  1. SITE-26
  2. Overview
  3.
  4. Location: Just north of Addersfield where the two lane highway ends. The majority of Site-26 resides inside and under a peak of Mt Olympus in the state of Washington.
  5.
  6. Description: Site-26 was constructed as an armed containment site early on but the years have slowly modified its purpose into a well varied site that serves a few purposes. It has become quite large with said modifications but the additional areas have been compacted as best they can be to avoid having a very large site. In addition to the original facilities it has been expanded upon to include research, staging, and task force deployment. The site itself is disguised as a small military base with a large training grounds. Beneath this disguise in a very literal fashion Site-26 is mostly underground inside Mount Olympus. Some areas are connected by tram or walkways, all with defenses between them and fail safe ways to seal off different sectors from the main base.
  7.
  8. The Mobile Task Force that call Site-26 home is Kappa-32 “Ravens Fly North”. Their presence here as earned the nickname of “The Nest” for the site officially.
  9. On-Site Areas:
  10.
  11. Euclid/Safe Containment Wing: A large portion of Site-26 is the containment wing. Located on a branch off of the main facility it is geographically just below Journey Lake. The structure of the containment wing in a multi leveled hive of sorts, ten units on each level with stairs and a spiral rail guided platform system to get between levels. The containment rooms can be room full of lockers, standard containment cells, or cell customized to contain a specific anomaly.
  12.
  13. Journey Lake serves as the containment wing defense system outside of checkpoints and guards. In severe cases there are charges built into the walkways to the containment wing that can be manually detonated by someone of high enough security clearance. This will flood the selected levels from reservoirs of the lake water. The wing can be drained remotely afterward once the situation is deemed under control. From there the damage can be repaired and the reservoir replenished.
  14.
  15. Euclid/Safe Research Wing: Adjacent and connected to both the main facility and the containment wing, The research wing is reachable by numerous walkways and trams in a few cases. The research wing is much more normally designed with it being hallways with the sealed lab doors along either side. Multiple floors to keep up with the many research projects going on at once. Each lab is a self-contained set of rooms and able to be tailored to certain anomalies. The rooms themselves are usually white and well stocked with lab equipment: every lab has at least a staging room, test room, and in some cases a disposal chute that leads to an incinerator.
  16.
  17. The research wing relies on site security and an active defense system that releases a fast acting paralytic gas into the halls when triggered either in a high grade emergency or manually by security. Otherwise armed guards are on hand at each floor in a small guard room for observation.
  18.
  19. Safe Item Storage: Safe item storage is in the main facility in a heavily reinforced section. The storage areas are spread out in a sector into locker areas. Areas contain rows of secure lockers with electronic locks designed to stay locked if power is lost. There is a sign-out desk and a clerk there to take your name and information before you can remove an item from storage. Since most items in this storage is able to be safely contained with no issues there is no active security system needed outside of regular visits from site security and cameras.
  20.
  21. Keter Staging Area: A large area deep within Site-26. The area has most supplies necessary to quickly create a specialized containment room for when a keter class object is staged on site during its transfer or is being temporarily stored there until a new permanent containment can be built. The cell is away from the other containment wing and far below the rest of the site so that in case of a breach there is minimal risk to the other facilities. The cell is bare but made to be customized with forward notice to hold keter items in transit. The entrances consist of a single vertical main elevator with its own dedicated power generator above the shaft and a large slanted shaft with a cargo platform and numerous bulkheads along the shaft that releases into the mountain range on a hidden road. The area is not populated and the road leads to the Site-26 helicopter landing area for quick deliveries.
  22.
  23. Storage Sector Aleph-13: Storage Sector A-13, or just SA13, is an elevator at the end of a monitored hall in Site-26. Created during the accidental use of a dimensional anomalous item that was believed to have been a creation of Prometheus Labs while the item was being moved. The only area affected by it was the elevator itself and it now displays numerous anomalous properties. The elevator only goes down as the shaft terminates at the only entrance to it in Site-26. The buttons on the interface panel change each time the doors open at the top most level and have been a mixture of many different number types. The interface could read like the following upon entering the elevator: -1, -3, -10, -11, -3333333333333333333333333333, -34, -4.5. -4.5 opened to the gap between -4 and -5. -3333333333333333333333333333 was a glitch of the digital number display but opened to a different area than the previously displayed -33.
  24.
