Megaman Zero Ramblings

Journal Entry # 1

You know it says a lot that this place is more depressing than the refugee camp I started the last jump in. So I am a human fighting alongside robots who are fighting other robots who are protecting humanity. It would seem like I was on the wrong side but the human protectors have been “retiring” reploids in mass at the drop of a hat. Also there is an energy crisis so … fun.

Ciel, I still suspect is really an elf.  I haven’t seen her ears to disprove that; she certainly has the build of one, anyways she has gone off because she thinks she found Zero. Apparently X is the leader of Arcadia because his circuits got crossed over the years or something.

Journal Entry # 2

So being a human working with the resistance is a little tough… now bringing in my companions who are all humans whom I seemed to pull out of nowhere… that’s been impossible. Well maybe it wouldn’t have been so hard if it weren’t for Rick.

Rick has been on his worst behavior, he has managed to insult just about everyone, which is terrible because we need his help (which may be why he is in such a bad mood, he doesn’t like being forced to play hero). Thankfully Abraham, Sans and Akitsu have been working to smooth things over with everyone and are trying to help Ciel develop a new power source. Rick already explained the concept of the microverse battery but Ciel was horrified by creating an entire universe just to use them as a source of free energy. They really don’t get along.

Also despite his Amnesia Zero says I look Familiar somehow.

Journal Entry # 5

Well while my companions are working on free energy I have decided to try and infiltrate Neo Arcadia…
One thing about this place really pisses me off; Humanity. They do nothing in this war and leave it to reploids to do their fighting they are so insolated they don’t care about the war going on. I think I am going to go try and awaken them and rally them to try and get some changes done there. Ceil has reluctantly agreed but told me she doesn’t think it’s going to work.

Journal entry # 7

So I am in Neo Arcadia… it’s very beautiful, very well maintained and the people are already starting to get to me. I have started to try and start an underswell of support but “that’s a reploid problem, leave it to the reploids.” Is the most common response by those who don’t just dismiss me as a crazy woman.

Journal Entry # 8

So I got tired got a soap box (one I brought with me to this world… what they are useful?) and just started speaking. My bardic skills served me well, I enraptured the crowd as I called upon them for better treatment of reploids, mixing in stories of Zero and X with the figure of how many “maverick” Reploids were destroyed and a list of reasons for some of those destructions.

Admittedly it’s a small start. I didn’t get too far before reploids started to chase after me. For some reason they weren’t happy with me.

Journal Entry # 12

So they sent Rick to me today, apparently they thought he might be more helpful in raising the moral here in Neo Arcadia (officially) unofficially, He was bored and nothing good happens when he gets bored; There might not have been a resistance if things continued the way they were. At least he has a version of his portal gun working in multiverse now

Journal Entry # 15

Wow so Things were going pretty good then Zero killed X. The legendary hero who kept people safe… so now I am hiding out stuck in Neo Arcadia for a while, a few of the people who had started to fallow me have been chased out of the city and those that were supporting me have denounced me and are still black listed.

It’s not fair I tried to resolve things without violence or shooting things and it would have worked eventually but now… Also it’s not fun having Rick tell me he told me so., Never misses an opportunity to rub it in

Journal entry # 47

Maybe I am just stubborn but I am still here. I am not leaving despite how much they have tried to chase me out, I have heard that the new energy source has been completed ahead of schedule…  Unfortunately I am hearing whispers of a revival of an ancient Repliod called Omega, who apparently recently reactivated. What gets weirder is that Copy X is back, this time rebuilt by some guy Dr. Weil who smells like trouble.

Journal Entry # 50

So that advanced fast, Copy X decided to declare all-out war on the resistance to get the new energy source. Declaring Dr Weil the new head of his army, Omega tried to steal the Dark Elf from X’s Original Body. I used technopathy to shut him down, also apparently there was some dual between Dr Weil and Rick, Dr Weil turned out to be immortal but do to portal gun he is now immortal in another dimension. Zero Destroyed Copy X again.

So Neo Arcadia is a bit of a mess right now and we are trying to work with the 3 guardians to calm things down. They have reluctantly accepted my help. Strangely I think I am starting to finally see humans get the message that maybe entrusting their welfare solely to robots might be a bad idea.
