  1. This test is to allow me to know you all a bit better, I want to know how you would administrate, remember everyone makes the wrong decision, but I want to know if you can be able to keep up with us, it allows me to know you better, which means I want honest answers, this is your opinion, some might be wrong, some might be right. This test will be short, good luck!
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. Part 1 requires you to answer, some questions WILL require you to write down a sentence, saying why you deal the situation like this.
  6.
  7. Part 1: Situations, and how you deal with them.
  8.
  9.
  10. 1) Some guy shot a player for no reason, what will you do?
  11.
  12. Well, Asuming that I hadn't seen the attack and it was reported to me via /a then I would call both of the people envolved and check out what happened from their points of view and depending on what they have to say I would punish rightfully if it was intentinal or roleplayed.
  13.
  14. 2) There is multiple complaints on a particular player, from multiple people, what should you do?
  15.
  16. I would wait for the accused player to enter the server and speak to him to give him a warning, Then I would talk to the people who complained for the full story; after doing so I would keep that player under close watch and If I was to see that sort of behavior again then I would issue a ban for whatever the reason may be.
  17.
  18. 3) The player is driving his vehicle like an idiot, what will you do?
  19. Depending on which server and where abouts they are driving. If it is compleatly unruled when driving then I would talk to him and listen to his excuse followed by the appropriate punishment for his attitude towards me and what he has done wrong
  20.
  21. 4) The player has constantly broken the rules of not speaking english, what shall you do?
  22. I would speak to him alone and ask him to speak english, If he fails to do so or cannot speak a word of english I would issue a small ban saying "OrangeCosmos is a English only server, Please attempt to obey this rule." as a warning hoping he would understand and come back with a different attitude towards OC
  23.
  24.
  25. 5) You see a player who does nothing but act stupid (i.e. jumping on cars, or simply trolling players), what should you do?
  26. Assuming this is for OCRP: I would speak to the player and ask him to start attempting to roleplay or please leave instead of taking up positions for other roleplayers.
  27.
  28. 6) People are whining in OOC, what will you do?
  29. I would grab their attention via OOC and ask them to calm down and solve it in a different mannor. If it was a player whining for an admins attention then I would Pm them and ask them whats wrong and what I could do for them.
  30.
  31. 7) Define Mass RDM question.
  32. Mass RDM - Where a player has ignored all rules of Roleplay and grabbed a weapon and began a killing spree attacking several people.
  33.
  34. 8) Define Fail RP.
  35. FailRP - Where A player has not taken their role seriously (e.g. Policeman: Not knowing the slightest thing about law enforcement and as they see a speeding car they shoot it down while instantly arresting the driver with nothing said about it._
  36.
  37. 9) A player got sent to jail, he then gets out of jail and breaks the law, and he's repeatedly doing it, what shall you do.
  38. Would teleport the person to an empty area of the map and speak to them about what they are doing and how they can put it right. If they choose to ignore this and carry on then I would Issue a ban for failing to roleplay
  39.
  40. 10) There is an RP situation/event going on, what will you do?
  41. I would begin to keep an eye out for anybody who is trying their best to interupt this situation (e.g. somebody trying to ruin passive rp event with continuous fail rp)and if this was to arise I would ban for fail rp and interupting peoples roleplay.
  42.
  43.
  44. 11) There is a player that had no ban marks, and it appears he is there for the first time, he broke the rules, what shall you do?
  45. If the player was new to OCRP I would grab his attention and explain the basics of OCRP and the fact that it is a roleplay experiance where you basicly pretend to undertake the lifes of e.g a medical assistant and then I would let him go with the lite suggestion to read the full rules in the Q menu.
  46.
  47.
  48.
  49.
  50. Part 2 is about you, what kind of administrator are you? Give me your opinions, and answers!
  51.
  52. Part 2: Admins and you.
  53.
  54.
  55. 1) What would you usually do if you were administrating in OCRP, what do you think is the best way of administrating, are you a proactive admin or a reactive admin? Add your own opinion beneath if you want (it is ideal to do so.)
  56. Reactive tends to not show itself to be a good way of administrating, as a lot of situations end before you arrive, however it allows you to spend your gaming time here and maybe help the occassional player.
  57.
  58.
  59. Spectating, it's a proactive way of administrating, keeping your eyes on a particular player / the area.
  60.
  61. When spectating I like to watch the players and see what they are doing and if they are taking their roleplay experiance seriously.
  62.
  63.
  64. Being a government official (Police, preferably), a balanced way, you can be reactive to a situation going on else where, and you can also be watching particular players who are breaking the law (law breakers TEND to be rule breakers)
  65.
  66. I would say that this is a good way to watch situations and get the full knolage of what is going on around you; if an admin is confronted with a situation who are they to judge if it is a lie or not but when you are a policeman you are in the area and also an influence on the people around you so they can be more concious about their roleplay.
  67.
  68.
  69. Just wandering around as citizen, doing occassional RP, not the best way of keeping an eye out on the server, but if you show yourself as a good rolemodel to lower players, and attend situations when you're not busy, it should be good.
  70.
  71. I would show myself as a good rolemodel to lower players by showing where they have slipped up and what they can do to change this. Also I would join in roleplay and keep the enviroment going so the person trying to get the roleplay out of people can have some fun and do their best to rp.
  72. If I was a policeman and I pulled over a speeding car I would then speak to them and show them how a professinal police pullover is proformed and they could hopefully pick up on this and do a better job theirselfs.
  73.
  74.
  75.
  76. Do you see yourself as an aggressive admin, helpful admin, or a friendly admin? How would you administrate in general, please give your honest answers.
  77.
  78. I see myself as a friendly admin, I like to get to know the regulars in OC and become their friends so if they come into trouble they can count on me to do my best for them and they can respect if there isnt alot I can do then what I have done for them so far is all I can do. I would administrate by joining into roleplay situations and pick up and guide the people who lack some indevidual skills of rp so they can do better and get more out of OCRP.
  79.
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83. Lastly:
  84.
  85. Who are you? (OwenCobs)
  86.
  87. What time do you usually come on? (time here, you might want to write a sentence)
  88. Most days between the hours of 16:00 ~ 21:00 GMT
  89.
  90. Is administration a right, perk, or responsibility? Right | Perk | Responsibility
  91.
  92. A Responsibility
  93.
  94. Finally, write your ingame name beneath.
