The former Frau Jade was remarkable; remarkable enough to leave her blood everywhere, to leave her trace everywhere. Her absence created a great hole, ineradicable dirt. Their lined up practice session plan has been thrown in disarray, until Michiru proposed the idea of getting the new Frau Jade by the means of audition.

The title comes later, while the board directors choosing the five top students first – the next Frau Jade will unlike them, she would there to fill the great hole, and their own agenda will continue on its own, just like nothing had happened.

‘Yumeoji’ name is kind like a curse somewhat, Yachiyo mused to herself. The successor of the name of glittering green is none other but her younger sister, who owns the ‘Yumeoji’ name as well.

[“You’re Fumi-san’s younger sister.”] – Such sentence couldn’t be avoided, that much Yachiyo knew. She could easily recite it from atop of her lungs with ease, simply by landing her eyes to the sight of smaller Yumeoji.

Her heart, however, said otherwise.

It may be true, the leave of Yumeoji Fumi is leaving an irreparable hole. No one can replace her, to be honest. No one can replace her brilliance, her magnificence; how she stood up next to Akira as her foil, as her shadow - but she is not one who’s being overshadowed.

Fumi is a force that engulf, someone who can’t be bound by simple rules.

On the other hand, Shiori is different.

If Yachiyo about to describe Shiori, she was no different than her sister. Her presence is there to complete Edels, to fill the irreparable hole, to stand as the owner of the same name but with different fragrance to it.

She was like a budding candle in the darkness. She might be not be as rigorous as the shadow, yet she battled fiercely so everyone will see her in different light.

She is the youngest. She is the most underestimated. She is the weakest there among all in every aspect; stage experience, training adaptation, stage handling, overall performances—

But she /knew/.

Shiori held each and every of her weakness close to her and she let it walk with her, but never let them overpower herself.

She is a different person to the enigmatic Yumeoji Fumi but why Yachiyo couldn’t say anything else besides her being ‘a shadow of a former shadow’?

When Yachiyo went out from her bath later, Shiori was still there, looking at her own reflection on the mirror, combing her hair in slow motion. The blonde was looking absent-minded, judging by how her eyes darted everywhere but the mirror.

Of course, what the pinkette has said earlier should have affected her in a way—in a way that the silence between them is awkward. Yachiyo was sure that it is even more awkward than when Shiori came to the student council office, being roasted by others about her identity.

“Ah, are you done, Senpai?”

Shiori tried to look indifferent, though her eyes spoke of hollowness. Yachiyo, on the other receiving end, hated it, but she couldn’t find anything to say. Not even a word of apology.

“Yeah, I’m done.” An automated response.

“Then, I’ll excuse myself to my room first.”

(Is she, as the Observer, going to watch by the sidelines again, waiting for everything to crumble?)
