The Road

The Road is one of the many small factions of partially organized crime running amok in the Al-Azhar, the poorest of the three major districts in Cairo. What sets it apart is how many operating agents it has living and working among the adventurers going around the southern area. The road is older than any of its current surviving members, and a lot of tales, mostly tall ones, have been told around a cold drink and a pile of silver or gold. There is no real central leadership, instead all its members act as equal, higher 'ranking' members being determined by the respect they garner.

If the road runs through a town, you know trouble will yet follow. If there's work to be done on the road, leave it to a member of the guild.
