  1. For my "creative and underused pokemon", I decided to use a playstyle that hasn't been touched that much since ORAS, and that is Excadrill+Hippowdon sand. With great physical bulk and access to stealth rocks and recovery, hippo definitely has a niche in OU. I chose a mor spdef spread, with enough bulk to take a +1 shattered psyche from volc after rocks and a spike. Excadrill is steelium+swords dance, to allow it to break defensive landorous and gliscor as well as ferrothorn. AV tangrowth is a water and grass resist, with sludge bomb to handle the tapus better. Charizard Y is another underrated mon on the team, being able to destro non toxapex/chansey teams. I put a Tapu Koko on to check water types, as well as pinsir. Koko also u-turns on grass types and brins in zard. Shuca with the given bulk is to take a +1 adamant thousand arrows from zygarde after rocks, as well as to check skystrike landorous. For the final spot I couldn't decide between cm clef or cm reuni, but ultimately picked reuni, as it is able to check venusaur and toxapex, and helps with psychic types. Shadow ball is chosen over energy ball to hit psychic types and Kartana harder.

  3. Weaknesses: SD Kartana. Definitely have to play smart around this thing, but you should be able to handle it. Mew over reuniclus is an option to help with it.
  4. Weavile. This thing is a threat... exca+koko check it though, and zard, hippo and tang can all take a hit.
