Saiyan Jin

Appearance: Jin is a Saiyan standing at a shorter height of 5'5. He has light skin, black eyes, and long, messy black hair that goes down to his shoulders. His face sports a full beard that's almost as long and just as messy. A few strands of grey can be found in his hair and beard, likely a result of stress or trauma. His build is highly above-average, even for a Saiyan, and and has far more scars than any normal person should.

Jin wears bulky, full Battle Armor composed of metal plates. The armor has been specially made and customized, and doesn't look much like regular Saiyan armor. It's far heavier, and its dark-grey metal plates cover his entire body from the neck down. It has rounded shoulder pauldrons that don't extend out too far, as well as metal sleeves that extend to the end of his biceps. Complementing that is a set of metal gauntlets that go up to the forearms and leave only a small gap between them and the metal sleeves. A set of heavy metal leggings and boots protect the entirety of his legs and complete the armor. His brown tail peeks out through a hole in the leggings and wraps around his waist like a belt. Attached to his right leg is holster for his handgun, and over his heart is a scabbard for a knife. A few other pouches are attached to the torso and his left leg for holding various other equipment. This armor is extremely heavy and thus works as both protection and as weighted training. Removing the armor to reveal the plain black form-fitting clothes underneath makes Jin much, much faster, though he's never actually done this before, as he prefers the protection that the armor provides.

Equipment: Energy Gun - A handgun that fires red beams similar in effect to Ki blasts. The weapon can be fired multiple times in quick succession with no need to reload, but the user must be careful not to let it overheat. It's also capable of fitting various attachments (which are kept in the pouches on Jin's armor), including a grappling hook and grenade launcher (explosive and smoke). This weapon is always kept on Jin's person, in the holster on his Battle Armor.

Tactical Blade - A sharp bowie knife kept in the scabbard on Jin's Battle Armor. The black handle of the blade can also be extended to turn it into a halberd-like weapon.

Anti-Materiel Rifle - A heavy-duty scoped rifle kept on Jin's motorcycle in a collapsed form, though it can quickly be extended to its full and operational size. The weapon, originally meant to disable vehicles, is now used by Jin to take down those of extremely high power-levels from a long or medium distance. The weapon fires red beams like the Energy Gun, but they're far more concentrated and powerful, and as such, a single shot overheats the weapon and much more time is required for it to cool down between shots.

Motorcycle - A black, sport-touring bike with several bags and holsters for gear. It serves as Jin's main mode of transportation, and holds all the supplies he needs for long journeys.

Backstory: Jinjer was born on Earth and, for the first years of his life, was raised by his Saiyan parents away from any major cities. His father trained him in martial arts so that he'd be able to live up to his Saiyan heritage. His father's plan was always for him to become a powerful Saiyan warrior, but Jin was more interested in seeing what the Earth had to offer. So, when he turned sixteen, he chose to leave home and go on an adventure around the world with a group of friends. In their travels, Jin served more of a leadership role, always taking charge of the group and being looked up to by everyone.

During this time, he eventually ran into Cabba and was so impressed by his power the he separated from the rest of his friends to spend several years being trained by the other Saiyan. Later on, Jin ran into his old friends again, but found they had a new leader, and that his old friends grew to hate him for leaving. After being threatened and insulted by the group's new leader, Jin lashed out and killed him. His old friends turned completely against him as a result, and were killed as well.

After this incident, Jin left Cabba's training  and began to wander the world on his own During this time, he completely abandoned all the techniques he learned, because those techniques were what killed his friends. To replace them, he began to accumulate gear for his personal defence as he traveled But, no matter how far he wandered, he was never able to forget why he was on his own in the first place. He was never able to free himself from the guilt that chained him.

Eventually, Universe 6's God of Destruction, Champa, appeared before Jin, knowing it the withering but powerful rage that lived within him. He saw great potential in the Saiyan, if only there was a reason for him to use that potential. And so, Jin was made an offer he couldn't refuse: take part in the tournament, and have a chance to free himself of his past.