  25. The elevators movement has been described as not just vertical, feeling as though it is moving sideways at times. The rooms within the storage sector vary greatly, a few examples being Large storage warehouse like rooms (both empty or too full to enter), a forest of seven foot diameter trees made of a metal like substance with fog blocking visibility further than ten yards and light despite no visible source, an apartment in what should be Venezuela, an exact replica of Site-26 filled with mannequins instead of people. The mannequins are not known to move and range from high quality to scarecrow like composition.
  26.
  27. There are entities within almost all levels of SA13. Most are mechanical in nature while some are incorporeal and the rare occasion of an organic instance. On most excursions into the anomaly the inhabitants are docile and will generally ignore human presence unless damage comes from their direct action, in which case the entities may become aggressively territorial or hostile.
  28.
  29. The anomaly is also considered to be spatial random at times, rooms, shifting when not in sight and the elevator itself changing. On three occasions fluid has begun to leaked from in between the sealed doors for ten minute intervals. Each time it is an organic substance or some form, on one occasion being human blood plasma from an indeterminate source.
  30.
  31. Excursions into SA13 are only to be granted on approval from Site Director Reagan or by official signed approval of no less than three level 3 personnel. For a more detailed list of the floors recorded within SA13 and other relevant information please see the SA13 Archive
  32.
  33. Temporal Affairs: Temporal affairs is the smallest specialized department in Site-26. This is home to the mobile task force Phi-12 "Chronomancers", a small but highly trained group that ventures into other times on missions of preventative nature mostly but some on the call of Site Director or higher request. Besides that the department is equipped with a dedicated XACTS as well as back ups and part of their research is to improve upon the system and determine the exact range and scope that actions in the past can effect the present. The department itself is a cluster of offices and a large back laboratory converted into the system that allows them to jump. This room it full of complicated and rather dangerous looking machinery terminating at a person sized circular pad where the 'gate' to another time appears. That gate isn't actually visible when it opens the person just seems to walk into nothing and disappear.
  34.
  35. Information & Technology Department: A well funded section of the facility with a large area in their one branch. While close to the center of the Site-26 the IT department is separated by airlock style doors that open to either a hallway or a small open lounge like area that could function as a break room. On the outer perimeter of the department are the larger rooms with computers and cubicle offices. The further you go into the department the higher access you need to gain entry to areas. The first being personal offices and meeting rooms.
  36.
  37. Personal offices are allowed to be modified so long as the modifications are approved and requisitioned or paid for by the occupant. Beyond that are numerous chambers for company projects and cyber security developments. This is also the space reserved for a specialized server for this department specifically as well as a sealed back up server that very few know about. The server room itself is an open two story room with wires running in an organized mess and catwalks everywhere. The room is well lit and home to a few very powerful air conditioning units.
  38.
  39. Finally, at the center of the IT department is a large command center room with various work stations and a large assortment of displays made to handle technology crisis responses. This room, know as TIER 1 (Technology and Information Emergency Response room 1), looks like something cut right out of a NASA control room and can function independently from the rest of Site-26 even if the site is compromised and can only be opened by specific individuals or if a an appropriate alarm is activated automatically.
  40.
  41. Bio-engineering Department: The bioengineering department is adjacent to the IT department in the main facility. It covers a wide range of projects and research with the Prosthesis lab being the most well funded. Some of the other labs within the section are Nanotech, Robotics, polymers, biotechnology, and biomimetics. The area tends to smell faintly of oil and ozone.
  42.
  43. Department of Cosmological Anomalies: Much higher up the mountain and half buried in the snow is an observatory and attached building. The only ways there are by cable car, a really long set of emergency stairs, or a mountain climbing hobby. Most of the research here focuses on Astronomy but the facility is also equipped for research into fields like Astrobiology, Astrochemistry, and micro-gravity environment research.
  44.
  45. The facility has a small rest area equipped for food breaks and naps but is not made to be stayed in for extended periods. Additional Security measures involved collapsing the emergency stair and destroying the rail cars structures.
  46.
  47. Memetics Department: Memetics is in the main facility but is on it’s own floor. Most of the site automated cleaning units are deployed here because of the fact the janitorial staff were at risk of spotting a memetic agent while cleaning. Most of the level consists of offices and clutter. Thermal cameras are used to track personnel and microphones have been removed. Additional to the offices there is a common room, bathrooms, and a supply closet stocked with various amnestics for researcher use.
  48.
  49. MTF Kappa-32 Barracks: The dedicated Barracks for members of MTF Kappa-32 “Ravens Fly North”. Situated below the main site with roughly ten feet of mountain rock as a buffer. This location coupled with the handful of elevators to different levels and sectors of the site allow very quick access for the task force to respond to any threats as they unfold. Emergency stairs also wrap around the elevators to allow use even with site wide power failure.
