BACKGROUND :
    • for as long as she can remember, sua had lived at the camp. it’s almost as if she was born there, and she’s seen campers come and go and come and go. she never knew her faher because she had been abandoned at the camp, and her mother was, as a goddess, absentee for all of her life. as a result, sua grew a strong attachment to the camp. it was the only home she ever knew, and her abandonment issues only resulted in an obsession to keep the camp in line. she’s devoted her heart and soul to the camp because she’s never had anything else, and the greatest betrayal she’s ever felt was when she wasn’t chosen as the female aesir. when HEART STOP was chosen over her, it made sua feel disposable, as if she wasn’t worth anything, which is why she grew to despise her, as well as anyone else who got in her way (namely jeongguk.)



PERSONALITY :

    • HEADSTRONG, STUBBORN / "it doesn't matter that i’ve been wrong this whole time, it only matters that i win!"
      if there is one thing that is true about sua, it’s that she’s the most hardheaded girl you will ever meet. she’s very opinionated and can be loud when it comes to things that are controversial, and even things that aren’t. she’s sure of herself and when she sets her mind on something, theres’s no swaying her away from it. sua is the type of person to argue something to the death, no matter how absurd and untrue it is, and it doesn’t matter if she realizes her stance on the topic is wrong, she’ll never give up.

    • BITCHY, STRAIGHTFORWARD / "listen, if you can't handle the truth, then you should steer clear of me."
      another thing that’s important to note about sua is that she can be a bit of a bitch. to put it simply, she’s mean, and has no qualms about it. she can be selfish, and doesn’t /really/ care who she insults as long as she gets her point across. as a result, she herself is desensitized to any outward bitchiness she experiences, and doesn’t let cruel words affect her. (that, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean that she doesn’t get into some redundant arguments instead... when she’s angry, she’s a force to be reckoned with.) sua is straightforward to a fault, and sometimes it can even seem as if she has no filter.

    • CARING, COMPASSIONATE / "they say that tough love is the only kind of love." "who says that?" "me."
      of course, just because sua can be a little bitchy doesn't mean she lacks a heart. in fact, deep down, it's almost shocking how caring she is. sua is the type of person who loves so deeply that it hurts, but people don't know this because they never give her the chance to open up. sure, it takes a while for her to actually care for you, but once she does, her love is wholehearted and all consuming. she feels so intensely, and is compassionate at heart. sua can seem like she's out to get you, but if you really know her, you know she's doing it to protect you from getting hurt in the future, and she doesn't care if she's mean as long as the tough love pays off in the long run (as THIRSTY learns quickly.)

    • LONELY, ABANDONED / "it's not like anyone has ever been there for me and i've ever felt loved, you know?"
      she's been raised her whole life at the camp, without a mother or father, any familial figures, and although she can seem tough, that really gets to her. sua can't help but feel as if she isn't good enough, because why else would her family abandon her and leave her all alone? as a result of this, she puts her all into everything related to the camp, because it's all she's ever known, and she tries her hardest to be authoritative to cover just how helpless she feels deep down. she doesn't know much about her past, and all she wants is love and acceptance from the other campers, who seem to give it to everyone except sua. (maybe that's why when golden boy jeon jeongguk arrived and recieved all the attention sua yearned for, she began to despise him.)

ABILITIES :
    • HOW SHE FEELS TOWARDS THEM - her abilities has been a part of her since before she joined the camp, and for basically all her life she’s had them. they’re an extension of her, like a deadly finger or something. they’re familiar and useful, but just because she feels comfortable with them, she avoids actually using them. they’re the reason she’s been an outcast her whole life, and sure, she has a lot of control over them, but she doesn’t necessarily love them.
    • HOW EMOTIONS AFFECT THEM - sua’s emotions rarely function the efficacy or tenacity of her powers. because she’s had them for so long, she’s had a while to gain control over them. which means she’s also learned how to separate her abilities from her emotions, and for the most part, what she’s feeling has no effect on her performance. the only time her emotions play a factor in her abilities is when she’s around jeongguk and has a hard time seeing anything other than red.
    • HOW MUCH CONTROL SHE HAS - the amount of control sua is able to excercise over her abilities is so finite that its almost frightening. she’s got her ability down to an art form, and its no secret that because of how young she came to the camp, she has been almost conditioned by her abilities.

