Finishing the first part of the big project

Entering the research room, Aldrah was followed by his daughters. It would be interesting if the two already started to have a greater interaction with necromancy practices.

"Well, this is my job, as a researcher of the Imperial Researchers. It involves necromancy." Aldrah nods to Zethra and Lirien.

After he said this, several undeads entered the room, carrying bodies, where two undeads placed two bodies on the table. One of a woman from Huang and another a Man from Crafthold.

"I'll start one of my theorys, which I hope it will work." Aldrah spoke, taking a deep breath. He would take a moment, arranging everything he would need, before actually starting the process.

Ah, this was a research about necromancy. She was probably going to end up looking away if it got too ugly. Being used to seeing undead walking around is one thing, but watchong one being made out of a corpse was another.

Lirien gripped on Zethra's coat, ready to use it to cover her eyes.

"Okay..."

Zethra watched the cast of undead bring in two lifeless corpses. Azure hues scanned over the stack of papers and the non living... It was kind of cool how magic could accomplish so many things, and that one like her father could implement theories and go even further with it.

After preparing everything that was necessary, Aldrah would begin what he hoped to be the last part of this experiment.

"And here we go." Aldrah smirked.

It would do something like the last time, revive one of the bodies first..

Positioning his hand on the body head, energy began to be sent to the body's circuits on the table. After a few seconds, the man's body would wake up, a new undead.

Creating undeads had already become something easy for Aldrah, messing around with life had become something normal for him.

But this process was only the beginning, now he would have to weaken the connection of the circuits and the soul, enough for him to be able to lead the soul to another body.

Then Aldrah placed his hand on the chest of the undead and began draining his energy. The two girls could identify what he was doing.

When the soul was already starting to leave the body, it was time to transfer it to another body.

Without wasting time, Aldrah went to the other body.

Using his ice magic, Aldrah formed what appeared to be a kind of pillar, above the chest of the woman's body. Such a pillar had on its top a little place to position something, besides the pillar being a kind of cylindrical tube.Then, from inside his satchel, Aldrah removed a crystal, which contained what looked like energy inside it. He positioned the crystal at the top of the pillar.

"I'll finally give you a use." He smiled.

The crystal was one that contained Arthur's energy, weakened energy... Being weakened, it would not be so useful, but Aldrah had a plan!

Aldrah moved his left hand and positioned it on the crystal, where he then began to send his mana to the crystal. To increase the power of it. Merging part of his energy with that of the Lich.

Maybe that would work. It was a test, after all.

After putting some of his energy in the crystal, he moved his hand now to the head of the woman's body, which was on the table. Now sending his energy to the circuits of the same, a small amount, could not be too much or less for what he wanted to do.

So both part were ready. It was time to see if it would work.

Seeing the strange process of ALdrah's experiment, Lirien's nervousness was quickly fading. Instead, in its place, was a rapidly rising curiosity towards what he was doing. When she heard necromancy, she imagined stitching a body back together. Instead, he created an undead like it was nothing and proceeded to use it for a different process.

She released Zethra's coat and leaned forward on the desk to get a closer view of what Aldrah was doing. His mana was being infused into the crystal that felt like Arthur's energy, though much fainter. He even poured mana into the woman who'd not yet become an undead as well.

She was no expert on necromancy, undead, or anything of the like, but that didn't stop her from wondering just what exactly Aldrah was doing. She wanted to ask questions, but that'd probably interrupt her dad's focus. For now, she had to patiently wait.

Zethra stared slowly growing hazy as things began to become blurry and incoherent. She was low on mana it seemed from not eating much. The girl would sap a bit of Lirien's mana before drifting off to take a little nap, clinging onto the girl despite stopping the process.

Zethra Nina Leverd whispers something.

Zethra made it her goal to ask what her father was doing later on as to not disturb him.

Lirien lightly shook, but that was it. A comforted smile appearing on her face. Her sister was back to nibbling again.

Right, time of the moment of truth, he would have to see if his theory would work!

Aldrah moved his hand toward the man's body, more exactly above him. He closed his eyes and grabbed something in the air, which was the soul of that being. Lirien and Zethra could now see the soul.

He began to calmly move his hands toward the crystal, not the body, but the crystal.

He had prepared everything for that moment, the crystal and pillar would serve as a bridge, which would force the soul to go to another body! It could probably damage the circuits a bit, but this could be fixed.

Then, when Aldrah was with the soul above the crystal, he began to force it toward the crystal, which because of the energy inside of the Crystal, it was pulling the soul, where with no problem at all, the soul then began to be sent towards the woman's body.

After a few seconds, Aldrah had noticed that the soul had entered the body! A success! But it was no time to celebrate, he needed to finish the process.

He placed his hands on the woman's head and began to send energy to the circuits, that would now make the man's soul trapped in the woman's body! But also with that, it would attract the soul of the woman.

When the woman's body began to wake up like an undead and her soul tried to go to the body, but without sucess, Aldrah saw that his theory was working.

Now it was enough for him to move the soul of the woman to the body of the man. Where as there was no original epithet, she would have to accept the one she was being forced to enter.

Then with a calm movement, Aldrah began to move the woman's soul to the man's body. Where firmly, he positioned the soul in the body and strengthened the circuits with his energy.

He stopped and walked away, process had been completed. Let's see if everything had taken place as expected.

Then, moments later, both bodies woke up, rising like undeads. Success! All worked as expected.

"That worked!" He jumped up, smirking, "Now, I need to test on sturdiest bodies.." It was time to hunt again.

Zethra stirred slightly when her father yelled it worked.

Zethra Nina Leverd asks, "Wha- what did you do?"

Swapping the souls of the dead with eachother in order to wake them up in different bodies....That sounded crazy, but here her dad was doing it apparently. Still, she did feel bad about that lady though.

"Uhmm... Could you put their souls back into the proper bodies? I don't think that lady would like being in a different body for the rest of her life....Well, Unlife."

Aldrah nods to Lirien, "Yes I can.. But it should be no problem, it's just undeads." Aldrah nodded, "Just my experiment, Zethra, do not worry, you can go back to sleep." Aldrah answered, his daughter.

Aldrah Leverd says, "All good then.. Let's head back to the square."

Aldrah snapped his finger, the undead at the table rose, going to the others, who were now leaving the place.
