  12.   The player is now exploring a dank, Mars cave system. This looks like some of the atmospheric horror from Doom 3.
  13.   The hand-to-hand kill moves are varied and fantastically gory. And here comes the chainsaw.

  30.   Hellknights, cyberdemons, revenants, mancubii, and other classic monsters were spotted throughout the demo.

  40.   Sprinting, double-jumping and mantling are all possible, making for very fluid motion during combat.

  42.   Dying results in a crazy fatality scene depending on what killed you a la Dead Space. Revenants rip your arms off and
  43.     punch straight through your combat helment.
  44.   Old school mechanics. No reloading your clip, hold as many weapons as you want, health and ammo pick-ups etc. NO
  45.     REGENERATING HEALTH.

  48.   Quick rundown of what I saw. They gave us so much gameplay!
  49.   - super shotgun
  50.   - Guns didn’t need to be reloaded
  51.   - Hyper-gory (oh my god was it gory) with super quick melee finishers that were quite goreious.
  52.   - Movement speed was pretty damn fast.
  53.   - Revenants have fucking jetpacks now. JETPACKS
  54.   - Monster design was pretty goddamn sick. Loving the new imps (not like that you sick bastards.)
  55.   - lighting and atmosphere a lot like Doom 64.
  56.   - Almost no scripted bullshit.
  57.   - Tons of enemies almost constantly.
  58.   - Music sounded Quake 1ish. (Very industrial.)
  59.   - Project lead guy who came on stage sounds like he really understands the fundementals of DOOM.

  61.   All I can say is I was VERY pleased with what my eyes saw.

  94. also they cut the stream right before the preview so if you weren't there, tuff shit
