  1. Scratch scratch scratch filled the air, a forelimb striped black and white digging its hoof under snow and into earth. The spring of a violet leafed sprout exposed and claimed by the features cloaked in tattered brown, before being slid into a pouch that had clearly seen better days. Green eyes gently glowed from under her hood as she peered down the cobblestone road. Her task for the even was complete, now to report to Luna with her half of the promised plant life and a few scrolls to assist in ways only Zebra arts could. Her pace was slow and precise, she was in no rush and seeing the town covered in snow was something of a rare treat for one who rarely left the comfort of her forest. Though the deeper she wandered, the more her own carefully honed sight and senses began to detect something was amiss. It was not something she would have noticed if she had been even slightly distracted, but the air the tone of the town was off somehow. She couldnt place how or why, nor could she even determine if it was truly malevolent. She knew only that it disturbed her, and that was enough to keep it in the back of her mind. Thinking on it brought her memories of Ghost Light, the promising young blind mare with a gift beyond her generation. She hoped to see her during her planned stay, but if it was not to be then so it was. Her pace eventually brought her within sight of Luna, right on time to see her do her little stompy stomp. It would not be mentioned, but nor would it be forgotten. For her dignity's sake, Zecora withheld herself till a few moments had passed, before stepping towards Luna with a gentle smile and recline of her head in respect. "Ah Luna it is good to see you, I've many things to share this is most true. Ah and a new face to this humble town? Welcome indeed, I hope you find no cause to frown." Her last words being directed to TerraFirma.

  4. Loud. That was all she could think when a giant blob of greenish yellow brown suddenly popped up out of nowhere. She literally jumped two feet in the air from shock as the pegasus approached. She found herself pinned against a wall, though, unable to find a way to escape this time. She looked terrified, more so than ever -- this pony was the biggest pony she had ever seen, and that only meant one thing to her. His hits would hurt her moreso than any other pony ever. She lifted her forelegs suddenly, trying to cover her face from any blows that might come her way. She didn't want to break her nose again, or another black eye -- it was hard enough to see as it was. She knew she could wait for just the right moment to bolt, too.