  50.
  51. The barracks themselves act as not only the dormitory of Kappa-32 but as their home base as well. The main room is small with a few tables, couches and other amenities that makes it serves as their common room. Other rooms includes a security station with a few security feeds from around the site and a caged armory, bathrooms and showers, a small medical room, and the bunk area.
  52.
  53. The armory contains all of the task force members personal weapons, a decent cache of low yield explosives like grenades and breaching charges Possibly a single rocket launcher that has not been confirmed), Each member has their usual equipment spaced from another and their section on the racks labeled.
  54.
  55. Bathroom and showers are exactly what you would expect from a military style group multiple toilet stalls and sinks. The shower room is more or less one large room with shoulder high dividers between showers as a cheap curtain at the opening. A small locker room is between the two rooms and connects both to the common room through a door.
  56.
  57. The medical room is small, a few cabinets of supplies and tools, a medical bed and an emergency phone line.
  58.
  59. Bunk area is a hallway with doors on either side. All the rooms are the same, being small rooms with a single bed, a dresser, a closet, an alcove with a computer, and anything the member decorates with. Even the commander has one of these room albeit with an alcove that is wider for a full desk and more equipment.
  60.
  61. Site-26 Cafeteria: The cafeterias are spread out onto a fee levels in Site-26 to deal with crowding and making sure that people do not have to walk far to reach one. The standard layout they follow is a food line of sorts where you are served what you want out of options cooked by on-site staff. A few options for each part of your meal and sides and drinks as well. On the other side of the room there is an open market where you can find prepackaged meals and food that are chilled or heated as needed with many packaged snacks and fresh vegetables or fruit. Both sides have options that fit into most diets. There is also a small shelf with low grade medicines just in case. Between these two areas is a wide space with plenty of tables and chairs for people to eat or and converse.
  62.
  63. The kitchens are well supplied and stocked with everything you need to make a large assortment of meals. Usually off limits to anyone not on the cooking or cleaning staff, the chefs tend to let a few select employees in if they show to know their foods well. Samples and taste tests might be given to said employees.
  64.
  65. Dormitories: All dormitories assigned to Site-26 employees are the same standard. Roughly the size of a small apartment with a sitting room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The sitting room comes with a small table and two chairs as well as a couch with a side table and lamp next to it. The bedroom has a full bed, a dresser, a desk, and a closet. The bathroom has a toilet, a vanity with sink and cabinet, and a standing shower.
  66.
  67. Exceptions can be made with certain things like the bathroom (to get a shower with a tub instead of standing) for medical reasons. Any furniture that comes with the room can be opted out of and replaced with furniture purchased in town with the employees funds so long as the furniture passes inspection. Microwaves and mini fridges are allowed on a case by case basis and privileges for it can be revoke if it is needed.
  68.
  69. Common Rooms: Generally there is a common room in each sector of the site for the employees to use as they need. Each room has couches and armchairs to rest in and coffee/end tables near them. There is always a high quality coffee/tea vendor as well, watercooler adjacent. Each one has a item for entertainment like a Foosball table, billiards table, or air hockey (Cornhole no longer available following recent rise in medical admissions due to accidents and costs of replacing broken items). The rooms are also furnished with potted plants and the walls are painted a color that has been proven to relieve stress like certain blues.
  70.
  71. Conference Rooms: Conference rooms vary based on their purpose and location but as a general rule there is a large table, comfortable chairs, a projector, and numerous power hookups for laptops. More secure conference rooms have additions like electronic shielding and soundproofing.
  72.
  73. Bathrooms: Bathrooms are simple at best, group restrooms next to one another and single person bathroom spread throughout the facility for ease of access.
  74.
  75. Gymnasium: Site-26 gymnasium is a large room with large over head fans. It features rows of workout equipment, an area for weight lifting, body weight routines, and a matted room for contact sparring or group exercises. There is a shower and bathroom area much like the one in the Kappa-32 barracks only the dividers are above head height and the curtains are outer doors.
  76.
  77. Server Rooms: Secure and well air conditioned, a small number of server rooms dot reinforced areas of the site. They work in tandem with the closest server rooms in case one room fails. The server rooms themselves are clean white rooms, well lit with rows of serves down the center. The entrance into the room is an airlock of sorts, requiring double access to enter. Guards are outside the server rooms at all times and access to them is restricted.
  78.
