- Reasoning: Well for Perfected SSJ, Pumkin has essentially been living in the Super Saiyan state during his time in the AL due to the fact that he cant train all the time so even when he is doing his judge work he can constantly improve the ascended state of Super Saiyan. Then as he heard about the Saiyans that had been going beyond regular SSJ, He was also told about the catalyst to reach the next stage which was just the same as going regular SSJ but since he lacks such a thing from where he resides now he simply moves to improve the regular Super Saiyan state even further than just eliminating the drain, he wants to bring out the maximum power of the state. And as for the brewing? Well Sitar has been teaching Pumkin about brewing and whatnot since there was a bar that was barely being used as of date since Cracker left it behind.