DYNAMIC :

    • BEG / they hate each other, simple as that. jeongguk and sua have a rivalry and so much bad blood between them that they could fill the pacific ocean. she would never admit it, but sua is jealous of jeongguk and how everyone seems to fall at his feet, willing to do anything for him, as if he's the most important person in the world. when jeongguk first met sua, he was fascinated by how fierce she was -- until her sharp tongue lashed out and insulted him, and their hatred was set. she's hardheaded and stubborn, and he's cocky and arrogant, which you can imagine isn't the best combination. any time they come within a 10 feet radius of each other, it's almost guaranteed that they will fight -- sua starts the arguments with her sarcasm, and jeongguk keeps them going with his ego (at least, that's how she feels it is.)

    • MID / jeongguk enjoys poking and prodding the beast (see: ji sua) and her reactions never fail to amuse him. throughout all the time they've known each other, he thinks this is because he hates her, and seeing her riled up and angry just makes him happy, but it's around this time that he begins to realize that it's actually because he's pretty, dare he say, fond of sua. he knows underneath her spitfire personality, she's hurt, and there's a reason she's so mean, and he makes it his mission to figure out what is wrong with her and fix her. sua, on her part, begins to realize that jeongguk is more than the arrogant toerag she always thought him to be, and he's actually kind and dorky and little cute too?

    • END / sua is bad with emotions and the whole love thing, so when she realizes her feelings for jeongguk go beyond hatred and utter despising, she's scared, and does the most logical thing for her -- she runs from them, and chooses to ignore them. she goes from being almost friends with jeongguk to hating him once again (or at least, putting on that facade) and it almost seems as if she's being even meaner than usual on purpose. jeongguk doesn't take her bitchyness to heart, though, because she knows that sua is just running from her feelings (courtesy of THIRSTY, who takes it upon herself to fix sua's relationship with jeongguk) and he doesn't give up on her, despite how harsh she seems.


TRIVIA :
    • jeongguk calls her jisoo instead of sua
    • in return, she's always calling him junglebook
    • they're literally always at each others throats
    • it's just. the sexual tension is SO real
    • even though sua really hates him, she's never used her powers on him

SUGGESTION/S :
    • once jeongguk purposely loses a game and lets sua and the house of skadir win, and she KNOWS because he didn't try to make it any less obvious because he knows it'll piss her off even more than if he won and he's right, and she goes after him and tells him to stop being such a jackass
    • in the middle of a heated argument with sua, jeongguk accidentally creating like a mini thunderstorm or something? and sua was SO heated until the thunder starts to rumble over her head, and then she freaks the fuck out because she's scared of thunder, and all of jeongguk's anger fades away when he notices the fear in sua's eyes, and he feels so bad afterwards, and they just forget whatever they were arguing about in the first place. it was probably something dumb btw.
    • HEART STOP doing something really nice for sua one day when she's feeling down, like bringing her her favorite dessert or something, and sua is like. i hate you but i really want that cheesecake is there any chance you can go away. but she just talks through her problems with HEART STOP while eating cheesecake, and at the end sua is like "this doesn't mean i hate you any less" and HEART STOP is like "haha you're so funny!"
    • when feeling particularly vulnerable, sua admits to jeongguk that the reason she is so invested in their rivalry and why she seems like such a bitch is because for the majority of her time at the camp, she's felt isolated and alone, and arguing with jeongguk and fighting over something distracted her from the fact that she didn't feel close to anyone