  79. Offices: Offices come standard with a desk, a computer, and a few filing cabinets but are often tailored by their occupant to fit their needs. Requests for supplies can be made. If not approved because of reasons outside of security risk then personnel will be allowed to provide the requested item themselves from their own funds. Paint color and posters must be approved.
  80.
  81. Hospital Wing: Hospital Wings are spread so that one is in every sector with some areas having two on each far end and are compacted but well stocked. The medical wards are divided within each wing for specialized care. The door to each wing opens into a room with a chest high desk and a nurse to take patients. There is a large gap of space between the desk and the chair for appointments or trivial injuries so gurneys and people can be rushed directly into the wards.
  82.
  83. The ward splits a few different ways past the inner door. The closest is a long room with a divider so that four rows of beds. This area is for lesser injuries and staging more than anything. There is also your usual sections for treatment you would find at a hospital: Surgical, Intensive Care, Burn, Medical, Clinic, single patient room, and other specialized areas specific to location. The wing by the containment sector is much more specialized to fit to any emergency or anomalous injury.
  84.
  85. The Corbie's Feather: An on-site bar for off duty recreation of employees. It gained its name from the continued high turnout of Kappa-32 members and their claim that is was their bar despite it being open to any personnel. It is a warmly decorated bar room with a carpeted area and tile floors by the bar. On the carpeted area is your billiards table and other game like darts and table pong. Plenty of seating and tables outside the bar stools and a bar that has pretty much whatever you want so long as you don’t order alcohols no one has heard about before or bottles that are overly expensive. The walls are adorned with all sorts of photos and patches of fallen comrades are nailed to the ceiling whether they be names tags or MTF shoulder patches. Remembrance drinks are on the house.
  86.
  87. Director's Branch: A single door near the far side of the main sector. This door opens to an elevator, a hallway, and a section of the base for the Site-Director and visiting administration. One of the most reinforced places in the site, it is roughly the size of a large apartment. With a sitting room, a secure meeting room, an office for the director, and an actual small apartment.
  88.
  89. Outside of this area is a smaller public office with a secretary and back office for the Director as well where he will stay at times during the day while checking on-site operations personally.
  90.
  91. On-site Storage: A large storage area where excess furniture, supplies, and anything that doesn;’t have a place goes. Lots of stand alone shelving units lines up, cage areas with stuff in them but no locks outside the main access points. There is a log in sheet and a acquisition sheet to note what was taken or delivered.
  92.
  93. Vehicle Depot: At ground level and one floor below as well. The vehicle depot has three areas in it. The ground level is a parking garage for personnel and site vehicles. The lower floor, accessible via ramp is for vehicle modification and repair. The last area is a small hangar for helicopters.
  94.
  95. Kappa-32 Hangar: A secondary hangar across from the vehicle depot one. This hangar is large and better equipped. It houses not just Kappa-32 ground vehicles but their two helicopters as well, with one being locked away in a back room with its limited use as a stealth helicopter. The hangar can be described as a perpetual organized mess. Tool litter the floor in small groups around the room and seemingly random parts are scattered or hung on the walls. The main focus is a heavily modified black hawk helicopter that has had the standard nose replaced with a crude beak looking attachment. The armaments on the vehicle are far from standard issue and the words ‘Mama Raven’ are painted on over the additional armor. For the most part the ground vehicles are not modified and include vans and Humvees.
  96.
  97. Foundation Training Grounds: Assisting in the disguise as a military base, Site-26 has a rather large forested grounds that work as a training grounds for new recruit and combat specialization. They are away from the base and town is a more heavily forested portion of the mountain, about a three minute drive from Site-26. Many trails are worn through the trees from vehicles and foot traffic a like. Areas within are marked as live, not live and no fire areas. sections go from driving courses to sniper training fields. Anything you would need would be stored in the bunkers and shacks throughout. Live fire areas are fenced by high walls with bullet proof padding.
  98.
  99. Training courses included; survival training, basic and advanced rifle training, sniper training, evasion training, and off road driving courses. Many of these areas overlap so multiple training sessions are rarely scheduled on the same day.
  100.
  101. Journey Lake: Not any different from the Addersfield point of view except that there is a known anomaly within the lake and efforts to find it have failed. Cameras discreetly survey the lake and the usually used shore spots. There are a few shacks about the shore and in the woods with hidden caches of supplies that can be used for anything from fishing huts to hiding spots during emergencies. The small island in the middle is know to experience anomalous effects and Site Security will deter anyone trying to land there disguised as a park ranger.
