Man with No Name- Knife Fight Wrist Break

The break came sooner than he expected. And not in the way he expected. He heard a sound on his right, was surprised to see a man rise suddenly upright from behind a boulder not five feet away.

He swung his rifle to bear. The man dove, a knife flashed. The hunter rolled as the hurtling figure sprawled nearly on top of him. The knife drove into the earth where his back had been seconds before.

Then they were locked in a struggle for possession of the knife. Twice the hunter’s fingers locked on a wiry wrist. Twice the man pulled free. Twice the heavy blade was driven at the hunter’s throat. He pulled away, avoiding the slashing blade, and drove his fist into the other’s face. Grasping the knife wrist again, he rolled, trying to free the blade. He had both hands on the wrist now, twisting it downward, bending the arm.

Bone cracked. The knife fell free. Before his victim could scream the hunter drove the blade into the man’s side.
