before him only moments ago. His comrades lay disfigured and deformed, devoid of life in every conceivable way; their bodies mangled, and their spirits long since broken remained sprawled across crimson painted sand as a testimony to the strength of the enemy who stood at the epicenter of the gruesome scene…But it wasn’t always like this….and with death’s whispers growing ever so slightly the boy, teetering upon the edge reminisced.
  5. The four of them were comrades, like brothers since the beginning. The circumstances of war which orphaned each child individually, simultaneously brought them together; be it through utter coincidence or intertwined fate they remained together protecting each other and bolstering their strengths, and it was throughout those turbulent, trying years that they grew their strongest.
  6. Several years followed, the events of an idiotic dispute calmed and their lands were left in a mishappened form, forced to rehabilitate over time. The children had grown to become teens now, all around the ages of sixteen and seventeen, and in their recent development had donned gis’ in order to train under a singular master. The man had adopted them only a mere couple of years before the war had ended and albeit their time together was short, their content in each other showed in their actions. The youthful men trained vigorously under the ways of their teacher growing in not just physicality, but mentality and maturity as well; their curiosity led to new teachings, understanding and knowledge about races, other worlds, and concepts beyond even their most whimsical of imaginations….and yet one thing never changed…
  7. Evil. It still existed in the world, and in many others as well, tyranny proved to be a governmental rule which reigned over myriad planets whether it be due to hierarchical statuses or the overwhelming strength of a singular entity. This, idealism which portrayed the opposite of freedom which was granted to them crippled the children’s innocence but instilled a new purpose, a cause to fight for, to battle oppression and tyranny and to allow freedom to ring throughout all worlds alike. This “noble and righteous” cause was their epithet, and ironically enough it would be their downfall.
  8. August 31, of the year 20XX. It was the day another race had invaded earth for the first time in decades; it was an Icer, a creature with near insurmountable power which could be felt miles away. Freedom fighters of course united in order to stand against this impending threat despite the wishes of their teacher. Under his tutelage they felt worthy enough to defeat such a foe, and together they’d triumphed over such atrocities their unyielding confidence in one another only bolstered their strength.
  9. …But never had they been so mistaken.
  10. What they thought would be a combative struggle was little more than an unrelenting massacre. This creature’s strengths, speed, technique and instinctive intuitions superseded all they had to offer. They were mere ragdolls to a ruthless owner, and one by one they fell, crippled and shattered by this barbaric form of brutality, and as the last boy collapsed.
  11. The creature bellowed a maniacal, blood curdling guaff in celebration of his victory, and to the boy whose eyes remained filled with a fire this, was a defiling end, a brutal massacre to a righteous cause…it was injustice, an injustice he refused to stand for. Pent up rage channeled into a boiling spite, and that pure, unadulterated resentment led to bloodied fingers bawling into a fist, a fist which portrayed something indomitable…the boy’s will.
  12. Death, wasn’t taking him, and something within the youth’s inner psyche snapped….He couldn’t bear witness to this…he had to avenge them…
  13. An unsuspected surge of energy arose and the sheer ferocity of its unparalleled powered rippled, and lashed out violently, depressing the ground beneath the warriors feet as he stood. Stones crumbled underneath its sheer weight, and even the coquettish grips of death which reached ever so promptly for the boy retreated, trembling at his unspeakable might. The Icer, the entity whom was the target of all this unfathomable aggression was disrupted abruptly, and the confidence once prominent in merciless eyes shattered whilst the being trembled for the first time.
  14. Boisterous winds coiled and crackled, the boy’s unruly locks of silver tousled around aimlessly, and his eyes viridescent hues of emerald pierced and disheveled his oppositions fighting spirit. Furrowed brows twitched in disgruntled umbrage focused upon one target, and as he paced forward, each foreboding step exuded his unrivaled vexation.
  15. Closer….Closer….Closer he approached, bulging veins displayed, heated blood coursing along every appendage; the Icer backed away, with each advancing step the boy’s ominous energy enveloped him, swallowing his senses one by one, deafening his hearing, blinding his sight, robbing his smell, depraving him of touch, dulling his taste and ultimately malforming even its once prideful spirit into a lamentable wretch of its former glory.
  16. Calamity beckoned, and piteous as the creature was in its gaze it did what any would and pleaded, “P-please…W-wait now j-just a minute…”
  17. However, forgiveness wasn’t befitting of such an immoral varmint, but it already knew that for when the enraged fighter stopped and opened thin, bruised lips a primal cry of abysmal fury escaped, and the mortified look which beset the Icer’s face displayed its understanding of inescapable doom.
  18. So no, this isn’t the story of a “Quintessential Hero” but a tale of humanity, morality, and ultimately triumph….
