  3. Album: What's Your Pleasure?
  4.
  5. Spotlight (Jessie): 10 I first got into Jessie because her song “Midnight” got a perfect ten in the popheads Jukebox (RIP) and *Glasshouse* was one of my favorite albums the year it came out so the bar was set high for the lead single for Jessie’s next project… and she cleared that hurdle with ease. This is so impossibly smooth
  6.
  7. What's Your Pleasure?: 7.5 There’s some cool moments on this one but on the whole it’s missing that special spice
  8.
  9. Ooh La La: 8.5 When this came out I didn’t care for it much but in the context of the album it’s rather nice
  10.
  11. Soul Control: 9
  12.
  13. Save A Kiss: 9 I love how hot and heavy this one is, you can really feel her desire coming through the speakers
  14.
  15. Adore You: 8.5 This one really surrounds you, I love the way it just bounces around you and grasps at you from all angles
  16.
  17. In Your Eyes: 6 This is kinda boring compared to the rest of the album, it’s not even bad but it is the one that has me reaching for the skip button unless I’m like fully immersed in the experience.
  18.
  19. Step Into My Life: 5 I was like “there’s a song on this album that had a chorus that I thought sounded stupid but I forget which one it was” and it was this one.
  20.
  21. Read My Lips: 7.5 https://i.imgur.com/tTlJdQd.gif
  22.
  23. Mirage (Don't Stop): 10 that opening lyric into the pulsing beat is just NOT FAIR, it’s dirty radiation that makes all my hair fall out
  24.
  25. The Kill: 9 [Give “Killshot” by Magdalena Bay your 11s in the EP Rate!](https://www.reddit.com/r/popheads/comments/lw5ds0/2020_ep_rate_bree_runway_christine_and_the_queens/)
  26.
  27. Remember Where You Are: 11 there are just no words for this one… this song was an absolute revelation when I first heard it. This album came out just before I moved back home after being on my own post-college and so I was just alone in this big house (because all of my roommates had left) and I was lying in bed listening to this album in the dark, kinda drifting off to sleep, and in this weird liminal space between worlds and phases of my life this song just swept in like a summer storm that swept through me and permeated every single cell of my being. I’ve been listening to it obsessively ever since, holding it close to my heart like some kind of totem that lets me drift rather than sink. She really did something special with this one. If this one wins I’ll post a recording of myself singing this a cappella in my bedroom alone at night because that’s definitely a thing that exists and I have access to
  28.
  29. Album: Disco
  30.
  31. Magic: 9.5 Definitely one of my favorites on the album and among the lower tier of “favorite Kylie tracks” (which is admittedly a very stacked list). It functions as a great thesis statement for the album (painting the dance floor as a magical place where you can escape your worries) and the lyrical imagery is a lot of fun! The chorus is fantastic and it’s definitely addictive but it’s missing a killer edge for me to take it to a 10.
  32.
  33. Miss a Thing: 8 The verses are great but the chorus is a bit tinny in comparison, even though I like both parts I think that both would be better if they were in different songs that flattered them.
  34.
  35. Real Groove: 8 Taking forty seconds to reach the chorus… bold move in the streaming era Kylie. Anyways this do be slapping just a little
  36.
  37. Monday Blues: 10 If I had two 11s this would get one of them! I have a huge soft spot for cheesy Kylie (*Enjoy Yourself* is great actually) and this feels like a sequel to “Disco Down” (my favorite Kylie song) filtered through the lens of “Spice Up Your Life.” It’s a silly song but I find it to be the catchiest on the album and one of the most memorable of the rate in general.
  38.
  39. Supernova: 4 I don’t really care for this one, the production feels unfocused and a bit generic given the lyrical themes. The chorus is flat too and even *I* find the hook stupid, and I’m the Megatron
  40.
  41. Say Something: 7 Kylie really had the nerve to call her album *Disco* after this was the lead single
  42.
  43. Last Chance: 7
  44.
  45. I Love It: 8 when your album is flopping so you resort to subliminal messaging
  46.
  47. Where Does the DJ Go?: 9 Honestly I’m starting to think that the best Kylie songs are the meta ones that are literally *about* discos.
  48.
  49. Dance Floor Darling: 7.5
  50.
  51. Unstoppable: 6 Lianne La Havas outsold
  52.
  53. Celebrate You: 8.5 https://78.media.tumblr.com/a70b7946a89013e6b8390eecf071f436/tumblr_inline_pfkjz2M7va1rbgerg_540.gif
  54.
  55. Till You Love Somebody: 10 I kinda forgot about this one but listening to it again it’s actually fantastic? It’s a nice middle ground between a dance pop song and a ballad, the kind of emotional track you’d dance to over the credits of a movie, and Kylie’s performance here really sells it. The lyrics of this one actually kinda get to me, for some reason any song with the lyric “dancing in the moonlight” is a song that I like. I have this one pegged as an early out but I’m gonna be sad about it.
  56.
  57. Fine Wine: 5 just saying “beep beep” doesn’t mean it’s good Kylie, don’t interpolate an iconic song if you aren’t gonna live up to it
  58.
  59. Hey Lonely: 7.5 I have a name bitch…
  60.
  61. Spotlight (Kylie): 6 Spotlight (Kylie) this, Spotlight (Jessie) that… what about Spotlight (Jennifer Hudson)?
  62.
  63. Album: Róisín Machine
  64.
  65. Simulation: 6 I’m sorry but this didn’t need to be eight and a half minutes. I listened to it several times and when writing up these scores I just clicked around the song to refresh my memory of it and every spot I clicked sounded the same.
  66.
  67. Kingdom Of Ends: 10 I mean yeah, I get what she’s talking about with this one lol. I love how harsh and kinda sinister it sounds, not what you’d expect from a “disco” album but it works and it’s kinda cathartic in a way, plus it actually builds to something interesting.
  68.
  69. Something More: 7.5 when the beat to this kicked in my ass started a tentative quake-like gesture… didn’t really progress much beyond that but that’s worth something I guess?
  70.
  71. Shellfish Mademoiselle: 10 ohohohohohohoho she’s a saucy little minx, isn’t she?
  72.
  73. Incapable: 9
  74.
  75. We Got Together: 7 this is too scarey, more calm please
  76.
  77. Murphy's Law: 8.5
  78.
  79. Game Changer: 4 noooooo the album was going so well before this happened
  80.
  81. Narcissus: 8 The myth of Echo and Narcissus has always been my favorite Greek myth, the Narcissus part of the story (a man so in love with his reflection that he stared at it until he died) has obviously become the larger cultural talking point but I feel like most people overlook the role of Echo, the nymph who loved him from afar until she too faded. What exactly are we supposed to take away from this other half of the story? Are we supposed to feel bad for Echo, pining away for a love she could never have until she died, or are we supposed to think she’s stupid for allowing the man she loved to rot away by a pond? None of this has anything to do with the song but it’s something I’ve been thinking about since I was a kid and I’ll probably never have another excuse to bring it up. The song is good.
  82.
  83. Jealousy: 9.5 Now this is how you end an album!
